Dr. Ly's office couldn't be more different. I'm always warmly greeted every time I come in. It's like reconnecting with old friends. There's never an issue scheduling (or rescheduling due to my erratic work schedule), and forms, insurance and payment is a breeze. Love it! Wait times are almost nonexistent, indicating that they know how to correctly schedule you. Typically, I walk in, check in, catch up a bit, and I'm taken back almost immediately. It's SO nice! Once in the back, the process continues to go smoothly. Regardless of which hygienist is working on me, there's never a question of where my dental health has been, or what's supposed to happen on the visit. They are always incredibly organized. Later, when Dr. Ly comes to do her part of the process, I'm always feeling reassured because I genuinely believe that she is fully invested in the best interests of her patients. As a result, now that my kids are at an age where we are moving them from the pediatric dentist, they have started going to Dr. Ly as well. While I've more often than not had generally good luck with previous dentists in whichever city I've lived in, I don't hesitate in saying that Dr. Ly, because of not only her professionalism, but the vibe of the whole office staff, is the best I've been to.

On their website, they proudly advertise that they work with children and have good reviews, so I felt safe bringing my little girl there. Big mistake. Dr. Nguyen said he would fix the filling without any anesthesia. When he started working on her tooth, she naturally got a little nervous and reached for my hand. I walked around the chair, held her hand, and gently reassured her that everything was okay just like any caring parent would do. Out of nowhere, Dr. Nguyen got visibly agitated and annoyed. Then he suddenly leaned down right into my 4 year old daughter's face and screamed at her to stop moving!! I was in complete shock. I immediately told him not to scream at her and that he had no right to speak to a terrified little girl that way. He finished the filling anyway, but the damage was done. The doctors - I'm so mouth pain adverse - And every other dentist office I have been to has at least one that's going to cause you unnecessary pain. If they employ one here, I have not found them. I've had several crowns from here and next day, I can barely feel anything, and certainly not pain. They are the only crowns I have that I forget are crowns. Get this; they even replaced somebody else's crown work that had fallen out. That one had been rubbing my gums and annoying me for years until it just felt off- Now that they replaced it, like the new ones, I can't even tell you where it is. The deep cleaning was a pleasure to go through here and instead of just bleeding gums after, I actually felt clean- Amazing. In my opinion, most modern dentist office billing departments are untalented grifters at best. Here, I have never felt I was being weirdly charged or had them come back and say they miscalculated thousands of dollars, which has been the norm from other offices.
