She came three hours late, when she was supposed to be at Plainview Hospital at 9am. She could talk about her son in great deal about how he was going out with a girl who had aides. She neglected my mom for three hours and my mom had to call up the agency to find out where she was. If anything bad would have happened, the aid would have gone to jail for neglect and the agency would have been held accountable legally. She also neglected my mom towards at the end of her life at Plainview Hospital. She went out for three hours, instead with my mom. My father came in the hospital room and didn't find her. She came back within hours and threw out of the room. On June 14 2024, my mom fell on the dining room floor. The aide Joyce didn't follow my father's instructions not to walk alone with her. Joyce the aide didn't call 911 and the agency. My father who I a retired physician did.

****FAMILIES AND PATIENTS BEWARE**** I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR…read moreBECAUSE YOU HAVE TO GIVE A RATING to submit a review. This is by far the worst place. Patients are treated like animals. I would not send my worst enemy here for care. Don't judge a book by its cover because this place looks nothing like the pictures. The attention and smiling faces attending to the patients doesn't exist. They leave patients in dirty diapers for hours even after calling for assistance. You will CONVENIENTLY find the patient's call button in the closed drawers of the nightstand, behind the bed or on the floor where the patient can't reach it or they don't work at all. Yep, my father's had frayed wires and did not work at all. There is AWLAYS the excuse that THEY NEED 2 PEOPLE to change a person, so you will keep waiting for that 2nd person for hours while your loved one sits in feces and urine with no dignity left. No motivation for patients to do therapy. All the excuses in the world to not follow through on patient care plan. As long as the facility is receiving payment, why move a patient along. The eyerolling from those in charge when you bring these matters to their attention is beyond unprofessional. You can have meetings about your concerns of the neglect, and nothing will change. You will hear patients screaming for help in their rooms or hallway, which is beyond disturbing. I have actually seen other patient's guests help the patients left to sit in the hallway for long periods of time being ignored. My last visit to this disgusting institution, I heard my father's room alarm going off from the check in desk, walked down the hall into my father's room to find him completely disoriented half on his bed and on the floor. Only did someone come to the room when they realized we were videoing the alarm outside the room going off and taking pictures of my father's condition. We raised many questions about the neglect of being left dirty for hours and over medicating my father so he would just sleep. If you keep the patients sleeping, the staff don't have to work. My father was rushed to the hospital septic from hours of being left in dirty diapers and neglected which led to infected bed sores and UTI's NOT ONCE BUT TWICE, which ultimately killed him. Medical Examiners' report doesn't lie or hide the neglect which is nothing short of murder. There is no denying the neglect now, and those in charge could eye roll their way to the unemployment line only because they can't be charged with murder & sent to jail, unless they can be. I would supply photos of the disgusting experience, neglect and abuse but will leave that to our attorneys to supply to the court and the State of New York. If you want a death sentence for your loved one, this is the place for you. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!
