A 1-star review is generous. Here's my review of Fort Worth Towing after attempting to work with…read morethem today. After reading the reviews of several local towing companies near Forth Worth during the day, I called the phone number for "Fort Worth Towing" (https://fwtow.com/auto-towing-services/) at 3:20pm for a tow request in NE Ft Worth. The towing job was for 2.3 miles (yes, a little more than 2 miles). The Company rep committed to arrival in "about 45 minutes - maybe a little less". I confirmed with the rep that meant about 4:10pm and hung up. I called for an update at 4:35pm and was told the driver would arrive in "about 20-25 minutes". Again I repeated their estimated time of arrival and confirmed this meant they would arrive no later than 5:00pm. I called back at 5:15pm to request an update and was put on hold for almost 15 minutes. Finally, a lady answered and indicated the driver would "be there in 10-15 minutes". So, given the prior calls, I repeated the prior estimated arrival times and their failure to meet their commitments. It was now 5:30pm and the mechanic shop where my vehicle was to be dropped off closed at 5:30 which means my vehicle will not be able to be dropped off today. I express my dissatisfaction and ask which firm she's representing (the Forth Worth Towing website says dba Delta Towing) and the lady says some new towing company named Bomar Towing is on the way. I asked to speak with a manager and she asked if I want to cancel the tow request. I said I NEED to cancel now that the mechanic's shop is closed for the day, but I reminded her that the original gentleman who answered the phone stated there would be a $49 cancellation fee if towing was cancelled. I told the lady that I now need to cancel (since the towing destination site is closed), but that I had better not be charged a cancellation fee for their firm's scheduling errors. She says she needs to visit with someone else about the cancellation fee and places me on hold again. After 10 minutes on hold, she disconnects the line without providing an update. It's now 6:20pm and I've been talking with this poorly run company for 3 hours which is 2 hours after the original estimated arrival time. After 3 hours, the tow truck never showed, none of the 5 individuals I spoke with took any responsibility for the handling of the situation, and no one has confirmed that I will not be charged for their scheduling errors - and I still don't have my vehicle over to the mechanic. BUYER BEWARE. Learn from my mistake. Save yourself time, money and don't jeopardize the safety of your family/friends. This group is not trustworthy and should be avoided if you care about your safety and getting your vehicle from point A to point B. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere to a group of people who will follow through on their word and actually provide the service you request when an urgent need arises. **UPDATE - as of the next morning (7/7/26), I see the company is attempting to charge me for $134.10 for a towing service that they never sent and even exceeds the $49 "cancellation fee" that they brought on themselves! Dear reader, if you see this while considering this company for your towing/emergency needs, RUN to find another service before they compound your problems and rob from you in your time of distress. Wow, the level of deception with these people is hard to fathom.**

My daughter, who lives about a 20-minute walk from campus, was able to manage with her scooter while the car was in the shop -- and by the end of the day, she was back on the road. As an out-of-town parent, I can't express how much I appreciated the smooth communication and easy payment process over the phone. Everything was handled professionally and with care. It gave me great peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. The service was excellent from start to finish, and it's clear they truly support TCU students. They treated him fairly, found that his 2006 Honda Ridgeline had several major problems but they did NOT take advantage of my boy, he is 22 so not a child, but I was concerned just the same. They SHOWED him everything that was wrong and explained what not fixing it would mean. Their prices were MORE THAN FAIR and they allowed us to leave the vehicle at the shop for a couple days because my son does not even live in Ft Worth and had to get a ride back to Denton, find transportation for himself and his girlfriend in the heat of August and they were incredibly accommodating. As I said, I was actually in a live in rehab facility and they also explained everything to me and we were able to come up with a plan. I will DEFINITELY recommend this business and bring our other vehicles back here if we need a REAL MECHANIC again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JEFF and the entire staff!! SECOND VEHICLE WE BROUGHT TO JEFF - My husband's brakes AND air conditioning were MAJOR problems in his 2016 Subaru Forrester and after the EXCEPTIONAL service we received with our son? I knew that the place to have my husband take his car was going to be AUTO CAR CARE CENTER!! We had just as great an experience the second time and while I could not find a way to leave a new review? I wanted to be sure to leave MORE FEEDBACK that expressed our gratitude for the amazing work done by Jeff and his staff. And yes... I am actually still in the hospital. I was in a live in rehab and I was re-admtted to the hospital and I was terribly worried that my husband's brakes were not working and his air conditioner was not working. He is not a spring chicken and has numerous health issues and can not be in the Texas heat. Jeff AGAIN took care of our needs without taking advantage of people who were in serious need of help in a timely manner and they got right to work and did not charge us an arm and a leg. The work they did was quality work for the best value I have come across in years. I'm talking about feeling like I was dealing with a mechanic who knew his stuff and wasn't talking to me or my family like we didn't know anything. He spoke to us on a level we could understand what he was saying, clearly explained the problems and the situation and the price, etc and he didn't try to upcharge us and sell us things we did not need. I highly recommend this shop. Wish I could have left a second review and not just added to my first review but I know we will be back in the future if we have the need for an honest mechanic. And seriously? Who doesn't need a mechanic's name in their wallet? You should put Jeff and Auto Care Care Center in YOUR Wallet!!

I didn't know anything about Auto Car Care Center's shop, but after speaking to Jeff, the owner, on the phone prior to the tow, I felt he could handle the problem. Jeff worked on my vehicle with the true knowledge of a Saturn's components the other shop never showed me even though they touted being Saturn specialists. Jeff, by far, is a true Saturn specialist. With his determination, he fixed my transmission issue by installing a remanufactured valve body. While there, he noticed a hesitation when starting the vehicle, and then he recommended a new fuel pump and seal. I finally got the call that my vehicle was "ready to take on the world". No problems since I left that shop! I cannot recommend this shop enough! After personally owning and operating a classic vehicle restoration shop for 35 years, I can attest that Jeff operates his shop with honesty, a high level of professionalism, a vast auto parts' knowledge and always keeps the cost of the job down for the customer. He saved me over $2500. from having to buy a remanufactured CVT transmission and labor installation cost!
