I had a diversity of vehicles that they were able to service from tires to alignment to mechanical to technology, etc. - especially troubleshooting what was wrong with my older vehicles, find parts and keep them running - and they could always fit me into their schedule no matter how busy they were, and meet the deadlines they set for pick-up appropriately. The staff was always kind, courteous, took lots of time to help you with whatever challenge you had, and always took the time to explain the issue and the choices you had to remedy the problem. I cannot recommend any vehicle mechanics and full-service fuel business in Great Falls for a service related business that is better than 15th Street Service Center. If I still lived there they would have my business for life. A special note: if you are a woman, I highly recommend this business because they are one of the mechanic shops that doesn't charge women higher prices because of their gender. If you are a woman and don't know your vehicles well, this is something many mechanic shops will often do. Emily quoted me $3,930 to repair a small dent on the side. We took it to two body shops and each quoted half that amount. Emily then passed me along to Brandon since she was about to take some time off. My last conversation with Emily was to compare the amount of money I'd need to borrow, plus my vehicle's trade in value, versus City Toyota's estimate. Theirs was $22,395 plus my truck. Mine was $19,895 plus my truck. When I met with Brandon today, I said I'd like to try and meet somewhere in the middle. He went back to the man behind the curtain who said, "our best offer, which I will not negotiate, is your truck plus $22,800" or something similar. Then they tried to argue that the "pulse brake light system" (which I don't want) was installed adds $500 to the price (which Emily never mentioned). I spent an hour and a half with Brandon, missed work and was made to feel like the victim of a major bait and switch. Thanks City Motors!

I had taken my 4Runner into Carnahans and told them I wanted the entire coolant system gone through and changed unless it looked like it was performing like new. Radiator, hoses, hose clips, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, flywheels, I said everything. They came back saying everything was good except the water pump and thermostat. After they did that the heater core needed changing, no problem, that's what it needs. After they do what they do they call me at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon to pick it up. I do and drive it three blocks away and park it for a few hours. As soon as I start it up it starts pouring out all the coolant so I'm stranded outside after work in the -5 degree weather with my vehicle that had just spent two weeks in the shop. Called Monday morning at 8 and they said they can't get me in but if they get a cancellation they'll give me a call. This company clearly did not want my business. They were not willing to fix the issues their work caused. Will update if/when I hear from them.

Mind you, the salesman may not have been aware of any at the time. However, I'm not sure their history with integrity should allot them the benefit of the doubt. I had been taking my Jeep in to them for years, trusting they were doing quality work and charging a decent price. Initially it seemed they were. Mind you, I don't know much past the basics of vehicle maintenance. So who knows how many times the swindled me before I caught them. This brings us to this 7/3/25. My Jeep started making clanging noises. I immediately took it in, especially being a single mom who understands the importance of mechanical performance in relation to vehicle safety. Upon taking my Jeep in I asked the clerk to tell the technician IT HAD TO BE DRIVEN to hear the issue. I even had her write it down. She said she would ensure they did and would call my when they were finished; but stated all technicians would be out for at least another 30 mins for lunch. Not even 30 mins later I received a call saying they looked it over and they didn't see any issues. This made zero logical sense for several issues besides the time difference, but I figured I'd go there and talk to them in person. When I spoke to the clerk she swore that they looked it over and saw no issues inside or out. So I asked her (while staring her dead in the eye) if they test drove it. She paused and said, "uhmm yep. They did." So I asked again, "Are you positive? Because I'm pretty positive there is something wrong but they won't be able to tell unless they drive it." She again affirmed they did. I then asked for a print out of their work. To this she responded, "Oh, you don't get a print out for them just doing a check like that." I said, "Really, because they have every other time?" She again said they didn't. So I asked, "Then how do I know they looked it over or what if I need to bring it in in reference to this visit?". She said, "Oh, well we have it documented in our system. Don't worry." Not wanting to fuss I left but immediately felt I was being lied to. However, it was the 4th (or day before) and I didn't want to make a fuss. Not even 2 mins after getting on 10th my Jeep started making the same horrendous clanging noise while also losing power in spurts. I drove it home on side streets. Then immediately called my dad to come take it for a drive. After which he told me DO NOT DRIVE IT-AT ALL! It's absolutely not safe to drive and they shouldn't have let you drive it out of that lot. We then had it towed back to the dealership following the holiday. Long story short after doing some research I found out there was a mass recall on Jeeps of similar makes for PTU failures. Some of the specific warnings about PTU failures are that they can cause you to suddenly loose power, loose the ability to stop, and even combust (aka catch fire). So I took it back in and talk to the SM(sales manager) who at first tried to deny I even brought it in DUE TO THEIR BEING NO PAPERWORK IN THE SYSTEM! I then told him the name of the clerk. He called her in and she acknowledged I was in but ONLY THEN ADMITTED IT WAS NEVER TEST DRIVEN! The SM swore he would do everything to ensure it was taken care of and earn my trust back. However, they then tried to charge me for the recall work-ALL OF WHICH SHOULD BE COVERED! Clearly he failed, but then a new SM came in. Maybe things would be different. 3/4/26-Instead they again charged me for damages to a bolt that "somehow" was missing despite being told that it had to be removed physically. However their own mechanic even stated in front of them, "UNLESS it was damaged due to the extra stress due to the PTU failure." Plus it is in the same area where they had to go in to repair my PTU. I had them put it back on the lift and show me both areas. So if you are looking for honesty, integrity, and pride in the workmanship AND leadership behind it, I suggest you go anywhere but here. Period.

Took my Toyota Tundra in to see about a wobbling in the suspension, they said the rear shocks and…read morefront struts were shot and leaking and the boots on the front ball joints were cracked, they included pictures. I had them replace the rear shocks and they said the fan was contacting the upper radiation hose so I had them replace that. Total cost was $756. I then took it to the Toyota dealer for a second opinion, no leakage in the front struts, no cracks in the ball joint boots, everything was normal. They also took pictures of both. I would not recommend Great Falls auto repair for anything but a low tire, what a rip off joint. Stay as far away from them as you possibly can!
