Half of a Roast Beef sandwich with a side of Kale Caesar salad with croutons.

Very nice employees working there...I tried the Roast Beef sandwich with a side of the kale Caesar salad. Also I got a salted chocolate dessert bar and everything was delicious! You can tell, it was made with love! The only negative thing I can say about this place is that the Roast Beef was a bit skimpy on the meat. As well as the bread that came with the soup tasted like a day old. It was very dry. It could've benefited by being warmed up. However, I will be going back probably to get the same thing and try maybe a new dessert.

A great modern deli serving sandwiches, salads, and coffees. They also have some wines and market items. Apparently, you can also open their bottle and have it at the shop without a corkage fee! We'll definitely be back for that. You can get a few combos of soups, salads, and sandwiches. When we got there the selection was a tad limited but we did enjoy the Aleppo Tuna and Mortadella Sandwiches. Fillings were tasty and fresh. The bread was nicely seasoned but could have been toastier.

Wow, must go for the refreshing salads! The kale Caesar is amazing. The roasted beet is even better. The price is great for two small salads, $11. Service was very sweet as they help me with my plates to my table with my baby. The decor and ambiance is so cute, calm and modern. Parking is street parking. Counter service, so order at the register and bust your own table.

Roasted veggie sandwich with kale Caesar salad. Tuna and faro salad.

Delicious sandwiches with wide choice of salads or soup. Easy cafe style ordering. Fresh ingredients. Good vegan and vegetarian choices!

BEASTED! After a gluttonous few days on vacation my friend and I were in desperate need of some salads so we stopped in here after looking over there menu. My friend got their soup of the day, vegan chili, and enjoyed it. I got the salad trio where you pick three of their many salads. I got the poppyseed coleslaw, kale ceaser, and quinoa chickpea which was the best one in my opinion. Great food, good service, and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Visiting in the area and tried this place. Hesitated at first because the options are unique. Very friendly and offer soup sampling. We order at sat down to eat. Very tasty. Very yummy. Chicken soup was excellent. Best carrot cake I ever had. Highly recommended.

The fruit salad was a surprisingly delicious side to my sandwich, and my only caveat would be the price. Very delicious though!

Split pea soup, sour dough bread and roasted pear, delicata squash and quinoa salad. Every last bite was amazing.

Taylor Street Kitchen is such a breath of fresh air in Downtown Portland. I am SO thankful to have them near my office so I can grab lunch there a couple times a week. Their seasonal menu is the perfect lunch -- reasonably priced, nutritious and absolutely delicious. I just spent $10 for lunch and got a cup of the most delicious split pea soup I've ever had, with a sizable chunk of fresh sour dough that's appropriately chewy on the inside and crusty on the outside, and a side of the roasted pear, delicata squash and quinoa salad. OMG, I cannot overstate how tasty and amazing it was. The PERFECT fall lunch. Their staff is always super welcoming and helpful. I also love that they recently added the ability to preorder online!

Really cute and delicious local lunch spot. I had the roast beef sandwich with a kale caesar salad on the side. Everything was fresh and tastes homemade. The aroma of their roasted chicken made me wish I had room for more, but the sandwich was filling while still feeling light. The staff was kind and helpful. It's an easy walk from the art museum. The music and ambiance was really relaxing and charming. Would love a place like this in my neighborhood!

Sandwich and soup combo- mortadella sandwich and tomato, ginger, and lentil soup

I was in the area for work and this place was recommended to me by a colleague. It's the perfect cozy lunch spot on a chilly day. I came in around 12:05/12:10 which was truly just before the lunch rush (began around 12:15). Ordered the mortadella sandwich (whipped ricotta, pistachio, olive, and greens) and the tomato, ginger, and lentil soup. Both were great, but the soup was definitely a favorite. Cappuccino was delightful and I ordered a piece of the coconut carrot cake to go, based on other reviews. Highly recommend and looking to come back!

I know we…read morehave several really popular polynesian and Hawaiian restaurants in the area, but I'm uncertain how many uniquely identify as Samoan. Tusi's Deli Creation may be the only one! Located at 68th and Glisan, the restaurant has been introduced to the community slowly over the last few months. The owners are currently doing catering and producing prepackaged deli style food for sale elsewhere, but they've also opened their doors to the public on the weekends. Apparently, the intention is to open for extended hours in early November when they'll operate from Wednesday through Sunday. I've only sampled Tusi's Deli Creation dishes sold for prepackaged takeout, but the chicken half moon pie and round pancakes (Panikeke) are so fresh and packed with flavor, I can't wait to visit this weekend to try more! I'll amend my review when I do. In the meantime, the deli is building quite a social media following where they show off some of their dishes, and make announcements about hours, etc. I highly suggest you check them out before they get so popular they begin selling out of inventory!

Please look for the sign. I had to take a turn around the block to realize it was there. (It was rainy and dark out). The owners are lovely people super attentive and welcoming. I called ahead to make sure this wasn't a fluke and the guy answered and reassured me they did indeed have COOKED Samoan food! I got fish, mamoe, muli pipi, with rice and taro. Let me tell you, I don't even think I chewed for the most part. HAHAHA. The food was warm, delicious ,and a comforting in the way that only food from "home" can comfort you. They for sure have blessed hands in the kitchen. I didn't try any of the baked goods or the deserts. But they're an option that I am fully going to take advantage of next time! The owners mentioned they were robbed and almost gave up! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW SUPPORT FOR THEM! They truly deserve your patronage! Thank you again for the AMAZING meal.

They're open on Mondays, which is rare since many restaurants are closed, so it was nice to try it before leaving. My sister ordered the spaghetti and cheese with two large meatballs, garlic bread, and the Chicago beef with Italian sausage, and both were great. The meatballs were especially delicious. I just wish more were included, though extras are available to order. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich which was very cheesey and flavorful. Afterward, we noticed you can add pepperoni and make it a "Chicken Parmeroni," which sounds like a better option. The large antipasta salad with balsamic vinegar was fresh and tasty, and it's nice that you can choose your dressing . I really love the antipasta salad! Overall, a really enjoyable meal and definitely worth recommending! Wish there had been time to try more of the menu.

Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!
