I am writing this review to share the unprofessional manner in which the business of Taylor Nursery has dealt with us. We hired this company to assist the landscaper in selecting perennials flowers and shrubs for the many gardens on a property in Dickinson, ND. The groundwork was completed at the end of June. We had expressed our concerns and considered postponing planting the gardens till the following spring. We were assured that all would be fine if we proceeded planting even though the July temperatures were 90 degrees and were predicted to stay up for a good duration of time. The following spring the plants were not thriving and I personally asked Robin, the owner of Taylor Nursery when should I be getting concerned? Robin said that it was early spring and we still had some grace period. In July, with the below normal temperatures, we replaced almost all the perennials with the exception of trees. With the temperatures remaining very cool, the gardens flourished. However, we then received a new bill for all the replacements stating that only trees are covered by warranty. She became distant and not answering phone calls or emails. We sent her an email stating g that even local business such as Runnings and Menards replace perennials with a receipt for up to one year after purchase. We never even received a response until February of the next year. She clearly excuses her position and will not address us except through the voice of a middle man. This is the first time I have ever posted and my concern is that no one else gets taken advantage of, and buyer beware. If I thought I would be being required to repurchase all of these perennials again, I would have selected a different greenhouse in the surrounding area. This matter is still on-going and she has not even tried to reach out to further discuss this matter. read more
