Taylor Made Café is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and instantly loved the warm, welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, quick, and genuinely seems to care about making sure you leave happy. I ordered a TMC pick wrap, protein balls and a Green machine drink.Everything was perfect. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and beautifully prepared. The drink was smooth with clean ingredients--it was just right. Let me start by saying, the owner was there and she was the worst offender. Ordered my food with two other ladies. They got both of their orders, I did not. They commented that their food wasn't very good and that I wasn't really missing anything. Almost 15 minutes goes by (I had ordered a simple tuna salad sandwich) and I checked on my order. They didn't even remember me placing an order! Argued with me about the fact that I placed an order until I brought up my credit card receipt to show them. They then had to ask me what I ordered and I thought they had started making my lunch. One would think they would do it on the fly, but no. Another 15 maybe 20 minutes goes by and my friends were done eating, we had had our meeting and I went and asked yet again about my food. at this point I told them I didn't want it anymore and they JUST so happened to whip it up at that exact moment and hand it to me. When I tried to address the owner, she turned her back on me and started scoring her sourdough and when I called to her, she whipped her head around and snapped at me. I was too tired to argue or anything at this point. I felt like a burden and an inconvenience to her and it was ME that was interrupting her busy day... of doing what exactly? This was my first time to this cafe, And I have to say, most likely be my last. The menu sounded good, allbeit a little pricey. My friend and I each ordered a salad, but they were completely lackluster. Zero flavor and the plates were small. Supposedly mine had goat cheese on it but I don't think it did. Neither one of these salads were filling, or tasty. They offer a lot of different things on their menu, and Maybe sandwiches or wraps are a better choice for this location. I've been here three times and the three times that I've been here the staff is rude. The owners rude. The food is overpriced. The cooks look miserable and unexperienced. I ordered a wrap only for it to fall apart as soon as I opened it from the wrapper that it's in. It was mostly just lettuce and little bits of nuts and cheese and turkey. The food was fabulous. I waited 50 minutes for a salad. I only got noticed when I went two steps from my seat to the counter to ask. What really left an unsavory taste in my palate was the carefree way this was dismissed. Not even a sense of compassion or an apology. I am a business owner and certainly would never leave a client in plain view unattended for nearly an hour. I would extend my concern and apologize. At the end of my time there I went back to the counter to ask for a takeout package and then I received a polite apology. I really appreciated this. I do like this cafe. Their juices are the real deal. They don't all taste good but you get the needed detox or energy flow from natural juice.

The only people that went for downvotes were the unhinged wellington/boca folk who expect everything to feel like the ritz. A wellington "2" is basically a worldwide "5" Their salad wrap and bean burrito are out of this world. Don't bother ordering coffee here or much else. Even though they repeat everything in your order and ask you to ask if they have ingredients- they won't have them and then they won't remember them anyways. The coffee was so bad that we tossed them and went somewhere else. They have the potential to be good and they obviously want to have good products but is a total miss. We wasted a half hour of our vacation coming here for food and coffee that we then went elsewhere to replace but for a $50 order that's pretty disappointing. read more

Sooooo...I've been here a couple of times. It's not my favorite, but I wanted a smoothie and my go-to place is currently closed for renovations. Anyways, my order has only 5 ingredients. Now these are ingredients that have plenty of and use in most of their other smoothies. Each item was considered an 'addition' but there were 5 ingredients in the entire drink. $11.56. I REALLY wanted to love this place, then to top if off they have Moe's Kombucha - double win right? I went in and ordered an egg wrap with peppers and onions a swiss cheese with a refill on my Moe's Kumbacha. The Moe's is $16 for the refill and the egg wrap was $6.50. Not bad pricing for the wrap and knew the price of Moe's before I went. The Moe's refill station is on the side and you refill it yourself. So heres when my issue happened. I used apple pay and I held my phone over the payment thingy and it asked if I wanted to leave a tip..... um to refill my own bottle and for a cook to make my wrap... no, sorry... So I click on none and my phone said DONE. I go to walk away and the man tells me I haven't finished. I said I know my phone said DONE and he said that was just for the tip portion. So now I have to get my phone back out and re open and pay. Then I see him go back to talk with cook and figured I should put a tip in there so nothing might happen to my food, and I threw a dollar in the bucket. So now I am refilling my Moe's, since it is a carbonated drink I got my 64 oz bottle (that costs $16 to refill) about 3/4 of the way full and it was 1/4 foam. I asked the cook and the person who took my order (since they were both in the back cooking area) what to do about that and the older man who was cooking handed me a straw and said to just stir the inside of jar rim. I stood there doing that until my wrap was done and still didn't get a full bottle. The cook then says "Sometimes we just give people a cup to fill up so they don't have to stand there" ok well here I am, my jars not full and my wrap is ready and I wasn't offered a cup. Perhaps he didn't see me go back and throw a dollar in the tip bucket, but not sure why they ask for a tip for a wrap to go and a do it yourself fill station that you can't even fill. Maybe if I pointed out that I left a tip I might have gotten a cup to get my fill $16 worth of Moe's. Really let down here. I used to waitress, I get it. Tips are what people live on, but for you to just enter my order into computer and take money.... thats not tip worthy. There should not even be a tip bucket there. Not sure how the tables work, but if you are served at the table then you can leave a tip if you like, but over all left a bad taste in my mouth. The reason for the 2 stars instead of 1 was that the wrap itself was pretty good. Not many places you can get healthy food here. But to ask for a 15% tip, 20% tip or 25% tip (I believe those were the suggestions on the screen) for a $16 bottle I wasn't even able to fill really shouldn't even happen. read more

I am a year-round resident. I've passed this place for so many years and for some reason thought they were only catering. At the request of my health conscious girlfriend we stopped in today, and I feel like I've missed out on so much over the years by not coming in sooner, just a gem of a place, run by chefs who are passionate about high-quality fresh ingredients and inventive combinations. No microwaves, no heat lamps, just a truly great tasting fresh food. With that said, the food is made to order and it can take a little bit, but so worth the wait for quality fresh food that you feel great after eating and holds you over. Man, I love this place. The food is incredible, and such a comfort item for me. I go there with my mom a lot, especially because it's close to my school and is one of the only places we can get food that accommodates both of our dietary restrictions. AND I had a bangin' good cookie when I came to pick up the food (which, since it was made with applesauce instead of butter, clearly meant it had no calories and I will look awesome in a bikini for having eaten it.) New to the area, and have been checking out the local restaurant scene. Taylor Made is the owner of Taylor Made Cafe and she was kind and attentive. Quaint and clean location. t seems the format of the restaurant is to order at the counter, and then your food will be brought to you. As I am slightly difficult I had them offer more traditional service of sending a waiter to the table. I was happy that they could comply. There was tow of us at the table, and we split the Waldorf chicken salad wrap, as well as the curry chicken wrap. Both were very tasty, and a good portion.
