In September, I was contacted again by the VA Dept of Taxation indicating that I still owed money, and VA was pursuing collections and/or garnishing my wages. It was a small amount, so I just paid it. I told Steve I was upset by several errors in my state taxes (hasn't happened to me in 18 years of self-filing). Steve said he didn't understand why I was upset. He did offer to pay the small amount of overdue taxes. For me, I have 2 expectations for tax prep: file on time and accurately. Steve was 0 for 2.
