Tax Guy Albert - Downey - Tax Services Near Me - Downey, California

I was recommended to get my taxes done here and to go to Lorraine. I did my taxes here for the first time this year and Lorraine was great! She made sure I got what I could and gave me tips for next tax season so that I'll be better prepared! I usually just do it myself but I'm so glad I went to her this year because I obviously didn't know what I was doing. Thanks Lorraine for helping me out this year! read more

Tax Guy Albert is my tax guy for the last two years, and for the foreseeable future. He is professional and knows the tax code. Been going here well over 3-4 years and Margery has always been helpful and just great!!

The staff are fantastic. Felix is absolutely amazing! You're in great hands if you have them do your taxes.

This was my first time going with Tax Guy Albert and I was blown away. I've always done my taxes by myself on Turbo Tax not thinking much of it until all of my co workers started telling me about how much they receive from Tax Guy Albert. Margery managed to not only answer all of my questions, but also helped me fix my taxes WHILE also giving me perfect customer service with an entertaining time while doing so. I cannot stress this enough, PLEASE go see Margery for any of your tax needs! read more

We have been seeing Felix now for four years and we wouldn't go anywhere else! We aren't local to his office anymore, but his knowledge, professionalism and work ethic make him our tax guy for life. The appointments never feel stressful. In fact it is the exact opposite, we usually laugh and talk about our families. The office of always clean and the employees are always welcoming! Whether you have a simple return or something more difficult, the staff is fully equipped to take care of it. We are so grateful someone referred us to Felix four years ago. If you need a tax guy, look no further. And ditto on the money tree! read more

This review is for Margery Ramos. 100% recommend going to her! She is friendly, outgoing, and knows her stuff. My husband and I filed with her and we couldn't be happier! She spotted some mistakes on my husband's past tax returns (not done at TGA) and was able to fix them, thus getting him more money. She is quick and efficient, it feels like you are visiting a friend to do your taxes. I also recommended her to my parents. Will definitely return to this location as long as she is working there read more

Got my taxes done here and they were done incorrectly. I've called multiple times and kept being told felix would call me back. never did he and now it looks like i'm stuck with a bill from the irs. find somewhere else to get your taxes done read more

Excellent work!! Won't be doing my taxes anywhere else now. 2 thumbs up . Nothing but good things to say about the staff and how they put so much effort into wanting to get the most back for your return AND goes back 3 years to see if they can get more money from previous returns! read more

Terrible service from the owner of the office. Horrible Attitude and tries to pressure you into making a decision.

WARNING!! If you are not filing a W-2...DO NOT COME HERE. They can't handle tax filings that aren't simple W-2's. Customer service is 50/50 depends on what mood they're in. I took my 1040s (he'll charge roughly $245 for these...kinda ridiculous but the good reviews eased me into paying) and paid $650 for three years returns. This guy Felix knows the system and I've reported him and this business to the BBB. They're probably good at what they do but so good they know too many tricks to like Feliz says "LETS NOT GET CAUGHT WITH OUR HAND IN THE COOKIE JAR." Well Felix, they red flagged my return and now I owe again thanks to you. I gave them my business last year and I set up an appointment to fix this issue on November 2019. They canceled and I was patient and called MONTHLY in December, again in January, again in February and yesterday in March. Felix finally answered and said my debt was from 2014 not from when he filed (basically so he wouldn't have to help me for free even tho he filed these taxes for me) and said he be happy to walk over but not help because he's so busy. I actually referred people and put money in that dumb tree in his office. Blessings to him and his fam but man they ducked me over. Those who took the time to read this, you've been warned. read more

I've gone to many different places for taxes but out of all of them this is the most worthwhile. I drive over an hour to come here to see Felix because he does the long form and really takes his time to get me the correct amount. I'm actually taking my last years taxes for revision with Felix because every other tax guy did the short form for me & ripped me off. I would highly recommend this place! You pay a little more than average for their services but it's certainly worth it. I've referred my family to Felix and they've all had wonderful experiences and have referred their friends :) The only negative is that you do wait... a lot lol. But he takes his time with each client so when he took the same amount of time with me I realized he's just very detailed and just wants best for his customers. read more

This is the best place I've ever been to for taxes. Nobody likes getting their taxes done but I've had nothing but great experiences and I've been here for at least 8-10 appointments already. The staff is always professional and on top of things. My best interests are always considered. I will continue to refer my loved ones here. read more

I look forward to doing my taxes every year, only because my tax guy is the best! Felix is very professional and knowledgeable. He's helped me and family so much over the years I've been going to see him. I've recommended around 12-15 people to him already and each one is a returning customer. Extremely legitimate and extremely helpful. The facility has TV screens on almost every wall and usually has a decent movie playing, so your time in the waiting room flys by! Go see Felix!! read more

Do call for an appointment as the dead line gets closer they will be busy. Ask for Carlos, as long as they are around I'll be sure to be a customer.. I wrote this review because the service is great and they do a great job. Thank you Albert and Carlos.
