If I could give 10 stars I would! Joe and his staff are amazing! Even with Tax Day fast approaching Joe was able to communicate with us efficiently and get us the BEST TAX REFUND (more than we ever imagined!). He answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed or like we were just another client. You can tell he loves what he does and wants educate his clients well on the tax law. WE WILL NEVER USE TURBO TAX EVER AGAIN AFTER TAX ACE, AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU! We will be loyal customers forever! His staff is also great with communication and letting us know what paperwork was needed in a timely fashion. Thank you Joe and Staff! You guys are the best! read more

Not thrilled. Used Nataly for several years until there was a misunderstanding about the rate which had been the same every year. When they tried to charge me more the in last year I used them, even after she indicated the rate would remain the same, I questioned it. I was told that her time was too valuable not to charge the new rate. Fine, but then don't indicate the rate would remain unchanged. Even so, I tried contacting them last year to re-engage and received no reply. It's too bad because I can bring them good business, esp. since they have relocated again to a closer location to my home. I'll keep looking. Edit: as for the absurd comment that I ever spoke to her staff in a disrespectful manner, that simply did not occur. I stand by my review and will keep looking. read more

I had the feeling like my taxes weren't being filed appropriately by my tax preparers that I had been going to so I looked to yelp to see who was the highest rated tax preparers available. I found TaxAce and to say I'm impressed just doesn't do it justice. They have just gone over one of my past 3 years so far and have saved me a bunch of money already! I can't thank them enough for catching the mistakes. I will be going to them for my tax needs from here on. read more

Natalie and her team have advised me on my taxes for the last ten years. Always great personalized service.

Helped make the process easier, was able to use their portal and zoom as a conduit of communication

I had a very complicated tax mess to deal with after a bunch of weird inheritance stuff. ValJoseph not only took care of everything, I somehow barely owed any money to the government. If I had done it myself I would have messed up and owed thousands. Instead, I got $300 back. They are worth every penny read more

A friend referred me here telling me they were better than HandR block. They aren't, and they charge more.

Nataly at Tax Ace has done my taxes for more than five years, completely changing my view of getting my taxes done. Went I first went to her I owed money, now she coaches me on how to get maximum deductions. Life changing as I have gone from from being a w-9 employee to self-employed as well. Just ask and she will audit your last year's tax return to see if she can find deductions that weren't taken and get you more money back. And she does this at no charge! Nataly is also meticulous, teaches tax preparation and has stood before the IRS (and won) on behalf of her clients. She and her staff is are a joy to work with, always leaving me smiling. read more

Unprofessional. Find a family business that takes care of their customers and employees. I found the owners to be rude and inconsiderate. Edit- just messaged back as I just saw where the messages are located. I didn't want to go into detail here on my experience but since they want to discredit my communication with them. I overheard them being really disrespectful to an employee of theirs and I will not be doing business with people who cannot treat their own employees with respect. Was not the first time and I was very uncomfortable. Very sad. Do better. Find a business who treats their employees with respect not just the customers with pockets. read more

I used Tax Ace for the first time this tax season based on other high reviews. Joe prepared my taxes and I had nothing but a positive experience. From staff to discussing my tax preparation with Joe it was a positive experience. They are all efficient, professional and prompt. My tax preparation was explained to me on a personal level and I was provided advice for the future. I would highly recommend them for your tax preparation. read more

Nataly at Tax Ace is doing an amazing job with our tax returns. She's very knowledgeable with tax laws and she makes sure that we get the maximum refund. She's been doing our taxes for 2 years now and we are very satisfied with her work. She exceeds all our expectations! Last year, our tax return was a bit complicated because we sold our rental property, refinanced our new house, etc, but she did it with ease. We went to her office on her opening day (5 days ago) thinking that we were just leaving our paperwork but she finished it in 1 hour. What more, We forgot to bring our check book to pay her fee but she trusted us so much that she told us to bring it the next day. That' s what you call AWESOME!!! Customer satisfaction is her goal!!! read more

We would like to express our thanks to Tax Ace, especially Joe Zamora and his wonderful staff. We are very satisfied with Joe's work....he is professional, competent, honest and helpful. We will return next year for great service. I highly recommend this service. In addition, the receptionist, Ariel, is very polite, kind and helpful. It's a pleasure to deal with this fine company. Thanks Joe and staff! Dan and Maria read more

I normally prepare our taxes but 2020 was a very different year for us. So I decided to seek out some professional help. I messaged the business and Joe got back to me quickly. We had a brief phone conversation and I explained our situation and Joe mentioned running different scenarios to see what would be best for us. The ease of the whole process was great! We uploaded all our tax documents into their secure portal and Joe had them done within a couple weeks. He went over all the scenarios with us and recommend what he felt was best for us. This was all done via a Zoom call, so we didn't even have to go into their office at all. We are moving out of the area but we will definitely be using Tax Ace in the coming years since everything can be done remotely. If you need professional tax services, I would highly recommend Joe and his team at Tax Ace. Thanks again Joe! read more

I started my business a year ago and decided to go to TAXACE for my taxes. First I went there for tax advice for businesses and Joe helped me with that. The advice was clear and easy to understand. He really takes the time to explain it to you in a way you understand. Came back to get my taxes done and my experience was amazing. Joe took the anxiety out of doing my self empolyed taxes. Not to mention, he's very friendly and makes filling taxes not so stressful. I'm ready and excited for next year now that I know what to expect. Customer service at Taxace was friendly and was greeted right away and seen right away. Would reccomd this place to anyone! read more

Joe and Tax Ace are incredible. From our first inquiry we had an immediate response and great follow up. The portal/zoom platform made it so easy to do contactless taxes. Joe explained everything in a way that made so much sense, and is helping us to plan for our future tax seasons. We will never go anywhere else for our taxes! read more

We tried to do our own taxes this year with Turbo Tax. With turbo tax we we're going to owe an obscene amount of money. We figured we must have entered in the numbers incorrectly somewhere. So we decided to seek professional help. I found TaxAce on Yelp and their reviews were very promising. I looked up reviews for HR block and the reviews were awful. Joe and Nataly are a husband and wife team and they know their tax knowledge very well. They both sit down and take the time to EDUCATE you about how taxes work and how to make it work towards your advantage. It's shocking how very little we know about taxes, given that my husband and I are both well educated. Joe and Nataly take the anxiety part of doing taxes and really sit down and work the numbers with you line by line. They understand how financially and emotionally draining tax time can be, at least for those of us who have to pay every year!!! (You're very lucky if you get a tax refund every year btw) We worked directly with Joe. During tax season they are open 7 days a week. We got the last appointment for a Tuesday night and he stayed long past closing to make sure we had all our ducks lined up in a row. The total appointment time took about two hours. He's very professional, kind and detail oriented. Exactly what you want in a tax guy! Joe got us out of what could have been a financial disaster and we ended up saving more than half of what we would have paid if we had used Turbo tax! I hate that we had to pay this year, but nonetheless at least I'm still saving lots of money! There is no standard flat rate fee, it all depends on how much paperwork you have and what's involved in your itemizations. We paid about $381 for our services. Hope this helps! You won't regret it! Also, they have a referral program, tell them Leanne sent you! ;) read more

Thankful for fellow Yelpers who led me here. Made an appointment over the phone to get my taxes done. Was asked to come by and drop off my documents so the tax preparer could get a head start on looking at my taxes, I did as they asked and received an e-mail the day before asking that I bring in other documents that may benefit me in my return. Arrived promptly for my appointment time and was greeted by Joe my tax preparer. Joe was knowledgeable, patient and went over every step of taxes with me to explain what was what. He also gave me advice on how to save me some $$$. If you're looking for great customer service, look no further. I'll definitely be back next year! read more

Easily the best service we've ever received, Nataly and Joe took the time needed to look into something that we had questions about and quickly found answers that we could not. They explained everything in detail to us and put us at ease. Very knowledgeable and quick to respond - we know exactly who we are calling to do our taxes from here on out! We used them again this year and are just as happy with the service and professionalism. The best place to have prepare your taxes without a doubt read more

I have been so busy with working long hours in addition to dealing with distance learning with my daughter that the thought of doing my own taxes seemed like too much work. However, I knew 2020 was a different year, and therefore, I had more tax forms than normal. I initiated my tax return using tax act and saw an estimate as to what my refund would look like, but with a few new forms related to a rollover and a refinance, something told me it was better to get a professional to look at it. I saw the great reviews with Tax Ace and reached out via yelp. I was able to get in contact with ValJoseph (Joe) and we spoke a lot via email while I was making a decision on whether to get my taxes professionally done or not. Joe was so knowledgeable on the tax code and certain deductions just in our email conversations, I decided to become a customer of Tax Ace and I did not regret it. Joe gave me an estimate based on all of my forms, he said it may go a little above once they receive everything. A few days later, my taxes were complete and they were scheduling a zoom call to go over my return line by line. Obviously with COVID, I am choosing my physical environments, so I appreciated the zoom option. Joe and I spoke for about an hour and went through my entire federal and state return. I ended up getting more as part of my itemized deductions and once the invoice was paid, it was submitted 2 days later. By Monday evening, I had my return copy in my hand. Now just the waiting period for my return. The pricing to me was a little expensive, however, I did have a lot of forms that required input, so I cannot put a price on that. I think going the cheap route so many times, you just become accustomed to that not understanding the effort it takes to complete a tax return, even though a program. One of the positives that I enjoyed so much was when I got my physical copy of my return, it had a two year analysis, showed my tax bracket and provided a break down of areas of improvement and possibly changes to my pre-tax deductions and so forth which will initiate my discussion with Joe later this summer. The fact that this came standard was amazing and when I use Joe again next year, I will be able to see a full picture. I truly enjoyed the service that Joe provided and I look forward to working with him again this summer. TaxAce has great customer service and will break everything down for you so that you can understand. In addition, I have seen quite a few tax programs and their program while reviewing the return seemed really comprehensive to make sure nothing was missed, which can truly eliminate the changes for being audited. read more

I found Tax Ace on Yelp, called them and had an appointment the same day. Joe helped me, he was very knowledgeable and professional, he helped me get back as much as possible.
