Got a great table overlooking the sea for a group of 4 (walk-in) for brunch/lunch. Most people at the table ordered at least twice, which truthfully probably inconvenienced the wait staff, but it does speak to the quality of the dishes.

Here's the thing: the food is just fine. Don't go for the food. The pastries, however, are DIVINE. Next world delicious; I would think about coming to Porto/ Foz just to eat pastries at Tavi. I sampled a couple of chocolate varieties because that's what I love, but everything else also looked fantastic. A Porto must. The view is also beautiful from the dining room - even on the rainy day I stopped by, it was a beautiful addition to my trip. Highly recommend.

This place was a wonderful surprise! We were worried because of the reviews but this was one of the better cafes we've been to in Porto! The view was inCREDible !! And the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and kind. We ordered some drinks and sat by the window staring out at the ocean - such a picturesque view. Coffee and sangria was great, but avoid the milkshakes. Found out the hard way that milkshake in Portugal does not mean the same thing as an American milk shake. The chocolate coffee milkshake was basically room temp chocolate milk. Not good. Other than that, this is a wonderful place to spend a few minutes relaxing or talking, and it's a short walk away from other great locations in Foz!

Ordered the ham and cheese omelette, mini steak sandwiches (not flavorful), Brie and ham sandwich (swapped out for a baguette). Pastries were delicious; ordered about half the case. The egg custard, chocolate tart, donut/cronut type thing, lime tart and "sand" cookies were amazing. The macaroon and black/white cookies were ok. Location was great but overcrowded seating to point it was almost uncomfortable. Seemed to have a full coffee bar but didn't order. Takes credit cards. Would come back.

The perfect spot to enjoy great Portuguese pastry with a perfect sea view. Huge variety of pastries. You can choose either traditional portuguese pastry... or international ones. This is one of the best place to try scones with jam and butter. Scones are not just like the british recipe.. but very tasty... a good option for a breakfast with a jaw drop seaview.

So I didn't try any of their *food* food, which seems to be a focus, but they're definitely providing a great service to anyone in the area who needs some quality morning coffee. 4 euro for an oat milk latte is a pretty great price, and it was a great latte. Since I was there and saw that they also sold pastries, I also got a filled croissant for 3 euro, which made a great breakfast - the croissant itself, honestly, was just good, but the cream filling was fantastic. p.s. if you're just here for a to-go coffee like I was - there's signage around, or at least was when I was there, that makes it seem like they only have table service, so I awkwardly saw at a table until they told me I could absolutely also order at the counter, especially if I was ordering to-go.

Start your day here. Food: My girlfriend worked through the benedicts, all solid. I stuck with the eggs and eggplant dish, which sounds odd but works and doesn't weigh you down for a day of walking and wine. Drinks: Excellent across the board. We're coming from Seattle with a former barista in the mix, and this didn't miss. Service: Consistently great. Smooth, attentive, no friction. Vibe: Worth showing up for on its own. We watched people stop, look in, and take photos. It has that pull. What could be better: Not much. It gets busy, and for good reason.
