What a lovely cafe! Loved the hazelnut toast, so much flavor and the jams were delicious! The orange juice and the chocolate cakes were great too! I don't think you can go wrong with this place. Great ambiance, great food and great service. Definitely check this place for lunch or brunch!

This place was very cozy with a lovely decor (reminded me of a chic NYC/Soho place) and the food was delicious. I ordered fresh squeezed juice (strawberry/orange) you can mix a variety of fruits together, a latte, a chicken sandwich (hard-boiled egg, arugula, tomatoes) and this came with a side of dressing and a shot of vegetable cream soup that was amazing! My friend ordered the almond/passion fruit chá ("tea" in Portuguese) which was fantastic, the honey, goat cheese, walnut, arugula crostada which the owner generously turned into a tostada, which also came with delicious potato chips. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and tasted organic. The owner was so friendly and attentive to her guests. Highly recommended this place! No need for reservations

I enjoyed my breakfast at this cute café and the price was quite good! The food is quite yummy but the toast a bit too buttery. Loved their cappuccino! So good and so pretty! The interior decor was really charming and the service quite good. The only thing was that they don't accept foreign credit card, so make sure that you bring your cash!

Great breakfast and the menu is just right, good price as well. Selection is different and very good flavor. Only takes cash.

The food is great and the space is cozy, but the service is super slow. After getting in, it took us ~35 minutes to start eating.

Go here! Try the club sandwich, it's so good! The service was very friendly and they obviously really care about everything they produce.

So I didn't try any of their *food* food, which seems to be a focus, but they're definitely providing a great service to anyone in the area who needs some quality morning coffee. 4 euro for an oat milk latte is a pretty great price, and it was a great latte. Since I was there and saw that they also sold pastries, I also got a filled croissant for 3 euro, which made a great breakfast - the croissant itself, honestly, was just good, but the cream filling was fantastic. p.s. if you're just here for a to-go coffee like I was - there's signage around, or at least was when I was there, that makes it seem like they only have table service, so I awkwardly saw at a table until they told me I could absolutely also order at the counter, especially if I was ordering to-go.

Start your day here. Food: My girlfriend worked through the benedicts, all solid. I stuck with the eggs and eggplant dish, which sounds odd but works and doesn't weigh you down for a day of walking and wine. Drinks: Excellent across the board. We're coming from Seattle with a former barista in the mix, and this didn't miss. Service: Consistently great. Smooth, attentive, no friction. Vibe: Worth showing up for on its own. The place was busy with guests and our server was nice, but a bit overwhelmed. It looked like they had too many tables to be serving to give the level of service they thought they were giving from a management perspective. We asked about the recommendations on their beef choices and our server tried her best to explain them. We opted for the T-Bone for two with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. The steak came and was beautiful. It was massive and pre-sliced off the bone-a nice touch. But as we made it through the steak, there was an inordinate amount of fat and especially gristle versus the meat for a T-Bone. What looked like it should be a "10" ended up being about a four. As for the side dishes, the mashed potatoes were truffled. I don't know if that was for panache or just because the spuds were kind of bland. The grilled vegetables were practically swimming in oil- so much so that you had difficulty putting your fork in some as they slipped away. There were no salads listed on the menu and I had to actually ask if there were any to be had. The server say there were and I ordered one that was nice. But I think (as I've seen in some Portuguese eateries) they downplay the salads because they'd rather not deal with them a la lazy. There were many other menu selections to be tried, but I didn't return for a second try. My impression was that they thought more of themselves than maybe they should and it probably applied to other entrees, etc as well.
