Watermelon ice tea and red velvet cake with ferrero rocher-topping.

I bet this is the biggest hipster place in Porto, but why care about that if they serve the absolute best homemade ice tea (in so many flavors!) and cakes? Exactly. They also speak very good English here, which isn't too common in Porto, but I wish it would have been a bit lighter inside.

Super cute and cozy café with great food, coffee, & chill vibes.

I read about this place on Trip Advisor before visiting. The ambiance is super cute and relaxing. There's a cute loft area upstairs that seems like a cool place to hang out. Their pastries and iced lattes were amazing, and the service was great! Definitely recommend stopping by and beating the crowds for Majestique Cafe!

Beautiful cafe! With it being rainy and chilly outside, I wanted somewhere to relax and found this gem. The store people are very friendly and were okay with my English. I got the blueberry tea for 1.3 euros, very delicious and warmed me up. There's locals mingling at the table, some studying on their laptops. There's also an upstairs area with sofa chairs. I love the vibes!

The upstairs loungy area is fantastic, especially if you get a chance to sit at the table right in front of the balcony

So I didn't try any of their *food* food, which seems to be a focus, but they're definitely providing a great service to anyone in the area who needs some quality morning coffee. 4 euro for an oat milk latte is a pretty great price, and it was a great latte. Since I was there and saw that they also sold pastries, I also got a filled croissant for 3 euro, which made a great breakfast - the croissant itself, honestly, was just good, but the cream filling was fantastic. p.s. if you're just here for a to-go coffee like I was - there's signage around, or at least was when I was there, that makes it seem like they only have table service, so I awkwardly saw at a table until they told me I could absolutely also order at the counter, especially if I was ordering to-go.

TL;DR: One of those rare places you build your day around…read more Coffee, food, and vibe all hit. When you're on vacation and keep thinking about a coffee shop, that's the signal. Start your day here. Food: My girlfriend worked through the benedicts, all solid. I stuck with the eggs and eggplant dish, which sounds odd but works and doesn't weigh you down for a day of walking and wine. Drinks: Excellent across the board. We're coming from Seattle with a former barista in the mix, and this didn't miss. Service: Consistently great. Smooth, attentive, no friction. Vibe: Worth showing up for on its own. We watched people stop, look in, and take photos. It has that pull. What could be better: Not much. It gets busy, and for good reason.
