Favorite cafe in Porto. The food is fresh and wonderful and so are the people who work there. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed to learn they are no longer open for breakfast so the Turkish eggs that are so highly reviewed are no longer available. We ordered the rigatoni and creamy rice. Both were good but not extremely noteworthy. If we was a nice touch of herbs in the creamy rice but too much mushroom.

I can't believe this cafe didn't have a yelp page before this! I'm so excited to be the first to review this place because i'm obsessed! A few friends recommended I come here and thank god they did because it is perfection. It is a cute, cozy, trendy cafe for breakfast/lunch/coffee and everything is locally and organically produced...need I say more? Oh and their WiFi password made me love it even more (it's Lorelei Gilmore!) and they have "the gentlewoman" magazines sprawled out along their "bar top" counter. Best place ever. I ordered the scrambled eggs with chive and parm and it was served on a piece of delicious bread, as well as an iced latte with oat milk. Everything was amazing! I can't say enough good things about this spot. It's adorable, the service was fantastic, and it's just a little slice of heaven in Porto. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Porto!

Love this place. Great buckwheat pancake, scrambled eggs in amazing sourdough, and Kalita pour over coffee.

We waited in a line for about 20 minutes for a seat, pretty close to closing time. Our friends who…read moreheard this were pretty surprised, as they encountered no line on a different day. Maybe we just got unlucky? The franceshinas were delicious, and really hit the spot for late-night food. The lombo de porco and bifa were both fantastic. It sort of reminded me of a Croque Monsieur, but also very different. I loved the Port wine-based sauce. Very saucy and soggy (in a good way). Service was a bit slow. We were worried about running into closing time, but it turns out they just don't accept new guests after closing. There's no rush to finish your meal if you're already inside.

Upon arriving, I realized I was learning Brazilian Portuguese which is slightly different from what was spoken here. I was hungry. It was dark out. I wanted to try a Francesinha. Then I found this place nearby and decided to order pick up because I was too nervous to eat there. Walked about and said Olá! The employee was so NICE. Gave me my order. Said a bunch of things in Portuguese super fast that I did not understand. I smiled. Nodded like an idiot. He smiled. Said enjoyed. I walked back to my Airbnb and opened my bag. The Francesinha looked divine. Took a bite. AMAZING. Took another bite. Fell in love. Took a third bite, this is not helping my high cholesterol for sure but I'm gonna keep eating. 5/5. Go here.

So I didn't try any of their *food* food, which seems to be a focus, but they're definitely providing a great service to anyone in the area who needs some quality morning coffee. 4 euro for an oat milk latte is a pretty great price, and it was a great latte. Since I was there and saw that they also sold pastries, I also got a filled croissant for 3 euro, which made a great breakfast - the croissant itself, honestly, was just good, but the cream filling was fantastic. p.s. if you're just here for a to-go coffee like I was - there's signage around, or at least was when I was there, that makes it seem like they only have table service, so I awkwardly saw at a table until they told me I could absolutely also order at the counter, especially if I was ordering to-go.

Start your day here. Food: My girlfriend worked through the benedicts, all solid. I stuck with the eggs and eggplant dish, which sounds odd but works and doesn't weigh you down for a day of walking and wine. Drinks: Excellent across the board. We're coming from Seattle with a former barista in the mix, and this didn't miss. Service: Consistently great. Smooth, attentive, no friction. Vibe: Worth showing up for on its own. We watched people stop, look in, and take photos. It has that pull. What could be better: Not much. It gets busy, and for good reason.
