The place is tastefully decorated with an inviting alpine feel. There is the option to go al la carte or choose one of their set menus which start at €59 for 4 courses. We went for the winter menu. To start I had the foie gras, always a favourite! Served with homemade bread. For main, the filet which I opted to have with the hollandaise sauce and triple cooked chips. The steak was amazing, so tender and the sauce perfect. This was then followed by a cheese selection then dessert, a chocolate mille feuille which was beautifully presented and tasted really good. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than lots of the Argentiere restaurants (although no more than the posher Chamonix places) but it's definitely worth it and I'd highly recommend a visit!

Everyone in our party selected the 'daily special' options including parsnip soup, and herring salad as 1st course, 2nd course options included iberico pork over mashed potatoe with drzzled glaze, and fillet durade over mashed parsnip.
