The night started off with patatas bravas and pan. They were the best patatas bravas I've ever had. They were perfectly fried and garnished with a delicate spicy mayo and hot sauce. The bread was served without being ordered. This was a little irritating at the end- each square was 5€ and the waiter started us off with two.
For my entrée I ordered the false risotto. If I based my review on strictly the entree I would've given this restaurant one star. It was overly salty to the point where it was a chore to eat this dish. I would've sent it back, but the waiter informed us that it would've taken another 20 minutes to prepare a new one. My friend got mixed vegetables which he enjoyed. They were paired with extremely unique sauces.
For dessert, my table ordered 'El Huevo'. It was white chocolate covered mousse with mango inside. The presentation was marvelous. It was shaped as an egg!
I would also give the service one star. Since it was close to impossible to flag down a waiter, my friend went up to him to ask for the check. After 20 minutes he forgot and we reminded him again. After 15 more minutes had passed we still didn't have the check. We reminded him again and finally after a total of 45 minutes to wait for JUST the check the waiter brought it to us. We double check the bill and realized the waiter had accidentally added an extra 16€ item to our check, so we had to flag him down again in order to get it changed. Maybe I would've been more fond of this restaurant if I had another waiter, but overall I was not impressed. read more
