A great experience. The staff was superb and helpful as we got set up for the artwork. They discussed our options, gave us pros and cons, and worked with us through the choices. The place is neat and clean and the prices are on par with what I would expect anywhere. Our artist, Cody, was awesome - professional and courteous. I'd definitely let him do more work in the future! read more

Got in super quickly. Super clean, professional studio. Paperwork was easy to follow. Enjoyed my first tattoo experience with Chris. Super chill, and I think he knew I probably needed to talk to stay relaxed. Care instructions were given. Wasn't expecting to pay $$$ for an inch square line drawing but they have a $100 minimum. read more

"After 4 visits to Tattoo Forever and a failed cover-up appointment with the owner at Defiance Tattoo, I can honestly say this was one of the most unprofessional tattoo experiences I've ever had." Review of Tattoo Forever & Defiance Tattoo (Fort Walton Beach, FL) I would not recommend Tattoo Forever or Defiance Tattoo based on my direct experiences. Both visits left me disappointed, and because the same owner also operates Tattoo Zoo, I personally would not go there either--due to the overall lack of professionalism and the way situations were handled at his other shops. In January, my husband and I got matching tattoos at Tattoo Forever. Mine was done by Aaron, a newer artist (about 1.5 years of experience), and I was unhappy with the result. This was actually my 4th time at Tattoo Forever, so I came in as a loyal, returning customer and expected to be treated as such. Instead, it took a lengthy amount of time for the shop to even attempt to resolve the situation, and weeks before I was finally placed into contact with the owner, Pat ("Impala Pat" on Instagram). My appointment with Pat at Defiance Tattoo--my first time at that shop--was not scheduled until March. When I finally showed up for the arranged appointment, he was late, and I spent about 1.5-2 hours there only to realize he had no intention of following through. Instead of doing the tattoo as he had promised, he ultimately placed the blame back on me. At first glance, he said adding a missing letter would "fix" things--even though I had already explained I was unhappy with the entire piece. When I pointed out that the stencil he placed was crooked, he became defensive and, instead of troubleshooting solutions like he should have, spent more time trying to convince me to go to another artist. He even told me to "try them first" and then come back to him if it didn't work, which made it obvious he never intended to do the cover-up. After I left, he went further by trying to blame me for why the tattoo wasn't what I wanted--on top of all the manipulation and dismissive behavior I had already experienced. What frustrated me most was how I was treated by both shops. Tattoo Forever dragged out the process instead of resolving things quickly, and Pat, the owner, showed zero accountability when I finally met with him. As a returning customer, I was not valued or respected. And as a military spouse, I found his behavior especially disappointing--considering how strongly he markets himself as a veteran and "supporter of the military community." His actions didn't match his words. Between the lack of accountability, the delay in resolution, and the terrible customer service, this was one of the most unprofessional tattoo experiences I've ever had. I left not only disappointed, but disgusted. This review is long past due, but after all the mental exhaustion from dealing with this process, I'm only just now getting around to it. Ultimately, I'm writing it because I'm still bothered by how everything was handled and knew I needed to put it out publicly. I cannot recommend Tattoo Forever, Defiance Tattoo, or any other shop connected to this owner. read more

I visited Tattoo's Forever in January 2013 for a cover up of 4 empty red hearts over my left side of my chest. When I walked in I was greeted by a very nice floor manager named Dan. He was very energetic and caring. It was a great feeling to get when your going to get permanent ink done on your body. I told Dan I wanted a wicked new school tattoo with mainly flowers for my cover up. So Dan let Albert know so he can get the drawing ready for when I come back. When I came back for my appointment Albert shows me two roses, just two plain roses. I was surprised because he has a very good portfolio with interesting drawings. So I told him I wanted a crazy wicked new school design and after a little bit he came back with nice hibiscus flowers and leaves. I agreed with it only because he was going to do bright wicked colors. So having this finalized the cost came to $400 w/ 10% Facebook discount equalling $360 which is kind of high for how small it was but he charged more for the covering up. So the process began and it was nice but obviously with pain. 3 hours later he is done and I was just in awe! Finally it was covered up with a little bit showing but your eyes had to search. I actually got a piercing also since they did a great job overall with the tattoo and service. WELL lets get to a week later... Finally the tattoo is healing nicely and I had a stranger point out my cover up. I was shocked and then more people could see the old tattoo shining through. I was devastated! Such a beautiful tattoo but not a good cover up. So I went back and it was a different guy at the front. He seemed less interested in helping me compared to Dan. Well I told him my situation and showed him and he lies right to my face " I can't see it." We'll guys I have a photo for you to prove I am not joking about this shenanigans. Anyways they said Albert doesn't get in till around 4pm so come back and talk to him about fixing the situation. I come back and guess what... Albert can't see me not even for one second to care for his tattoo he branded on me. He just started with a new client while I was there so I'm not sure to blame him 100% but the other floor guy for not letting Albert know ahead of time. I was pretty upset that I knew I was getting screwed. Let me tell you another reason why, its because I was visiting family in Florida for a couple weeks and that I live in Australia. I was coming back to Florida in 9 months. So I really didn't have time to just come back in a month... So the floor guy said that I should come back when I'm back in Florida (9 months) and they will fix it. They wouldn't give me a card of Alberts because they were "all out". So I have 3 more months till I get back to Florida and I am really debating on doing business with them. I may have made the mistake even giving them business in the first place. To sum this all up... Inconsistent customer service, no concern for after care from artist, and tattoo prices can be high. I would not recommend to fellow tatted friends. read more

To my knowledge there is a new owner. I understand just getting a business together and the struggles that come but there were many things I had issues with: 1) The receptionist did not seem committed. She was more focused on her chicken strips than helping and did not have the bathroom stocked. Seems petty but, come on people. Also, when I was trying to discuss the tattoo with the artist another lady kept coming up to interrupt just to show stupid memes to the artist. No professionalism at all. 2) I wanted a black octopus with it inking the galaxy below. Well, it's awful. The shading is inconsistent, you can visibly see the lines where he was filling in so it's incomplete, basically. (Photo below) 3) After my tattoo was done, the owner came over chatting and started drawing a "swoctopus" and road runner with a swastika. Absolutely inappropriate. 4) I should have known to go somewhere else when I was told there are no portfolios (receptionist complained she wasn't given any to put together since they're new). So you are given an artist and have to trust their skills. The owner and artist are extremely nice so I feel bad leaving this review but I want people to know my experience. I haven't gotten a tattoo in 11 years and this deterred me and now I have to pay to go get it fixed. read more

Both my husband and I have gotten tattoos here with Reanna. The great experience begins with Jordan, he seriously has the best personality. He was so fun to talk with concerning our ideas and was beyond helpful. My husbands experience was great. It was quick, looks amazing, and he's already planning his next one. My experience was better than I was expecting. It was my first tattoo and Reanna made me feel so comfortable. She was kind enough to take breaks when I needed them and didn't make me feel even slightly bad when I got light headed. Her work is beautiful, she took the idea in my mind and made it even more amazing than I imagined it. I can't recommend this shop enough. read more

Tattoos Forever is a really great place to get a tattoo. I got my first tattoo this week & it is absolutely fantastic; more realistic than I ever imagined! Curt blew it out of the water by far exceeding any other artist's work displayed anywhere on the internet or in society in general. He is talented & gifted beyond words. He talked me through everything making it a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend Curt for any tattoo you may dream of. Also, Jordan is fantastic at the reception area & answers any questions you may have with thorough explanations & expertise. I love my tattoo & will display it proudly as it is a true work of art by an exceptional artist. I have gotten 14 piercings, 2 transdermals, and two tattoos from the piercer Gentle Jordan, and the tattoo artist Justin. I could not be more pleased. Seriously, Gentle Jordan is honest and blunt in the best way possible. Jeremy, well. He came up with a great idea for the paws on my hands he did and executed it perfectly. I visited Tattoos Forever about a week ago wanting to get a cover up for a tattoo on my arm. I was a bit nervous because the last tattoo I got (at a different shop) didn't come out the way I expected, and for the price I paid I was disappointed. Anyway, I was greeted by Sheila who was extremely pleasant and informed. I later spoke with Albert and we agreed upon a price and a piece. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend him to anyone I know. His work area is clean, he was not pushy at all, and that was much appreciated. Best tattoo shop in all of Okaloosa county. The quality of service, customer service, and experience was far above par and exceeded any expectations I had for a tattoo shop while getting my first tattoo. Not sure why other reviewers are giving this shop such a bad name, but they are wrong and this place is amazing. Brad was able to take my idea, mold it to my liking and give me a tattoo that is perfect. Highly recommended. read more

I'm one of Jordan's repeat customers. Jordan pierced both my nose and helix. He was very polite and courteous on both occasions. Once in the piercing room, Jordan explained the procedure each time to make me as comfortable as possible. The room was clean and organized, there was also an autoclave in the room...which made me feel better. The piercing instruments were sealed in a sterile package with visual indicators to ensure sterility. My piercings were done in April/Oct 2019...and I've had no issues with either of them. He is most definitely my "go to " guy if I ever decide to get additional piercings. read more

First tattoo experience was amazing! I felt at home from the moment I walked in the door, everyone was so helpful and patient with my indecisiveness. I got my first tattoo from Will for my 18th birthday and I love it! However, Will was pretty rude about everything and didn't even explain any aftercare. The only time he actually talked to me was to criticize the design I wanted and the meaning behind it. I felt pretty judged and not taken seriously. His tattoo work is amazing, don't get me wrong, but his customer service could be improved. I also got my cartilage pierced from Gentle Jordan and he's awesome! He's the nicest and most gentle piercer and also explained to me the aftercare for both piercing and tattoo. read more

I received the two worst tattoos I own. From an artist that works at this place. Name Albert. I'm stuck with the two worst Tattoos Forever. I hope this will suffice, Yelp. These are facts. Not unbiased reviews. If you choose to get a forever piece of art on your Dermis by this guy don't be upset. I warned you. The owner of this store keeps calling yelp and complaining. Due to the one star. I assume he wants to be the number one butterfly tattoo parlor in Florida. Well done. I feel that the consumer deserves to know the product this establishment puts out. Hey owner, instead of getting irate and defensive maybe you should've offered to make it right. That's what I would have done. That's what a successful public establishment does. Just to info you. In case you've never heard that before. If you complain again. I'll post pictures for you. Don't think you want that. read more

I've never had a tattoo before and was looking for a place that was clean, looked like a nice reputable place and I could see previous work from the artists. I was very nervous to do one at any location not just this one. I looked thru Alberts work on their Facebook page and then again when I got to the shop. Jordan spent alot of time with my friends and I to determine what exactly I wanted. He was great and then we came back on Wednesday for the actual tattoo. I had made a few changes to my idea by then and Albert was awesome to keep changing my design and he also even colored some in so I could see what it would look like. He was very professional and kind and I am really happy with my first tattoo. Granted, it is healing so we will see in a few weeks but right now, he did a great job! read more
