He decided he wanted Ft Walton Beach on his forearm and I decided I should get a cute little something too! After all it's not fair only he gets new ink. After looking on yelp for places we stopped at Sail Away second and we immediately felt comfortable. We were introduced to Joe and liked him. Even though he's a Raiders fan! Told him what my husband wanted and made an appointment (for a Sunday a normal closed day) made our deposit and left. My husband sent him a cute little mermaid tattoo I wanted but with a few changes. Normally I feel tattoo shops can cause a high level of anxiety but this place, complete opposite! Then there was the guy at the counter who greeted us, very personable, very nice and straight up, someone you can easily relate to who keeps it real. He quoted prices for us that were easily the most reasonable that we'd gotten, that's out of 6 other shops we went to!! We'd picked out some basic beach tattoos we had settled on, for a souvenir of a vacation of sorts. We got an appointment for the next day and when we showed back up we were so very pleasantly surprised with what the artist came up with, he added his own flare and made what we brought to him a thousand times better to where we actually fell in love with the tattoos. She was no nonsense (how I like 'em) and was very helpful. We drew up my tat about 6 times before we got it just how I wanted it. She was super patient with me, very informative, and gentle. While I chose to get my tattoo in a very delicate area (the ribs) her touch was as light as a feather. For about 20 characters it took 45 minutes, and I didn't bleed. Lee even gave my pale, shaking ass a piece of gum afterwards. :) Its cash only, and as the sign says 'use the atm before you start', "we trust in god, all else pay cash." Super friendly staff who made my 5 hour experience a great one. **WORDS OF ADVICE*** pay attention. Make sure you've spelled everything correctly and your artist has too. Its easy to forget a letter here or there... so check, bring a friend, and recheck. :) God bless spell check. ------- Also there is a snow cone stand next door that has, yes snow cones er balls... and they also have soft serve which is super helpful after an endorphin draining ordeal that is getting a tattoo.

His shop is so clean and comfortable. His work is amazing. He's a quiet guy but he's got jokes. He's always willing to add an eye patch or LV Raiders tattoo to anything he does.
