The guy who did it was very rude and the whole time had a random girl whom he knew just hanging out and talking the whole time and anytime I try to ask if I could take a small break , I was often ignored. And once I joined their conversation and they both went silent like I had cursed their existence or something. Thought the whole thing was super unprofessional, and unwelcoming. I don't expect them to totally converse with me but when I spoke it was so unwelcome. I have never suggested this place to anyone nor have I blasted them to anyone. Just wanted to mentioned not being an a hole goes a long way. Never will go back.

We enjoyed our experience so much my hubby ended up getting one too. I went in with an idea in my head and Manny was able to sketch it up for me and turn my tattoo I have had in my head for twenty years into a piece of art on my arm that I shall enjoy for a lifetime. Same for my husband. The place was clean, not "scary" looking at all. The staff was friendly, and went out of their way to show us the sealed needle packs and explain how things are kept sterile. When we show up I'm just expecting to get in and out and be fixed. Kylie kept judging the person who pierced my nose (who is a professional piercer and the most recommend one where I live) and was judging me for my situation. Highly unprofessional in my opinion because it wasn't advice it was judgment. My boyfriend and I were thinking about making an appointment for tattoos later in the week but won't be anymore because of her attitude towards me.

I somehow find myself in a position to defend myself here. Here's my story: I recently celebrated my 50th birthday. I have never had a tattoo and I've been thinking about it for a few years now. I decided that that's what I wanted for my 50th birthday. My husband and I attended the Mill Casino's high tide tattoo and art festival at the end of April, after looking at different artists work and styles. I decided to reach out to 11:11 tattoo studio here in Coos Bay to schedule for my first tattoo ever!! I had a design picked out, text it to them and ask if this is something they would be interested in doing for me. My response was "we gotcha". In the initial conversation I asked for the design to be personalized by adding a couple names in there, my husband and two kids, the text I received back was "awesome sounds good". I was then scheduled for a consult and to put a deposit down to reserve a time slot. Upon arrival the shop was in disarray as they were just moving into a new space. No worries, we've all been there. After being ignored for what felt like several minutes I was then asked what I was there for. Dustan was completely unprepared for my consult as he stated "I didn't know I had an appointment today". We had a brief conversation, I put down a deposit and off I went. I reached out to the shop, via text, June 19 asking if, or when I could preview my design after it was personalized. My response was "they're all custom, and you'll have a preview ready for you when you come in for your appointment", followed by "we do previews the day of and if changes need to be made, will do them then". I mistakenly stopped in on Friday, August 11 thinking that I had an appointment. I was disappointed to learn I had my dates wrong and had to wait until Monday, the 14th for my art. So, I show up on Monday super nervous, and I get to preview what's going on my body PERMANENTLY, like FOREVER!!! So the design is slightly different than the original I submitted, and I said nothing, after looking at it for a moment, I said "what about the names we talked about?" Dustin's demeanor totally changed. He then said "you know I'm going to respectfully decline this appointment, I spent a lot of time on this design, I'll be right back, I'm going to get your deposit back for you". I stood there, completely silent, shocked, and thought wait, what? True to his word he gave me my deposit back, I said nothing and went to exit the front door as I heard him say to the young lady at the front counter "hey babe, do you want to get tattooed today? I don't want to waste my day" I got in the car with tears of disappointment and frustration running down my face and drove home. I vented my feelings to my family, and was completely prepared to call that closure, as if it was just not meant to be... Right up until I saw his Instagram post last night, really.... Me, a bad attitude, and a sense of entitlement??? Wow! I'm just an average 50 year old woman with a passion for family, friends, and fun. The artists near…read moreme either charge way too much, or they have poor communication skills and you're not really satisfied with your tattoo. For today's project, I've had this tattoo that I've wanted fixed for years, and have had people tell me "you need laser removal first" or "it can't be fixed". Flynn cleaned it up, as you can see by the picture, and made it look like the way I originally wanted it. We discussed 30's and 40's style artwork, and it came together from there. Great communication resulted in a great session. I'm very happy with the work that was done today. If you want a new tattoo, or have one that needs a touch-up, go to Subdermal. They're very friendly and you'll get the tattoo that you want.

Spent $450 here on an arm piece and decided not to finish it because of Unprofessional artists,…read morereceptionist, and weird vibes. overall just not good people and if you think they are it's a façade. I tried called in about my stomach issues, and the shop wouldn't answer so I emailed Dominic (supposedly the best way to get ahold of him) and didn't answer for 5 days then once I finally got ahold of the receptionist or somebody to get this sorted out Dominic tried to call me a no show and booked me another one. Whatever, I was hoping my stomach would make it but it didn't and I've been puking for almost 24 hours straight. How would I make it into a damn shop after all that? I don't even think that's legal. Thought my fiancé could call and possibly communicate but no the receptionist got her ego hurt and tried to say my fiancé was yelling. And that's anything but the truth. I don't think she knows what yelling is haha. I tried and I really wanted to finish it. But not anymore. isn't worth being treated like a dog.

I had a tattoo done back in December. The tattoo is crooked. The lining is really uneven. He…read moretouched it up but you can't fix a crooked tattoo and even with touch up it still healed patchy and uneven. He was so heavy handed that through the initial tattoo and the touch up it scabbed over and caused major damage. I gave him that opportunity to fix it once but I'm not going to drive all the way up there to let him do it again. I'd rather just take it to another artist at this point. My tattoo was so simple, just lines and some color, like compared to his portfolio this should have been a sinch. It makes me wonder how anyone got anything with shading and detail and my simple lining filled in with a few colors turned out so horribly. I spent 3 hours in the chair for a tattoo that should have taken a half an hour because he simply could not figure out where he wanted to put the tattoo to begin with, he put the tracer on, removed it, put it on again, removed it, over and over for about 30 mins alone. And it's still completely crooked. This was something I wanted to cover up pain with beauty and it meant a lot to me and I am so unhappy that I have to wear this splotchey, uneven, crooked tattoo for the rest of my life.
