I have never gotten a tattoo in England because most tattoos I see on the British do not look very professional. I was taken by surprise when I saw Kevin's work, and I immediately knew he was the man to tattoo my wedding ring onto my ring finger. I gave Kevin very little information about myself and left him alone on his creative intelligence. I am so glad that I did because he drew the most beautiful design. Two hearts intertwined with the first letter of my husband's name in between the two hearts. The tattoo design was beautiful and the tattoo itself very beautiful. I have four years of work I have been saving to get done in the States because I don't trust anyone to tattoo my body here in the UK, but I have found this jewel in Beck Row who I trust and who does amazing work. I will be coming to Kevin again soon with the rest of the bits I want on my body. He charges £50 a hour which is really good because of the high grade work and professionalism of his craft. There are a lot of experienced experts in here offering a range of skills and styles so you can find something you want and have confidence that it will turn out well. Hygiene levels are really important in here too which adds to the comfort value. Pricing all depends on what you want done and where, or if you want custom works you usually pay a little more. There is a really nice, relaxed and friendly vibe in here too which is always a bonus when having a tattoo done.

I had some old rubbish tattoos that I had done as a youngster that I wished to be covered over with fresh ink. I couldn't have chosen more wisely. Gordon Shepherd the Manager/owner of the Top Gun Empire is a real expert at covering up old tattoos. His skills are second to none,its as if he could cover black with white!! He is a good sport too, he enjoys a good old laugh whilst he skilfully works, but he never deviates from doing a professional job. The shops other main tattooist is Tori Austin she is brilliant too, her line work is amazing and she can freehand some unbelievable creations. The atmosphere in this shop is cosy and almost family like, they go out of there way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, they understand that a tattoo is for some a nerve racking experience and really do go the extra mile for any of their customers. It was quick, NEAT, clean, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place and tell my friends. also I had a great chat with my tattoo artist to help ease my fears and get my mind off of it. Also she refused to start unless I was 100% satisfied with the location and sketch of it...that was nice :)
