He also was very open to any changes and tweaks that I wanted incorporated. The session took about 6.5 hours and John made sure we took a decent amount of breaks. He was very meticulous and overall, I was extremely satisfied with the completed art piece. The tattoo shop was also very clean and everyone was professional and very friendly. 10/10 and I will definitely be going back for more work!

On the way we passed by Dragonland Tattoo and decided to walk in and see what it's like. As soon as we walked in you could tell it was a reputable shop. The wall was covered in Best Of and NTA awards. I've been wanting to get a star tattoo for a few years now and was surprised to find that they could get me in pretty much right away, so I figured what the heck let's do it! I got a quarter size outline of a star on my right wrist and it took all of 30 minutes from when we walked in just to check it out to walking out with my tat exactly how I had imagined :) My niece's boyfriend got a rose tattoo on his forearm and was able to get in right after me. Our artist Dustin was awesome and eased my tattoo anxiety, making my experience go much more smoothly than my overthinking brain expected. I would encourage an appointment and consultation for most tattoos as we got small, simple ones that didn't really require one. I will definitely be back if I work up the courage to start the sleeve tattoo I've been thinking about getting. I would highly recommend Dragonland Tattoo, 5 stars from us!!!

Communication was prompt, professional, and friendly throughout the entire process. I came in with my own custom design, and Sitthixay brought it to life with incredible precision and attention to detail. The final result exceeded my expectations. The experience didn't end when the tattoo was finished. I kept Sitthixay updated over the next few days as it healed, and they continued to be responsive and genuinely interested in how everything was progressing. The timing made this tattoo even more meaningful. It honors Prince as we mark 10 years since his passing, and getting it in June in downtown Minneapolis, just a short walk from First Avenue and Prince's mural, made the experience unforgettable. I decided to have it done in the Twin Cities instead of California where I am from. Thank you, Sitthixay, for your exceptional craftsmanship and professionalism. I couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a talented tattoo artist.

The place is centrally located, a nice space, easy walk from many downtown hotels. I set up an appointment by email and deposit. They were very responsive and helpful. My artist was DeonTre. Can't say anything but good about him. If you are looking for someone easy going and detail oriented he is your man. I highly recommend taking a look at his work on Instagram, he has talent. One of the things I enjoy about getting tattoos from various artists, each comes with a different vibe. Each artist gives you a small glimpse into their life story. DeonTre clearly is somebody that is worthy of knowing. Even just a short period with him, I found him to be sharp, engaging and interesting. But importantly, I was there for a tattoo, he delivered a detailed carefully constructed badge to my collection. Great experience, nice shop. Check it out.

This is extremely disappointing and irritating. Having 2 people work on one leg will not look the same. I do not recommend getting tattooed by Randsome for large pieces because he will not finish them.

I chose David Dettloff - he owns the place, is a true artist, and has a wait list to match it. He also chooses the projects he will work on, so after emailing back and forth we found out we both have a love for Nina Simone which was the portrait I wanted. Not only is he worth the wait (he did most of the portrait freehand and it's gorgeous) he has now wrecked me in that no one else may tattoo me in the future except him. On their website and socials they mentioned they work to take any walk-ins, which I really appreciated. The day I decided on was quite a snowy day so I wasn't sure if they were still open. With a quick call, I was able to determine they were still open and had time to fit me in before close that day. Matt was the piercer and was friendly and professional. He answered any questions I had and made the experience easy in a comfortable atmosphere. I had my eye on a specific piece of jewelry for the piercing, which wasn't available, but I was shown several other titanium options to pick from and easily found one I liked. The piercing process was smooth and didn't hurt near as much as I thought it was going to. After the piercing, I was even shown a bit of the process to change the color of titanium piercings, which was neat to see. If you want different color jewelry, I'd definitely recommend asking about it. Very comfortable, clean, and friendly environment to get a piercing!
