Food 4/5 - Ordered baked pork chop rice, house special string bean, steamed cod with black bean sauce, and 3 meat delicacy platter (roasted duck, char siu bbq pork, royal chicken). Baked pork chop rice is good, pork chop is a good cut without being too fatty, and the fried rice inside is good. House special string beans has good "wok-hei". Steamed cod with black bean sauce is good but a little bit oily. 3 meat delicacy platter, the duck and the royal chicken is good. The char siu could be better, as the portion we got was very tender, however the flavor was good. Price $$ - Price is fair with the portions that were served. Service 3/5 - Service is average, they made a round to refill our waters. Ambiance 4/5 - Interior is good with Chinese themed decor. Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.

We normally come to this place for Togo after shopping at Tokyo central. The food is good with reasonable portion and prices.

We came here for their afternoon tea specials! It's a great deal! We ordered the following, 1. roasted duck and cha siu vermicelli, 2. stirred fried seafood udon 3. stirred fried beef rice noodles 4. ground pork and egg over rice (forgot to take a picture of this one) 5. French toast ($4 only if you ordered $40 worth of food), 6. red beans with milk ice drink. ( they also included drink with every dish) All the food was pretty good overall. I would rate it 3.5 stars for taste of food. but up the .5 for the very reasonable price and good service. I would definitely come back again!!

I googled for any TSC locations on my way home. Bingo! There is one TSC in West Covina right next to Tokyo Central. I was on my way... I phoned in my order for a few dishes for both my daughters and me. My youngest daughter loves their Shredded Pork Chow Mein (crispy style) and BBQ Pork Chow Mein (dry style). They both tasted delicious. I got my eldest daughter one of her favorites, Honey Walnut Shrimp. Tons of big shrimps, but too much mayonnaise. I had the Taishan Chinese Broccoli wth Fish Filet. Lots of broccoli and fish filet with great flavor and taste. I love eating it with white rice! Parking is plenty. Good and bright inside space. They also have a BBQ deli. Staff was friendly. Prices were a tad higher than norm. My order was ready upon arrival so no wait time except for paying the bill. I was in and out of here under 5 minutes. Fantastic! I will be back. Thank you TSC!

HK Macau Bistro II seems to have remodeled the former Tam's Noodle House while keeping the same ownership. The restaurant was freezing cold while the staff wore their uniform t-shirt and some opted to wear gloves. Opted for the satay beef Nissin noodles and it was tasty. The satay beef may have been undercooked and/or gone bad, resulting in a bathroom visit. The breakfast combo came with stir-fried eggs along with a dinner roll which were decent. The hot milk tea was tasty. ~$12/head after tax and gratuity for breakfast.

The breakfast specials are a really good deal- I got combo F with pork chop/egg/pineapple bun burger and congee for 13.99. Don't be fooled by how plain the congee looks when they serve it- it still has a great savory flavor! Portions are big and they give free drink refills. If you order the hot milk tea/milk tea, disclaimer it's HK style so comes unsweetened and you can sweeten it to your personal taste with the condensed milk or sugar on the table. Service is also super quick so you'll be in and out of there, can probably even stop by if you're in a little rush. In total we spent about 35 min from being seated to finishing our meal and stepping out the door.

We shared the pork and egg congee with chow mein, lemon iced tea, and added an order of Chinese donut. The food was delicious. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the congee. It was very thick, which is how I like it. It also had plenty of pork and preserved eggs. The congee was well seasoned. The chow mein was tasty as well. The Chinese donut was served nice and hot. I ate some with my congee and saved the rest for dessert with condensed milk. I hope the quality of food never changes. This place remains a great, affordable Hong Kong style breakfast spot.

This is one of our family favorites when we're craving some delicious HK food in the Rowland area…read more It's located in the old 99 cent plaza on the corner of Nogales/Colima at the very end. The parking is VERY bad here but you'll find parking if you go farther towards the supermarket side. Yes there is always a wait here especially on peak weekend hours but the lines move very fast. You do ideally need a mandarin/cantonese speaking person however since majority of the staff don't speak english if you need help. The menu is huge with all your traditional HK cafe foods including a separate breakfast and lunch menu. The must have beginner items are the Iced Lemon Tea or the HK Milk Tea. They have changed the policy so you only get ONE refill now then you'll be charged for the 2nd refill! There on-going promotion is BOGO 1/2 steamed chicken or add $3 if you want soy sauce chicken. A very common deal in the rowland area however this place isn't the BEST for steam chicken since its abit lacking in meat and flavor buts till a good deal for larger parties. The other go-to items here are the walnut shrimp, french style filet mignon, egg plant with garlic sauce casserole. Get the short rib version if you want more protein! All of these dishes are super authentic and delicious and very consistent every time! There are secret menu items not on the menu like the stir fry two types of noodle with salted vermicelli(咸魚肉片炒雙麵/炒雙營). It's a classic HK dish with thin egg noodle and chow mein noodle mixed together. This chow mein becomes super crispy while the egg noodle remains soft. The saltiness of the salted fish goes great as the main carb. The service here is great with very attentive waiters. Yes you need to be aggressive to get there attention like at all Cantonese restaurants! This place is great for small groups to very large parties since they large tables and even private rooms available too.

I ordered the 鮮蝦餛飩湯麵 / shrimp wonton noodle soup ($13.99). This took about 15 minutes to arrive; when it did, it arrived piping hot. The noodles had decent spring and texture despite being thin. The wontons also had silky wrappers, but crucially didn't rip or disintegrate. The fillings also had properly flavorful and plump shrimp bits - no filler. The stock was also rich. This was textbook execution. In Cantonese fashion, the simplicity belies the execution and attention to detail. Note that the breakfast menu entrees include one hot drink (coffee, milk tea, HK style coffee & tea, Chinese tea, or lemon tea). 1 refill only, +$1.99 for cold drinks, +$1 for to-go cups.

It's essentially the same food, except they serve more fusion items (ie Italian style pastas & pizzas). Getting here to dine in is an adventure in itself. It's located in Diamond Plaza and parking is never fun coming here. We were actually able to find a spot not too far away so we lucked out. I headed in first to get a table because I saw a bunch of people standing out the door, and when I told the host that i needed wheelchair accessible seating, he immediately let me sit at the side table by the restroom, which was perfect and had plenty of room for my son to roll to. At these establishments you usually don't get good service, and my expectations were low, but the service we received was surprisingly great!! Our host/server was super attentive and came by a lot. He even gave us complimentary soup (menu said the soup is $2.50 with your meal)! There are over 137 items on the menu so there is plenty to choose from. We ordered: Create Your Own pizza Yang Chow Fried Rice Grilled Chicken Steak w/ Black Pepper Sauce Sweet &Sour Pork Rib HK style Most everything we had was good. Nothing super special, but standard HK style cafe good. The pizza was disappointing. Maybe I should've ordered their menu pizzas instead of creating my own. The toppings I picked were ok (the turkey on the pizza was deli sandwich slices), but the tomato sauce base was too thick and acidic, which kind of ruined the pizza for us. I don't think they used a proper pizza sauce, it lacked any seasoning or depth, and tasted like tomato sauce straight from a can. The pizza crust was pretty good, but honestly I can make a better pizza than this at home. Next time I'm back, I'm just going to stick to the usual cafe foods.
