Indian Garlic Bread!
Antoinette C.

YUMMY YUM YUM YUMMY!!!!!! Oh my goodness what a find! We went yesterday and ordered a large. Half 3 idiots half Hero and got a side of Indian Garlic Bread. Every single bite was amazing. I have never said this about food before. I hate bell peppers, onions and tomatoes on my pizza. The Hero has all of those ingredients and more and I have to say that I can never go back to Italian pizza again!!!! It was flavorful and the chicken remained as juicy as ever. All of the ingredients are under cheese, but boy oh boy this cheese is so tasty! I barely made it home without having a slice! The next morning my mom and sister had a slice and they have decided that we are having this pizza for dinner tonight! I had some for lunch and almost fell out like a Southern Church Lady. This is impossible! How is pizza better the next day!? Even the garlic bread was better! Run, don't walk to Tasty Indian Pizza! Please don't suck Fairfield. We need to keep this place in business!

The Yelp hiatus has been broken! Dear me-oh-my, it's taken an Indian Pizza place to break my silence. People have told me about an Indian pizza place in Berkeley but but I doubted their suggestions. I didn't want to drive all the way out there for an Indian Pizza that I was full heartily suspicious about. But alas! Fairfield has opened a flavor that many others would wonder too! Have you ever sat down and wondered what would happen if you took naan bread, slathered it in butter chicken sauce, top it with chicken, and other veggies? Well, my friend, it's heavenly. Easy to eat, great for those that haven't tried Indian food, and relatively light on the pocket (There's a coupon on the back of their current menu for a large). They've got so many other flavors of pizza here that you're constantly taunted to come back and try another pie. Note to self: Limit myself to one pizza per week. 'Cause if I don't, I'd probably come here like three times (wish a Snorlax would pop up for me here). I was curious with the Hero Pizza (Butter Chicken) and their Spicey Butter Chicken, so I went half and half large. Myself, I prefer spice - however, my husband, he's the latter. The service there was super nice. The guys were social and the young lady at the register was friendly. You can tell that they're still trying to iron out their "Just opened" kinks but I'm pretty sure they'll get the ball rolling. The cooks were constantly prepping and baking (which came to show how many people have ordered within the ten minutes of my wait). People came and went, phone ordered, and online ordered. Pizza delivery guy was there one minute, gone the next, and back again. The store is small. There's no indoor eating but there it a bench inside for those that have to wait. But dear God, when I received the pizza the smell was so tantalizing I honestly wanted to eat a slice on the way home (we were also poke stop hunting). When we got home, we were kinda confused with which side was original vs the spicy flavor. With a nice long look, the side with the jalapeno peppers was mine and the other half was my hubbies. I LOVED IT. I added some dry peppers to the top and I was in a heaven. The spice was amazing and the flavor was awesome for a pizza. My husband (surprisingly) preferred the spicy Butter Chicken. They have so much more than just Indian Pizza. They also provide the typical Italian flavors, they have Indian subs (***), Indian appetizers, and a small selection of sodas. BTW, the pokestop is too far from the joint. I bought the pizza yesterday, posted it on Facebook a minute after getting it, and have been telling everyone about it since then. But now... I have no more pizza left and I'm now a sad panda. Maybe I'll order a personal pizza later today (snooorrrlaaaxxxx status).

Missing the chicken but super tasty 3 Idiots spicy butter chicken.

Very tasty pizza, great execution of the "fusion". I would have given five stars, but they left the chicken off of my spicy butter chicken pizza . Still super good, and the chicken wings were spicy and flavorful.

Don't think I'll be coming back here. $20 dollar pizza that's more of cheese pizza with onions and tomatoes . The other is butter cilantro stems.. Where the chicken at?

Half Saag, half Pav Bhaji. The left side was devoured in seconds. The right side took a bit little longer.

You combine two of my favorite foods into one and you have a five star hit on your hands. I love Indian food and I love pizza, so naturally I would love Tasty Indian Pizza, right? Well yes, and no. The pizza here is great. In fact maybe the best crust around. Soft, crispy, crunchy. I could probably eat this stuff plain and it would be good enough. Unfortunately that's almost what you have to do. I don't get that warm 'n fuzzy feeling here when trying to order a Vegan pie. Not everyone working here knows what is and isn't Vegan. The first gentlemen I spoke to appeared to be a manager or someone in charge. He suggested the Saag and Pav Bhaji as the two best choices if you're trying to stay dairy free. Since their regular red pizza sauce contains parmesan and most of their other sauces seem to contain dairy as well. He did offer to make a red sauce without cheese but I didn't want to bother him. The next time I stopped in there was a young lady that didn't understand why I didn't want red sauce or cheese on my pizza. They could save everyone some headache by placing a "V" next to the pizzas that can be made Vegan, or at the very least listing their ingredients so that everyone can make their own informed decisions. As it turned out, neither of these pizzas need cheese or red sauce to taste spectacular. The Saagar is particular tasty. They are more than happy to sell you a half and half pizza but I will most likely only order the Saagar from now on. It's one of the single best pizzas in the Bay Area. The Pav Bhaji is a little on the dry side, probably due to the lack of cheese. I usually gussie it up at home with Cocksauce or ranch and it's good to go Of course at home is where you'll be eating it since this isn't a dine in restaurant. It's strictly carry-out or delivery. This is fine by me if it keeps the prices low. Their "grand opening specials" that they've been having for the past 5-6 months since they opened are a great deal. You'll usually walk away with two large pizzas for $20 something dollars. Their regular price as printed on the menu would make me less likely to visit very often. Overall, cheap pizza, perfect crust, but only one really good choice. Four stars overall. I'm a fan but I seriously want to love it.

Pizza!

I think I was the first to ever review this place and the owner is/was great haven't seen him last few times I've been in. Last few times I've visited it was pretty bad, messed up my order, and not quality it used to be. Sadly won't be back here probably ever :(

Half Hero and Half Agneepath

I'll keep it short. FIVE stars for amazing pizza quality, awesome pizza names!, great taste, affordable prices, and great location. They don't have any dine-in tables so this is definitely a take-out pizza spot but that's completely fine because the price and quality is on point. If you want halal chicken on your pizza -- ask them for Halal Chicken! P.S. - Their chicken wings aren't halal yet (as of 3.13.17). The butter chicken (Hero) and tandoori chicken (Agneepath) were delicious!! Will definitely get those flavors again and try some others as well. This is one of my new go-to pizza spots!

My first time here and what a pleasant surprise and experience. The two pizzas are very tasty and finally a great tasting veggie! I've bought pizzas all over Fairfield and I'm glad I decided to try this place out Don't let the name "Tasty Indian Pizza" fool you. They are the real deal! Since I have only been here once, I wait to see if the next visits are consistent and I'll happily raise the four stars to a five.

Vegan pizza, highly recommend the one with ketchup, yes, yum!!

I noticed this place and then watched the reviews and ratings go up. Best part, reviews including "vegan" yes! And so had to come in and give it a try! And we were greeted and helped by very friendly and understanding staff, that helped us decide what to get. They definitely understood the definition of vegan as I made sure of after reading other review. We got half Samosa and half something else (see photo) which was all good but if I were to do it again I'd go for a whole samosa pizza, so good!

Dhoom & Saagar pizza. Expletive delicuous.

Just moved to the West Coast from Philadelphia. Our biggest fear was that the west didn't do pizza well. Low and behold, a lazy saturday-search would discover such a delicuous, unconventional casual meal! Tasty Indian Pizza is quite modest in its name, as this pizza is out of this world good. The indian flavors translate so well to the dough and crust. It's quite literally indian-deliciousness on a large fluffy naan-like crust. Expand your taste buds, please your senses-- Tasty Indian Pizza is the best casual experience you'll discover.

Large pizza - half tandoori half samosa!
Kim D.

Tasty is the definitely the right word to describe it! I was yelping new restaurants in our area and came across this pizza joint. Such a great idea to combine two delicious foods into one. Since I didn't know how crowded it would be on a weekend, I called ahead to order a medium pizza. The lady on the phone was kind enough to tell me that they were having a special and it would save me money if I ordered a large instead! They didn't have the butter chicken at the time, but I was able to get a large pizza - half Tandoori (tandoori sauce, red onions, bell peppers, sweet corn, chicken and mozzarella cheese, topped with fresh cilantro) half Samosa(samosa filling with onion, mozzarella cheese, topped with cilantro, mint chutney and ketchup) for only $10.99! Other flavors that I'll be back to try include Khal Nayak (saag chicken), 3 Idiots (spicy butter chicken), and Bethab (garlic paneer). They also offer traditional Italian pizzas as well, but why bother when you can have Indian food! Also note, there is no indoor seating available.

The inside *Dont mind my menu on the bench

Tasty Indian Pizza how come you've only come to Fairfield just now? This place is nestled in the middle of local businesses on Oliver road. There is also plenty of parking available around. Before I could even step in my senses were being lured in by the familiar smell of comforting Indian food just from outside. On a warm Wednesday around 1 pm I found myself inside a clean small pizza establishment with only a bench and the front counter. Size isn't everything guys. It works out so the staff can focus on putting all that love in your pizza ;) I had no idea what to order since this was my first time having Indian pizza. Raman was all around a down to earth person and helpful in making my final decision. He even came out on his own to the parking lot to give me chutney to try out with the pizza! For my first time I chose a large pizza with two different flavors. At the moment they have a special of any large pizza for $10.99. "3 Idiots" Spicy butter chicken - I couldn't wait and I had a slice before I drove home! This joyful creation is everything you expect with the well admired butter chicken. Your mouth will encounter a creamy curry sensation that is well rounded with flavorful bites of butter chicken and hints of fresh cilantro. It has the perfect amount of spiciness that doesn't overpower. At your request they will gladly lessen the spiciness for you. This was my FAVORITE one out of the two! "Agneepath" Garlic tandoori- This one has white sauce that doesn't steal the show like some pizzas do. It shares the stage with the appetizing tandoori chicken and touches of pineapple that surprisingly works. The pizzas here are truly TASTY without being greasy or excessive on the sodium. The dough that is used to plate the aromatic toppings is thin perfect and executes the Indian pizza well! Might I also add the pizza crust and chutney sauce is also good together. Overall the prices are fair and I like how they have varying sizes of pizza from personal to large. Besides Indian pizza they also have; the Italian pizza that we all know (ex pepperoni and more), subs sandwiches, and appetizers. I highly recommend this place to everyone especially if you want to be more adventurous! I will be coming back for more of your DELICIOUS pizza.

Half: saag chicken and 3 idiots (spicy butter chicken -yellow half). MOST AMAZING PIZZA.

I'm usually someone who can only eat a bite or two of cupcakes because they tend to be overwhelmingly sweet, but these were much more enjoyable. The pricing felt fair, and the person working behind the counter was very friendly. My only suggestion would be making it a little clearer that the bakery and coffee shop share the same space. Their Tres Leches has good components of a good Tres Leches: moist cake soaked in milk with a creamy whipped cream on top. However, the milk did not appear to be evenly absorbed across my portion of cake, as some sections remained without any milk. The cake also seemed to be the only thing ube flavored, so overall the ube flavor was lacking. The cake in general was yummy, but was not my favorite as an ube tres leches. Their desserts overall look great and their custom cakes are super cute! I hope to try other items in the future.

I had heard of them before because a friend used them for their wedding, and since I plan events for a living, I've worked with a lot of caterers. For my own event though, price mattered a lot, but I still wanted really good food. After reaching out to a bunch of places, I went with Havana because I had tried their food before and their pricing was very reasonable. We ordered full trays of adobo chicken, lechon roasted pork, crispy tofu, paella, sofrito rice, black beans, corn, poblano mac and cheese, and plantains. I did bring in one dish from another restaurant, Jamaican oxtail, just because I know my guests are big foodies. The biggest hits from Havana were definitely the poblano mac and cheese, lechon, and the paella. Honestly, the mac and cheese was the standout. Everyone kept going back for it and I wish I had ordered an extra tray. What really stood out to me though was the delivery experience. The driver called me ahead of time, brought everything in, and set it all up. He opened the trays with gloves, added sauces, arranged everything nicely, and even put out utensils and labels. I've had plenty of catering deliveries before and this was easily one of the best. He was just genuinely kind and went above and beyond, and it made a big difference. Overall, everything went smoothly, the food was great, and I would definitely order from them again.
