As we were waiting in line in drive…read morethru to order, 4 young boys started getting out of their car & taking pictures of an older man and harassing him. The man was in his car behind them & in front of us. So, he could not leave. He was just waiting to place his order patiently & those kids started to provoke him. Then Gin, the owner's son came out to take this man's order & the man asked for Gin's help & sadly Gin could not be bothered. He did not care at all about the comfort or safety of an old man who is a regular in his drive thru establishment & it sounded like the man knew Gin but Gin was as cold as ice to him & told the man he did not care about the harassment & wasn't going to do anything to help this man, he has a store to run & does not care. Gin is the fat Asian man you see there a lot in case anyone wants to know. This is despicable behavior. We will NEVER go back & we hope they go out of business. Gin, how dare you treat customers that way. No wonder why we see other negative reviews on here, from the sounds of things you are rude to lots of people.

It's one of those places that nickel and dime you for everything which ticks me when you're already paying a high price for an ala'cart burger. I asked for extra onion yet barely got any but was charged extra. Hubby asked for extra grilled onion which you could slightly see but come on, extra means generous and when you're paying extra please be generous! I asked for extra sauce ( surprised no charge!) but it still wasn't drippy. I will same overall the burger was a tasty burger and the buns were seriously like a fluffy cloud, incredible. The fries were fine, onion rings better. For nearly $40 it was OK but should have been more memorable at that price.

The fact that there was barely 3 ounces of meat would normally piss me off but in this case I didn't care because it was unappetizing and I didn't even finish it. There was maybe a half cup of rice on my plate and it was also dry and tasteless. There was no cheese served with the fajitas and the dollop of sour cream was less than impressive. All that for 24.99. I never got a refill on my drink either. Two stars for the chips which were delicious. Very disappointing overall. It was very cold in the restaurant to top it off. Won't be back.

TV's on each wall, & looks like a good place to go watch games. 2nd time visiting. Nice to see the two live Christmas trees outside the front of the entrance. I recently learned today that all businesses that have these Christmas trees, will donate them to a needy family that reside in our lovely Hoodsport community. Isn't that absolutely wonderful? We ordered a BLT subbed sweet potato fries and an 8 piece fried chicken and Jo's with macaroni salad for a side. We placed today's order to go and Kathy was very friendly and attentive. Being that it is Monday night football with the Eagles at Chargers, the place picked up business. The lively chatter was welcoming. A stark contrast to the quiet gift my Hoodsport neighborhood up the mountain offers every single day. I met the owner Eric, and Val who went straight to work in the grill area pumping out food. My husband liked his fried chicken , Jo's & macaroni salad. I asked him if money was not a concern, which chicken would he prefer, the Market or Model T? He quickly replied "without a doubt Model T!" It's pressure cooked to order and so juicy!" I had a taste of the Mac salad and it was delicious. One of the best macaroni salads I've tried. I enjoyed the BLT and the sweet potato fries. We did order a $9.99 bowl of the brisket barley soup. It was hearty, full of barley. I would prefer if it had more meat though. There were only tiny bits of meat in the to go container that had me questioning if it was a cup instead of the bowl I ordered. We have leftovers which is nice. And next time, I believe I'll order the taco salad. Val had just made one and its presentation was on point.
