Oh Jonny! You are the winner for exceptional tacos. I saw…read moretheir stands many times while I was passing by, and the line was always long. This time, I decided to go. Nothing can go wrong with a consistent long line at different times. There are plenty of parking in the adjacent church parking lot. The staff were very friendly. One of them gave me two large pieces of grilled asada. It was so nice of him. It tasted juicy and well seasoned. We ordered the following; - 6 Asada 5/5 - 4 Pastor 5/5 - 3 Cabeza 5/5 - 6 lengua 5/5 - 3 tripa 5/5 Unfortunately, they ran out of chicken. Otherwise, everything was flavorful and well marinated ( just incredible). The filling was very generous. I paid fifty five dollars for twenty two tacos which was incredibly convenient. They have table with different types of salsa and toppings. You can take whatever you want. They also have burritos, molita.and quesadillas, but we were craving tacos. Definitely, I will go back to try more of their delicious food. For sure, it is worth the long line! Thanks to all Jonny's staff who were working in harmony.

My first time here tonight and I was welcomed very warmly by everyone. Yami (not sure if I spelled…read moreher name right) was very friendly and helped me out since I'm not 100% steady on my feet. She even had me try a Costillo (which was packed with flavor) and some potato's which was pretty solid! Then she even helped me back to my car. Big sweet heart and in these days I truly appreciate that personal thing from people. The food was bomb, I had asada (with cheese), pastor and chicken tacos. I usually don't get asada with cheese but since it was my first time here I opted for cheese in case flavor was lacking. Definitely won't need the cheese next time but it was a nice treat cos the guy browned the cheese on the grill then loaded up with meat. For 9 tacos I spent $29.50 which for the amount of food was a win in my book. I'm definitely gonna get Costillos next time cos mama's coming back! The salsa options were great, I'm not a fan of red salsas so I skippped that one but the guac was real and packed great flavor, the green salsa had a nice tang to it and the white salsa packed a punch. So if you want spicy, def try that one! All in all good prices, great portions, awesome flavor. Not sure if they use a flavored smoke or something cos it had a smoky undertone or something (I'm not a cook) but all that goodness paired with awesome people. 2 thumbs up for sure!

The line in the event was very long at different times. Unfortunately, they ran out of many types of hot dogs , burgers , quesadillas by the time my turn came and I reached the food truck. But at least I was lucky to try their their delicious speedy hot dog, Jamon torta and regular burger. They were delicious specially their speedy hot dog. For sure I will stop by their food truck at La Puente to try more of their delicious menu

I would have to say this was one of the best tasting danger dogs/bacon dogs in LA…read more I have seen this small food truck/trailer parked at the location several times but rarely see people there. I was in the mood, so I finally stopped, I believe the man who runs the business was still sort of setting up, but I went basic, the regular dog. It was a jumbo frank wrapped in bacon, the bun, mayo, ketchup, mustard, tomato, onions, the works. I skipped the jalapeños but asked for yellow peppers on the side. I would have had another one, but where have I been? $9, I almost said , "no thanks". I wondered why the prices were not listed on the menu. I thought I was at Dodger Stadium or something, but nonetheless, I think after I ate it, it was worth it. Filling and satisfying. I skipped the bottled mexican sodas they had, but I did ask, $4, which isn't bad for mexican coke and the likes, I have seen some places charge upto $6. For now it is a 4 star for me, it could have been 5 star but the guy was not very friendly and his attitude was more like he would rather be somewhere else. I will say, I will be coming back to try the same or maybe other types of dogs. Wonder what happened to all the other hot dog places that seemed to be on many corners around the area. Now it all tacos.

We found ourselves at Chef Darko's pop-up, which turned out to be an awesome one-man operation set up in a random parking lot in Sierra Madre. Chef Darko told us he's cooked all kinds of cuisines over the years, but recently decided to do his own thing with this burger pop-up. We went with his OG smashed burger, though he also gave a strong recommendation for the chili hot dog. Maybe next time! We grabbed seats on the outdoor patio connected to the brewery, which was perfect because it meant I could enjoy my meal with my pup by my side. Chef Darko personally brought over our burgers, served on his house-made ube buns. He tells us the buns are baked fresh daily using ube straight from the Philippines. The burger came topped with cheese, onions, pickles, and mayo. For someone like me who doesn't usually go for burgers, I loved it. The pickles had a little kick and were nice and crunchy. Even my husband, who's usually not into bread, couldn't stop raving about the ube bun. He even ordered a second burger right after finishing the first! Next time, I'll see if I can ask for grilled onions instead of raw, but other than that, the OG smashed burger was a total win. We're definitely coming back.
