For the longest time, my husband and I were convinced this place was either abandoned or some sort of local legend. Every time we drove by, it looked closed. Then one day we spotted the "OPEN" sign and immediately pulled in. First of all: donuts for $1.50? In this economy?! That's reason enough to stop. The donuts are great, the staff is incredibly friendly, and there are a few tables inside plus a picnic table outside if you want to stay awhile. We usually grab ours to go and enjoy them at home. This small town donut shop is the closest thing I have found in Florida to compare with donut shops in New York. They make their donuts in house, so they are always fresh. The only thing that is better than the donuts is the people who work there. Been going there for 16 years and they are as good now as they were when I bought the first donut there. Our new favorite in Titusville. Kim's is closed until they find a new location, and Donuts 4 You is closed on Monday, so we had to drive a little farther. The shape of the donuts is unusual (they're kind of flat), but they're very tasty. They only have powdered lemon filled and I prefer glazed--less messy to eat. But both the lemon and the Boston Cream were delicious. We prefer the apple fritters from Donuts 4 You, but it's only by a small margin. Overall, very happy and we'll be buying 3 dozen to take with us back to Brunswick, GA, where we live, because we sadly have no decent donuts there. read more

They are good, big donuts. They are decently priced, compared to Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts, I heard, but I would only get them on special occasions as they are provably more than 1200 calories each, which is already my daily caloric intake limit. I also got a breakfast sandwich that was served extremely hot. It was ok. One thing I did notice was that the lady serving the donuts was yelling through the glass over the donuts. Finally found an opportunity to stop in and give them a try it's difficult at times to pass up a donut shop I haven't been here before,today's visit was late morning, being they open at 1:00 AM I knew it'd be a long shot to get any hot fresh made donuts but I asked anyway. My request was met with a smile and a lesson in donuts 101. The older woman and trusty helper were both very friendly and engaging but getting a hot donut wasn't going to happen, I guess I didn't realize "once the donuts rise they have to fry" or be froze which isn't going to happen here, the older woman was quick to make her point. Having lost most my interest we decided on a apple fritter, a plain glazed and a croissant. Cold donuts of any type are just okay with me and don't make the top 25 list of memorable pastries, the glazed donut wasn't bad by any means, it wasn't stale which kinda surprised me being it was several hours old the glaze had depreciated, it was sticky and wet and had lost most of it's shine, on the opposite side of the spectrum the apple fritter it was amazing it definitely stood up well in comparison to the others so it's a safe play, yes that's my recommendation - oh I almost forgot the croissant, dry, cold, lacked the buttery flakiness, if you're taking them home slice it, fill it with homemade chicken salad top with a slice of natural cheddar press it on both side in a hot pan until the cheese melts and it's crunchy, but it's never to be eaten alone... read more

Read the reviews about this place and was on the fence about it. I like donuts that are fluffy and light with that "melt in your mouth" type of consistency. I'm not a fan of Dunkin Donuts. Publix is by far better. However, I'm glad my gpa took me here. Yes, the place looks a little scary and run down but don't let that prevent you from going in. There was an older gal there and she was so sweet. The inside smells wonderful (like donuts) My daughter mentioned the donut holes but we were there for regular donuts. The lady put a few in there for my daughter. The donuts were amazing! We got plain glazed, coconut covered, chocolate covered and strawberry covered. They were such a hit. No gonna lie, this place looks pretty ghetto from the outside...and kinda on the inside too. I felt like It could be cleaner but thats never really stopped me for eating at a place before....unless there are bug everywhere. There are a couple donuts places on this street and they are not too far away from each other. Me and some friends decided to try all of them side by side to determine which we like the best. Tastee donuts was my second choice but others had there own opinions. There donuts are sweet and tasty. Nothing too fancy here, just your standard donuts and taste is as expected. Its cool that its a local place and not a chain donut place, although we put those to the test as well. They have coffee here and some tea. The inside is simple, big glass wall separating you from the donuts. Not much seating room inside but there is a couple of tables. One table was taken up completely by staff when we came in. Can't really blame them if its slow and they've been up before the sun to make donuts! haha All in all its a yummy breakfast. read more

These are the best donuts I have ever had! They put the major donut chain brands to shame. The donuts are full of flavor, have a great fried texture, and don't look like somebody sat on them (like Dunk'n's donuts.). I recommend their blue berry donut and Raspberry filled iced donut. read more
