The ice cream was good, but nothing especially memorable for me. The real highlight is the location, there's a large seating area inside a trendy food hall making it a great place to hang out with friends or family while you enjoy your dessert. Overall, I'd give it about 3.5 stars. Worth trying if you're in the area, especially if you're interested in unique flavors, but it didn't quite stand out enough for me to seek it out again.

There are quite a few flavors- dragonfruit, mango, cotton candy, pear, and a few others. They do have ice cream, though, if you'd still be wanting the mainstream. However, by far the best option to get from here is the gelati! Gelati is italian ice and ice cream mixed together- mind blown! It's smooth yet hits your flavor buds in the perfect couple of punches. I'd recommend going with plain vanilla ice cream and a fruity ice flavor, it's what I get every single time now. This Rita's location is an ordering window and then you eat outside. But it's a super nice setup. They also give discounts to students which is awesome. I'm really glad Rita's came to Lakeland!!

It wasn't particularly fresh (or maybe the storage somehow wasn't sealed all the way) and it was blended with cinnamon. Now, I like cinnamon but that's not going to match every flavor. And some people may dislike cinnamon. I had no idea it had cinnamon until the end. The ratio was much stronger of ice cream to cone by the end and honestly all I tasted was cinnamon. Location is ok, but you may not realize there's parking in the back if you've never been there. It is at a light so crossing and turning into the place is easy. Atmosphere and ice cream itself were stupendous. I recommend getting the cone with vanilla or just getting the scoops. Unless you love cinnamon and there you go. Their competitor downtown is better in some ways, BUT Bright Ice has better flavors and more traditional type of flavors. This is an important distinction which makes it stand out on its own. Honestly, I will return for a pint of that Espresso with Kahula. Great addition to the Lakeland scene and I would definitely recommend this.

My friend had the Anko which is filled with a Japanese sweet bean paste. She liked hers as well. You place your order and wait 5 minutes. There were three of us and our fishes came out pronto. When you order you see WAFU ice cream waffle cones. Visually these are beautiful and unusual flavors. They fill the cones with vanilla or matcha ice cream.
