Blizzard was good but the didn't flip it so I was sad. It came out quick so I can't complain much

My primary issue with this DQ is that's it's probably the slowest one I've EVER visited. I know for a fact of driven off twice because I was tired of sitting in the drive-thru. It doesn't matter if there are 2 cars in front of you or 8, your gonna be sitting for a long time. One my last visit, I ordered a large twist cone and was handed a large vanilla cone. Only giving one because no option for zero. I waited 23 minutes for 2 chili dogs which were their special and I still never got them. The "manager" had 3 opportunities at least to make it right and did nothing. Owner called admitted it was not handled right and just made excuses. The new place is SUPER nice! Owners are great folks who work extremely hard. Staff is very polite and the service is quick. Best of all the kids love it even more. Tried the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Quite tasty and the fries are the best! read more

Last trip to this DQ! Spent 20 mins sitting at drive thru window. 4 kids who obviously didn't know what they were doing working inside. They made 2 of our blizzards and then started making other orders while ours sat on counter. Couldn't get them to the window. After 15 mins a kid sticks his head out and says what is wrong? Asked for our order and he hands us the 2 melted blizzards and says he can remake them. I actually get out of the car and walk inside to speak to the owner and tell him to help those kids! His wife hands 2 more blizzards out and they didn't make the sundae. Culver's can't get here soon enough! It's a shame cuz this was a great DQ til owners stopped being around. read more

This is a great little DQ. Definitely older, but I like it better than the new ones simply because it is very inviting. When I came in today, all the workers were high school kids, so they were friendly. We ordered two blizzards and they were quick. They didn't mix it as well as I'd like but it still tasted delicious. I did find it a little weird that they were piping in contemporary Christian music but if I'm just walking in, grabbing my blizzard, and leaving, I'm all good. read more

I saw the might be relocating soon which would be a good thing, finally they would have a drive Thur.. and hopefully they will have the cherry dip for their cones currently they only have the chocolate dip... ice cream still is amazing and that's what counts read more

This is my third time in less than two weeks coming to the store and every time I've come here they screwed up my order I've told them at the window and then I get an attitude I asked for a chocolate with peanut butter sauce and I get a vanilla with peanut butter sauce and then I'm told that the chocolate is soupy that they don't have chocolate and that's why they did it.but never came back to offer me something different or the price and then they charge me $1.25 extra so I will never patronize this restaurant again for anything and I will tell all my friends how terrible you are and that was $16 that I spent each time outthe door take that to your managers plus I can't get receipt because the owner won't buy paper sad if you can't deliver products close your doors read more

Stopped by a couple of weeks ago to take grand girls out for a Birthday sundae. What a nice place. Clean. Nice people - staff and diners. Hot Dogs, french fries and drinks were added to our Birthday meal. Dogs done on the grill with a toasted bun. Yummy. Prices reasonable. We got a banana split to share and it was a real treat as the girls had never had a real banana split before. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean restrooms. Drive thru window too. Wheelchair friendly. Not the best place the previous location was dirty and hot. The new location it not much better the service is slow and the food is marginal at best. I am sure the food service inspection are poor as well. Need to get managers that care and a staff that knows how to clean, and provide good customer service. Not a place I will recommend. read more

Beware, Beware. Had not been to this Dairy Queen since they moved to this location on North 98 in Lakeland, FL. What a disappointment, ordered two small vanilla shakes, cost was $8.54. Should have driven away right then. Both shakes were a little thicker than milk, with a dollop of not real whipped cream and a slice of a cherry. It is pretty bad when Dairy Queen cannot give you a good thick shake with real whipped cream and a whole cherry but charges you like you are getting the best out there. Shame on you Dairy Queen!!! Ice cream is great. Chili cheese dogs are superb! Customer is terrific. BUT they only have 1 handicapped parking space and a worker or manager parks their truck and mini trailer across the space, effectively blocking it. They have no handicap sticker, tag, or signage of any kind on the truck to be legally parking and blocking the handicap parking space that my husband needed.This has happened twice this week. Not cool. We complained but no one moved the vehicle while we were there (30 minutes). For shame! read more

It's a DQ. Not a lot to say here, as DQ speaks for itself. This location is off of US 98 North in an L-shaped strip mall. You can see it from the highway. The staff here are always bubbly, nice, and courteous. Anytime I want my chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard fix, they are always waiting on me. I've never had anything but a pleasant experience here. Good store, well managed, friendly staff, and of course, Blizzard bliss. read more

My review is for Dairy Queen in general. In 1970, I heard about a remote, old Dairy Queen around Wichita Falls, Texas, that still served DQ's original custard recipe. I drove past a new DQ to get to it. Although all she served was ice cream, the line (people, not cars) never dropped below 15. The owner explained that they were the last DQ that served the custard formula, because her old machine could not handle the new formulation. The ice cream was heavenly! If Nirvana was attainable by eating ice cream (and it is) that would get you there in two bites. A few months later, a suited executive was serving, explaining that the old lady who owned it, was dying of cancer. "Frankly, we can't wait until she dies. Her store is the last of its kind, and gives our new stores a bad reputation," he coldly reported. DQ is a highly overpriced, lousy version of what used to be heavenly ice cream. read more

This is a family owned, small business. Come on lady will it hurt you to add one more twist to a little kids cone to make them happy. Very select few items on the menu for food. I understand they are family owned and operated.. but if it's the DQ franchise, they should be expected to serve food like all the other DQ restaurants. Staff was friendly and the food wasn't bad. This is one of the worst Dairy Queens that my family and I have been to. Every time I go there is always something not working. I just went in on Sunday with my family and the chocolate ice cream was too soft to dip into the chocolate dip. Then they didn't have any twist ice cream. The servings were so small and cheap. If I'm paying i expect to get what I pay for not pay for a large and get a small.. My family and I will never ever go back to this Dairy Queen again. I rather go to Twistee Treat across the street. read more
