I visited Shibam Coffee this week, on Monday, 8 June 2026 to work for a few hours. It was cold inside but thankfully I had a light jacket. I ordered the Jubani ($5), a light roast Yemeni coffee, and I also ordered also a slice of baklava ($6). The Jubani coffee was good which is great because I'm actually not a coffee drinker but the flavour wasn't as strong as I noticed when I tried it at a different Yemeni coffee shop. I still liked the Jubani coffee and I added some sugar to it. The baklava was delicious as expected but slightly too cold. Although I wasn't greeted when I entered, the young man working said hi after I said hello. Another employee kindly took my photo next to the Shibam Coffee sign/logo that was inside. Weirdly, there was no trash can inside so to get rid of the napkin that I used, I had to ask an employee to throw it away for me behind the service counter. There is a trash can in the bathroom though. Overall, if you haven't experienced a Yemen, based coffee shop then visit Shibam Coffee. The Adeni tea, a popular item, is on their menu but I haven't had it at Shibam yet (I have had the Adeni tea many times before at other Yemen coffee shops). Another Yemeni coffee shop in Cleveland is my favourite but Shibam is good too. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 127/250 total reviews in 2026 - 968 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 11 June 2026

I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. I didn't even know about their app yet until after I received the piece of paper with discounts. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 61/250 total reviews in 2026 - 902 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026

Only chocolate flavors available...again, would be way better in raspberry or peach or something). The ham and cheese croissant looked like it would be so good but alas, it was kind of stiff and not as fresh. BF ordered the Korean beef grilled cheese and they didn't even use brioche buns. It was $11.99! Lawd have mercy, the prices were even higher than Tous les jour's! Overall freshness and taste couldn't compare to Tous les jour. Nothing here was as good as the croque monsieur. They did have a lot of variety but the store was kind of smaller than expected. The very similar strawberries n' cream croissant that is $5 something at Tous les jour is a whopping $6.10 here. Plus the high tax that they charge, it seemed criminal to ask for a tip on top of that. There are trays and tongs for you to grab everything for yourself. I guess I should tip myself since I served and cleaned my area. I'm glad I bundled this stop with Avon parks because otherwise it's 40+min out of the way for me. I'll stick with my Tous les jour until the next Asian bakery opens on the east side!

Pssssst, The Dairy Grove is the place to be!…read more I've recently accepted a life long mission to conduct an honest and fair icecream tour of America, and record my findings for the benefit of the people. Since I'm a nomad, I'm constantly visiting new places and always looking for the best scoop around the country. My mission entails high priority research, to ensure the respective Icecream location meets the crucial criteria set forth by our founding fathers. Criteria includes, but is not limited too: -a wide array of flavors / options -unique choices or seasonal specials -fair prices -fun facilities & accessibility -sensational staff -Samples ... I am pleased to report the Dairy Grove marks all those boxes, and then some more! To start with, they have Dole Whip! So I no longer need to take a horrid Frontier Flight just to go to Disney Springs and get Dole Whip. I can just come here when in town! And you don't have to worry about that pesky Mickey Mouse and his Clubhouse delinquents stealing your icecream - trust me, we've received multiple companies.... I will note, Buyer Beware, the Dole whip flavors do change - they only offer two dole whip flavors per week, and post the flavors to the Facebook. Hopefully you have the Facebook if you're contemplating on going for a particular dole whip flavor. Beyond the Dole Whip, though I could go on and on, the icecream is fire as well. I got a bunch of scoops to try, including coffee, something super chocolaty with chips in it, pumpkin, and lemon cheesecake. All were phenomenal. I also got a scoop of Superman to go, and was pleasantly surprised that it's the real deal - a mix of flavors, not just food colored-chemically treated vanilla, like some of the other imposters out there. The location is convenient, right off Center Ridge Rd, with ample parking, and there's a drive through! There's also plenty of areas to sit outside, if you don't mind looking at the competition (pulp juice bar) next door. The hanging lights and neon signs make for a fun night time vibe. I didn't visit the restroom, or pay attention as to whether they allowed peasants to use it, but I will update this review next time I go to Dairy Grove. Overall , If you're looking for a good sweet treat, I highly recommend! Plus, This would be a fantastic place for a date, as long as neither of you are allergic or lactose intolerant.

All cups are made to order resulting in better taste. Options on the menu were banana Dubai chocolate cups, strawberry Dubai chocolate cups (single layer or double layer) ($7-15), truffles ($4 each), chocolate bars ($10-20), and jars (pistachio crunch and peanut butter) ($8-10). I ordered Dubai chocolate cup with double layers ($15). The serving was generous but I really felt that $15 is not a reasonable price. I tried Dubai chocolate cups at Middle Eastern events and festivals, so I was comparing my cup to those cups. The ratio of ingredients felt unbalanced. There was almost too much of everything and it overpowered the flavor. The whole thing also tasted very salty which was unexpected. I appreciated the real pistachios in the cup. I wouldn't get it again (due to being too salty and pricey), but it was nice to try once. Aside from Dubai chocolate, they also have seasonal kolaczki - raspberry, blueberry, nut, apricot, cream cheese, apple, strawberry, and cherry ($24.95 per 2 dozen). There's also cupcakery inside with various flavors like strawberry lemon, peanut butter lovers, triple chocolate, and zebra cake. Cupcakes are $4 individual and can be purchased in larger qualities. Any cakes, cupcakes, or other treats can be ordered for pickup at the bakery. Ordered 24/7 online and picked up 7 days a week. The service was pretty good. Employees really wanted to know if customers enjoyed the experience and cupcakes. The interior of the store is no frills - white walls and comfy red booths. The shop is pretty small. Overall, this bakery is a gem for North Ridgeville community where there are not many other bakery/cupcakery around.

There is outdoor seating but it was chilly out and the vibes inside are cute and Instagram friendly, so we ate inside. There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different drink and a different crepe. I ordered the Hawaiian crepe and an iced matcha latte with oat milk. The other 3 ordered a dirty Chai, a regular Chai, and a brown sugar oat latte for their drinks and the chicken tuscan, Parisian, and the bacon avocado crepes. We were really happy with our delicious crepes but were mixed on our drinks. The crepes are huge and definitely worth the money! I can only speak for mine but I thought my Hawaiian crepe had a generous serving of ham and pineapple inside and the pineapple sauce was chunky and slightly spicy! For the two of us, my bf paid about $45. So the crepes were great but I'd like to mention a few things that bumped this down to just a 4 star experience. The limited time drinks didn't have the prices listed on their special menu. I think that, if they read this review, they should write the prices next to all items they offer. Also, they forgot to charge my bf for his crepe and didn't put in his order so the other 3 of us had our crepes for a few minutes already before he asked where his was. They apologized and whipped his up immediately so he didn't have to wait in line. They still had him pay at the end though. Oh well! And lastly, they ABSOLUTELY need better ventilation here - your clothes will smell like fried food until you get home and wash them! Don't wear something non-washable here haha. Anyway, I'd come here again if I'm in the area for a crepe or two!
