Carnitas: The carnitas is crispy, rich, and intensely flavored. You can get them as tacos dressed with onions and cilantro. Or get the carnitas plate, loaded with meat, and rice and beans. Add some excellent salsa roja, sharp salsa verde, and spicy orange habanero salsa. Menudo: The huge clay bowl contains the red and savory stew of tripe and chillies. The tripe has been long simmered until they are soft, tender, and just a bit chewy. Toss in onions, cilantro, and dried oregano. Squeeze some lime juice to keep building the flavor. The friendly owner checked in on us and offered us a cup of buche. The pork stomachs are fried and are soft with a nice chewy gelatinous exterior that has absorbed the savory notes. Parking: There's a lot, but there's only one space since the other side's spots are for the neighboring tire shop. You can easily find a spot by the sidewalk in front.

I ordered two tacos for lass than $11 cash. You pay a bit more for credit. I got the carnitas and al pastor. They were both good, but I give the edge to the carnitas. You get a good amount of meat with the tacos and lots of red onions and cilantro. I wish I lived a little closer so I could visit more often.

Wow, this place is truly one of a kind. For me, it's the best Mexican food in LA…read more I ordered the chicken burrito with cheese, and it was outstanding. The meat was heated right in front of me and was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The salsas paired perfectly with the burrito, and everything was made and rolled to order. The stand itself is small, but the staff was friendly, respectful, and efficient. Even with a line when I arrived, they prepared my food quickly without sacrificing quality. I'll definitely be coming back.

For around $10, you're getting a burrito that's practically the size of your face and packed with flavor. The carne asada is the star of the show. It has an amazing char, is perfectly seasoned and tastes fresh every single time. The atmosphere is great too. Good music, friendly staff, and a hardworking crew that always seems to have a smile on their faces. They have a self serve toppings bar with plenty of options, and while some people may be hesitant about that at a taco stand, everything is always clean and well maintained. I've eaten here many times and have never had an issue. The sauces are absolutely fire. The guacamole sauce, spicy green salsa and red hot sauce all bring something different to the table. Nothing tastes old or like it's been sitting around. Everything tastes fresh and is made with care. This has become our go to spot. We've tried a lot of taco stands and food trucks throughout Los Angeles, and honestly, nothing else has come close.

On menu it's 5 dollars for fish tacos and 7 dollars for cheese quesadillas on happy hour menu. When I got the bill, I was charged 20 dollars for tacos (Should be 5 each) with rice and beans. Quesadillas was 9 instead of 7 dollars. The waitress told happy hour just for drinks and food it's only for taco Tuesday for those prices. This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.
