This Jamaican Bakery never disappoints! Monday through Saturday you can indulge in a wide variety of freshly baked patties, breads or pastry. The selection of patties are abundant however the beef patties are my go to favorite. They also always have a soup of a day. Quick tip: Go early before 11am or be prepared for a long wait, also for large orders save yourself time and call ahead for take out.

Good location. I came in to pick up some patties before a trip. Came in a Saturday morning and it was not packed. The akee and salt fish had chunks of akee in them which was good. The beef patty was packed with filling and very tasty. The coco breads were fresh and so soft, warm and fluffy. Definitely recommend this location.

This place has some great comforting homemade soup. Whatever the soup of the day is, it's just amazing. I had them all. I usually come here at least twice a week.

Tha Yelp Daddy was told that this place has the best Patties and Oxtails in town. So, Tha Yelp Daddy had to test this theory! And you know what, their Oxtail dinner is pretty dawn tasty! Great flavors, Good portions and really good rice! However, their patties are really good BUT I must say 2nd best in town!!! Maybe, best in Miami! The service-as nice as they could get?-they are Jamaican and with most Jamaican joints, the service is pretty bad but here...not so much! The food-so good!!!! The food selection-good variety. The location-kinda in the cut off a back street! The parking-weird, be careful when parking. The decor-basic Caribbean hole in the wall. **Note:If you are dating an Island person and you want to identify with their roots then take them here because this place will get you much propz!!! So, check it out...I ordered the Oxtail dinner, Awesome-the rice alone is full of great flavor. The Oxtail meat-tender and dripping with taste. I ordered the veggie, Ackee and the Jerk chicken patties-All so good! This is my go to place in Miami for Jamaican food...Yeah, Mon! taste rite!

This is one of the best places to get jamaican patties. The patties are nice and soft as well as delicious. Their baked goods are good also. They need some upgrades on tables and chairs but it's a small seating area. Definitely check out.

The lady serving the patties with the broad face has a bit of an attitude. Not worth the trip over here. Won't be back

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.

Noam greeted us warmly and immediately helped arrange a buffet-style setup featuring all the popular Haitian dishes--everything was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. The GM, Malinda, was extremely attentive, making sure everyone knew what each dish was and felt comfortable, and Matta was very professional and efficient while setting everything up. This was a real test of Naomi's Garden's ability to handle pressure and a big group, and they passed with flying colors. Beyond the amazing food, we genuinely learned about Haitian culture through the cuisine. Incredible experience--highly recommend Naomi's Garden for both the food and the hospitality.

I asked about a menu and was directed online to search "Naomi Miami," but when I asked for the grouper fillet on the menu online I was told they didn't have it. I got the tofu with rice and the spinach stew, and my boyfriend got the chicken with yellow cornmeal. We haven't had Haitian food, but we both enjoyed our entrees. The portion sizes were large and I think most people could eat this for two meals.
