Caribbean Lobster & Shrimp Roll

Service was adequate and friendly. Do not add on the "blackened fries." They're just regular fries with light seasoning added after deep frying. Most importantly, they're stale. The Bushwhacker was good.

Update: so I have to update my review as someone, I assume the owner, came out to announce that there had been a credit card "hack" impacting all US banking, and that only cash would be taken. Obviously first thing we did was look on our phones and saw nothing. Now this is fine if you prefer cash simply pay that your credit card machine is down or otherwise but no need to make an elaborate story about it. All the other shops in the area were taking credit cards just fine. We paid cash, so no issues but again just the approach. --- Review based on drinks and atmosphere. Can't go wrong I mean we took the Skyride and it was a gorgeous view. Once up here plenty of shops, and "taste at paradise point" for drinks. Had to get the Bushwacker Delight, and it did not disappoint. Refreshing for 9 AM drink lol Beautiful views and friendly staff. We did not order food as we went elsewhere, but would definitely recommend stopping up here for drinks and the atmosphere. And plenty of seating.

Food was yummy. Cocktails were nice and strong. Sever was friendly. Views were great. Just a little pricey

If you're not afraid of heights this is definitely a must try when visiting the Virgin Islands. The ride up can certainly be scary but the views at the top make it all the worth while. I didn't try any food while there but the Bushwhacker drink I had was delicious. Highly recommend.

Great view but... Came for my bday and they brought me the wrong drink, took 30 mins to bring the wrong drink (i wanted a pina colada and they brought paradise rum punch, said "sorry my lady but it is a great drink" and walked away and we had to fight and beg to get the full price check

Fantastic service! Amazing virgin frozen banana and passion fruit drinks. Gorgeous views!

First things first.... You can't beat the view! A beautiful setting at the top of a skylift overlooking Charlotte Amelie and the cruise port, you can expect to pay premium prices for dining at Taste. The drinks, not terribly priced, are stout and delicious--the Bushwhacker is their specialty. The menu looks great...with nachos, blackened fries, jerk chicken, smash burgers, and more. The prospects are good, the location was great, and service (they automatically add tips, so beware) was adequate. The food.... Didn't live up. The queso is clearly out of a can, though the jerk chicken dip and sandwich were good. The fries ($5 up charge from chips...don't bother) were cold and bland. It's okay for drinks and snackage, but don't expect to get what you pay for.

Very disappointed. Apparently this restaurant is only open 'Cruise Days'.The day that a cruise ship is port. Other wise it is a no go.

We made a reservation, but honestly it didn't seem totally necessary when we went. From the moment we sat down, the staff was on top of everything and so friendly. You could tell they really care about the experience, and everything flowed perfectly without feeling rushed. For drinks, we ordered the Vessup and the Carib and both were so good. The Vessup especially stood out, the cream on top was so smooth and delicious and just made the whole drink. They brought out fresh bread to start and it was so good (always a win in my book). For dinner, we went with the lobster with potato and broccolini and it was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were just on point. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was easily one of our favorite dinners on the trip. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for something a little nicer but still with that island feel.

Hand down the best place to eat in the area. It's very small, but packs a punch with great customer service, cool drinks and outstanding food. Best to try and get in on their off hours to get a table without a wait. We literally ate here 4 times when we were on the island. An absolute MUST to order is their Bacon Jalapeno tater kegs! OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! LOL You can ring in another way too! On your trip to the john, call in sick to work and stay on the island! You're enticed too by the retro phone sitting a top a keg outdoors as well. Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Perfect vibe, casual dinning and great accommodations by the staff (for our big party) who were so friendly and professional. This is a must experience spot when visiting St Thomas.

Duffy's provides free parking which is a rarity and right at noon, the mall lot had tons of open spots. We both ordered burgers, one with the standard fries and one with onion rings. It took a good half hour for the food to be delivered but when we got it, it was hot and cooked to our specs. Fries were crispy. Burger was thick with a nice crisp, almost tasted like a smash burger but thicker. Service was good. It was the one spot where we didn't have to pay for a refill of soda. They were playing the best music! No waitlist or host so you have to linger and wait for someone to leave if you need a table and they are full. Great stop.

Our flights routed through Atlanta to St. Thomas; there are no flights to St. John, only a ferry from St. John (or St. Croix), so we stayed one overnight at the Marriott Frenchman's Cove, which is next-door on the peninsula from the Westin, which is where you find Luna Mar; Frenchman's Cove offers rides in the hotel shuttles, and you can also walk... note that the short distance is hilly, and there are some blind spots but can also hear the cars coming, so if you walk, you should apply common sense and use all five physical senses and you'll be ok. Luna Mar, at the Westin, is a fantastic property, with wonderful views of Charlotte-Amalie and the rest of St. Thomas in one direction, and a view out into the ocean to the other direction. Luna Mar is an open-air restaurant... yet no insects! Unsure how that was/is possible, but we do confirm that there were no insects the night we dined there. Luna Mar serves fantastic food, which I thoroughly enjoyed with my wonderful wife at great restaurant with amazing views - Aegean lemon chicken - "Roasted chicken, oregano-lemon sauce, warm potatoes & arugula salad" - Chicken and regular and purple potatoes... with green beans... atop small salad... fantastic all around... chicken crispy on outside and juicy inside; fantastic potatoes - Provence-style sea bass - "Cannelloni purée, romesco sauce, lemon-garlic broccolini, peperonata, olive oil Aaliya - thank you for serving us on our visit.
