The Tasmania Football Club, known as the Tasmania Devils, is the 19th AFL (Australian Football League) team based in Hobart, set to enter the AFL in 2028. Launched in March 2024, the club uses iconic colors of myrtle green, rose red, and primrose yellow, with a foundational VFL team debuting at North Hobart Oval in March 2026. I recently stopped in at the Club's shop during my stay in Tasmania. I came away with a key chain and a base membership. In fact, my welcome sticker pack arrived in the mail yesterday. I doubt whether I'll make a match in 2028 and based on some local conversations, this Club has a long way to go regarding the proposed new stadium in Hobart. read more

Great position on the waterfront overlooking a multitude of yachts moored in the marina . Wednesday…read morenight is ladies night and the venue is humming. Meals are served in the dining room or alternatively more pub style in the less formal clubrooms. Service in the latter is speedy and friendly with generous sized meals . The number of raffles on offer make for a fun event.
