St David's Park is a park located in the Hobart CBD. It is centrally located as it is a couple of blocks from the waterfront and close to Salamanca Place. This appears to be the primary park in the area as it takes up a whole city block.
My first visit to this park was on the first days of winter in Australia. As such, there were indications of this as there were colored leaves on the ground. Though it was cold, there was still plenty of green trees around. The trees here were mostly pine, though I did see one palm tree as well.
This is a great place to take a stroll as there are long walkways around the park. It is also a good place to lounge as there are a number of benches to sit on. If you work in the area, this seems like a good spot to enjoy a lunch break at when it is warm out.
If you are looking for a park in the Hobart CBD to get some fresh air and sun, I would recommend St David's Park. read more
