Even with unusually short notice, they did a phenomenal job: They helped plan all the remaining details, bringing our attention to things we had not considered and giving us great ideas and recommendations all along the way. Their experience planning and coordinating numerous weddings gave us the confidence to trust their advice. They took care of all the setup/breakdown and decorations with detail and precision. They personalized the design to our needs. They researched vendors we had not yet secured, priced out and purchased all of the extras needed for the setup (e.g. flowers, linens, desserts, personalized signs), and coordinated with the venue, vendors, and ceremony participants beforehand and on the day of. I cannot even list all the details they managed, and they made sure everything was covered. Before we hired them, we were doing all the planning ourselves (in the midst of busy work schedules and moving). I honestly cannot imagine how we would have finished the remaining planning and setup/breakdown without their help. They took a huge load off our shoulders and allowed us (and our family and friends) to thoroughly enjoy our wedding week with as little stress as possible. All of this was for a reasonable price, far more affordable than what many wedding planners and coordinators charge. The wedding was beautiful from start to finish, and our family and friends are still talking about it. I would absolutely recommend Sweetly Designed Events for a wedding or any other major event.

Amanda is very detail oriented and made sure to touch base as needed leading up to the event. When we walked into the venue the day of we were blown away. The decor and setup was perfection and the timelines ran smoothly. All of our guests were so impressed with the whole evening, very grateful for Amanda's services.

I was referred to Kyle through a former co-worker who is also in the event planning world. I was originally looking for help navigating some minor things with my baby shower. After my Mom and Mother in Law heard about Kyle's work (and saw some pics), they hired her to take on the full event. Kyle brought our combined vision to life, my "baby shower at a brewery but make it spacious, accommodating, and cute - oh and I want a balloon arch" idea turned into this beautiful event in the pictures. Kyle worked hand in hand with my Mom on everything. Considering none of my family is local, this was such a huge help to have someone who knew exactly which vendors to use. The cupcakes! The cookies! And oh my god the food! That was all Kyle. Every idea I had she ran with. And concern I had, she handled. Oh and on the day of the party, she coordinated everything, also stepped in to make sure I had great pictures and was our impromptu paparazzi. Thanks to Kyle, we had the baby shower that people are still talking about. Can't wait to have another event where we can have Kyle work her magic.

Once we were ready, she explained what we were working with, offered a few suggestions and let us have at it! Even more fun, she was concocting delicious cocktails for us to enjoy while we worked! Not only did Kyle set us up, but she also cleaned as we went, leaving barely a trace by night's end. I highly suggest you book Kyle and have some of this fun for yourself!

    I rented a photo booth from City Picture Booth (used to be City Party Booth) as a present to my…read moresister on her wedding day on 10/29/2011 and I can't say enough about how great they were. There were a few things that went awry at the wedding... such as a Nor'easter during my sister's wedding, and a terrible wedding planner that for some awful reason put the picture booth outdoors on a covered patio. Even though there was a roof, it didn't stop the snow from blowing everywhere. This meant that the booth and the attendants were outside in the cold and snow during the wedding ceremony and reception. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't want to be outside in those conditions, but the folks at City Picture Booth put smiles on their faces and stuck it out. Wearing gloves and shivering, they rocked it outside like it was warm out. The wedding planner also mismanaged the ceremony time and everything was pushed back including the time on the photo booth. I had rented the booth for 4 hours, but were only able to really utilize the booth for an hour. Seeing everything that had gone wrong, City Picture Booth stayed longer than needed to OUTSIDE in the COLD for an extra amount of time so that the guests at the wedding could enjoy the booth. And believe me, looking at the online album on City Picture Booth's website of our event... the guests had a great time. You'd never know it was snowing around them. Andrew and Charlotte, the photo booth attendants, were absolutely professional, gracious and understanding. The owner, Maily Mai, was great in the planning process. She got us the colors and logos we wanted for the photo booth and didn't have to go the extra mile and have the attendants stay longer to accommodate for the wedding planner's mismanagement of the wedding -but she and they did. I haven't seen customer service like this in a long time. They were worth every penny (which I might add their rates were lower than any others I saw). If you want a fun experience go with these guys. If I lived in Boston, they'd be my go-to photo booth folks!

    Do not use this photo booth company for any of your functions. This is the worst company I have…read moreever had to deal with. I was looking to book a photo booth for my wedding and found this company and thought $500 for 2 hours was a great deal. If the company was legitimate it would have been. However, I was able to book a photo booth for the date that I wanted through the website and put down a $400 deposit. I then received various phone calls the next day saying that the date that I wanted was already booked. When I called back I got the run around and no one answered the phone or called me back. When someone finally called me back it was not the manager listed in this ad as Maily May but someone else. The person I spoke to said that they were having issues with the website and that I am the 15th person in the last couple of days that has had this issue. They offered my money back but said pretty much "good luck" if I want to take this any further. If you really want to rent a photo booth for your occasion, I suggest using one of the other "inexpensive" companies; Red Eye Photo Booth or Behind the Curtain Photo Booth (BTC photo booth if you don't mind seeing over the curtain in your pictures, which I unfortunately do). They are around $600 for 4 hours and had better customer service than these people at City Party Booth. Rent a photo booth from City Party Booth in Malden, MA at your own risk. 9 times out of 10, I am sure they will be more than happy to ruin your event.
