This is a nice park. I went here today to go hiking. Moderate to easy hike I would say. I enjoyed seeing the views from the top of the yellow trail, but other than that not too many cool views. Mostly just a lot of trees. I really enjoyed the valley part though and the trails were pretty easy to figure out. A lot of bugs out in this area though, so make sure you remember your bug spray! I would say definitely check it out if you enjoy a good long hike. People in this area were super friendly which was a pleasant surprise :)

This is a beautiful park to go for a walk or a hike. We usually bring our dogs. The Mansion is gorgeous and the grounds are a great place to spend a weekend day.

I enjoy the Sunday morning yoga sessions when I am in the country and manage to make it. The park also has a few very doable trails and one called an Ives trail that I hear goes all the way to bethel and to Ridgefield! I've been meaning to give that a shot one day. The park is dog friendly, and there is also a mansion that holds events, weddings and such. A very pretty setting indeed!

Beautiful park, garden, and event home with a little bit of everything. Looks perfect for a special event inside or out. The house has an atrium and large porch. The grounds have a volunteer greenhouse, high points with boulders, a meditation garden, a labyrinth, a gazebo, a covered arbor walk, and open lawn space. On a Saturday morning, most of the people there were either families with kids or teenagers trying to find a place to smoke together. The loud music from teen cars and smoking was the only thing that made it less appealing- but they weren't everywhere- just in certain spots.

Love bringing my dog here! She loves the trails, friendly people, and adventures. Great opportunities for photographers to capture beautiful moments such as engagement, family, and prom photos, etc. such a beautiful place with much adventure opportunity. Parking is easy and I never have a problem finding a spot.

Who would think this beautiful park is right in Danbury. Lots of hiking trails, picnic areas, and fascinating history. In fall the foliage is stunning. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this place. Multiple different hikes from casual strolls to tough climbs. I love the abandoned castle. Pond loop is beautiful and easy.

Now a retired dairy farm, Castle Hill Farm was once the second largest supplier of dairy products in Fairfield County. In spite of the farm's retired status, the Paproski Family work hard to preserve their 100+ acres through continuing the production of hay and corn fields, growing Christmas trees and seasonal vegetables. In addition to their Farm Stand, Castle Hill Farm also has a petting zoo, hayrides, a Sunflower Stroll, a Corn Maze, a Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch, and other various attractions at different times throughout the year. The farm is also available to book for events such as weddings and baby showers. My family and I recently visited Castle Hill Farm to see their Sunflower Stroll. First we stopped off in their farm stand which was filled with all sorts of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, corn, peppers, squash, cucumbers, and even local honey. We decided to purchase some delicious looking Graffiti Eggplant as well as a handmade candle that had an intoxicating vanilla aroma. Afterwards we headed into the Sunflower Stroll. Our son had so much fun looking at all of the pretty flowers and pointing out all of the bees. Co-owner Stephanie Kearns told us about other things the farm will be offering in the coming months, including hayrides, the pumpkin patch, and other Fall Fun activities. Autumn is our favorite time of year so we'll definitely be back! Get out and see the Sunflower Stroll while you still can!

They have several comfortable seating areas to relax and gather with Friends and Family. Outdoor seating and a pool are also on site. The rooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable with a microwave and fridge. I would say map out where the elevators or exit doors are in relationship to your room to minimize long walks(unless you like long walks). Danbury is a beautiful New England town with pubs and quaint shops to visit. I wish I would have had more time to explore. My Family is just a hop and a skip away in Hartford so I shall return.

Front desk is not professional and does not stay at their desk (even during working hours) requiring you to wait several minutes almost every time just to ask them a question. When they are available, they're clearly stressed and rude. They're not accommodating and do not provide a hospitable environment. The cleaning staff went into our room (even after we told them not to) and took our towels and then didn't replace them with clean ones... By the time we were ready to shower (around 8:30pm), the cleaning crew had gone home for the night. We asked the front desk for new towels, and they gave us towels from the pool that were old and bleached with the comment that "it's all they had"... (see photos). Mind you, we did not request room service. They entered our room and took our towels without our permission. They did not make the bed or empty the trash. It appears they simply came in to take our towels. Me and my family members all booked rooms here (4 totally different rooms, all on different floors) for a wedding and none of us were happy/impressed with the conditions of our room. From toilets screaming all through the night to a smell of mold throughout, it was a completely different experience from what the online photos showed. The front desk and cleaners do have to deal with a lot of people during the wedding season, which I understand is difficult, but maybe if the rooms were nicer and actually worth their prices, it could be more justifiable... I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you are aiming for a clean or pleasant experience... At this point, a Holiday Inn or Motel 6 would've been better to stay at as you at least get what you pay for there. (All of these are based on my personal experience only).

When we arrived we were told it would be just a few minutes as we were early. No problem! We had no agenda so that was completely fine. There was literally no contact with anyone. We kept poking our heads around to make sure they knew we were there. The worst part was there were numerous open tables. I would've been fine had they sat us as given us some water vs. just waiting in the waiting room Once we were seated, our waitress was as pleasant as anyone could be. Very very kind. We ordered the winter tea service and started out with the tea sandwiches. They were very tasty as was the tea. Because we were so hungry we finished everything before the scones arrived. Once they arrived, they nice and warm which was a nice touch. However, the inside was still raw and doughy. I picked around it as best I could. The pianist was a nice addition. I just wish, especially with this being a surprise that it would have a better experience.
