Ok. I made an appointment a month in advance to ensure a…read morefirst appointment in the morning. Office opens up at 9am. My appointment was scheduled for 915am. Upon arriving i filled out the necessary paperwork from 9am to about 912am. While i was filling out my paperwork a lady came in and checked in. She said she was there to see dr. Emory. At 930am. Office worker at 915 asked for that lady to come in. I asked the idiot behind the glass if maybe she didnt realize i was there first. Also my appointment was first. Also, it is my appointment time 915. ??? She actually mumbled the lady is a current patient, lol something i would also become 5 minutes later if they would let me. I guess my money isnt green enough. So i demand to speak to the owner or manager of the practice. After i made my case and the idiots all around the office seen the injustice that was about to happen the dr finally smartens up. So i thought. Mind you i missed work to accomplish an allergy test or schedule one. Not to endure these idiots and certainly not to become their buddy. Dr emory rushes the appointment because the lady actually had to wait for her 930 appointment was waiting lol. Maybe she shouldn't of arrived until 930. That's a thought. Also the dr continuing to be an ignorant fool carries out no such apponitmenr. No such evaluation. No questions. No care. No brains. Schedules an appointment with another dr for some stupid reason and DOES NOT schedule an allergy test. I like how they like to spend my money. I really enjoyed be ing treated like an outsider. Zero respect Dr emory is a lowclass participant of society. He is not to be trusted. He actually acted as though he FORBID me from finding out if I'm allergic to anything. He also acted like there was an exciting party drug i can obtain or gain from being allergic. Dr papazian better be more caring andh intelligent than his partner dr emory. Otherwise i am going to the attorney general and bring their whole circus to light for all to see. Something ironic to mention. As embarressing as it is to admit ive been suffering for 30 plus year. I felt as though i was taking a big step in my life to live in peace. Love life more. Enjoy life more. Dr emory actually with a scowl and an attitude stated to the effect, you never seen a doctor for this prior to this???? Like the ass he is. They will offer you zero dignity. Question you as if they have the right. Not provide you the services you demanded . and i still have not been called by this other referral. so dont waste your time and if you do go through this very situation contact the attorney general and put a formal complaint. The more complaints we register at the attorney generals office the faster we all can get better.

DO NOT LET DR. MARTIN PAPAZIAN DO ANY TYPE OF SURGERY ON YOU. I had a septoplasty with turbinate…read morereduction a few years ago and have been suffering ever since because he reduced my turbinates too much. I got a second opinion after suffering from chronic headaches, stuffiness, and a very dry nose. I forgot to mention that I also had mercer after the surgery that another doctor in the practice discovered thankfully!! Dr. Papazian's bedside manner is horrible as he acted like I was bothering him when I had to go back time after time with issues....do yourself a favor and stay away!! The staff seems miserable and thank god I didn't listen to Jean the nurse when I was telling her my symptoms which she said was normal....well normal turned out to be mercer!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!!

Dr. Newberry is an excellent doctor. I came to him in December of 2022, having had pulsatile…read moretinnitus in my left ear for six months. Before meeting with Dr. Newberry, I had seen several other providers (an NP, an MD, and a PA) through other organizations and they all either dismissed the seriousness of my symptoms as anxiety and allergies, or misdiagnosed me with an ear infection or Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Dr. Newberry's approach was completely different. He was the first doctor who actually took me seriously. He was immediately concerned because it turns out persistent one-sided pulsatile tinnitus can be a symptom of a very serious and potentially dangerous condition called a dural AV fistula; however, while he mentioned the possibility of a dAVF (among other conditions), he also didn't jump to conclusions. He was very thorough. Over the course of a few months, we did some blood work, scans, and tests to figure out what might be causing it. When one of those scans finally came back abnormal, Dr. Newberry provided an immediate referral for me to see a neuroradiologist who eventually diagnosed me with a dural AV fistula. Dural AV fistulas are rare and complex, and I say this to point out that Dr. Newberry didn't let this deter him; he didn't discount a dAVF as a possible diagnosis, despite the fact it was unlikely because I didn't have any headaches at the time (a hallmark symptom of dural AV fistulas). I'm so grateful to him because other providers obviously dismissed the possibility that I had such a rare condition, probably because it was simply unlikely. Had I not seen Dr. Newberry, it's very possible this condition might have gone undiagnosed and led to a stroke or brain hemorrhage in a decade or so; alternately, it could have eventually led to a misdiagnosis of dementia or other neurological conditions due to the impact it can have on cognitive functioning. In general, Dr. Newberry is very easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner. He's a good listener, and I would describe him as highly competent and on the cutting edge of ENT medicine. As someone who has been repeatedly let down by medical providers over the years, I find myself trusting his opinion. He can see the big picture as well as the details, and never loses sight of the fact that his patient is a human being. My experience with Rhode Island ENT as an organization has also been great. I have found it very easy to schedule appointments with them. The receptionists and medical assistants are pleasant and competent. They send appointment reminder text messages which is helpful. I have never had any issue with them forgetting to order a prescription or send in a referral, or any hiccups with insurance. Though I do remember experiencing some initial frustration trying to schedule an appointment as a new patient due to the call routing, since I've become a patient, I've found it very easy to work with them.

The second time they canceled they said someone called me, but I had no message. They could not provide the time or day that the message was left. I give her a 10 star. The two window 'receptionist' on the other hand I give a 0 (zero). At check-in I noticed a misspelling in our street name. When I told her about it, she never made the correction. (The doctor's assistant actually made the correction). After the appointment, the only reason that in approached the counter was to get a doctor's excuse for the visit. I asked the young lady for Doctor note. After searching for ever she told us that we had a copay. Not a problem but you would think to ask for copay before appointment. I told her that had we not needed a doctors note to get back to school today, I would not have stopped at the window. After paying, she asked if I needed a doctors note. When I told her that that's why we stopped at the window and that was my original request, she said 'so, let me know if we have an attitude. Because that sign (posted on their window) says that we are understaffed and we are not taking attitude from anyone.' At that point I stopped and said, 'thank you. I need a doctors note so he can go back to school.' She printed out the note and we ran off to get my son back to classes. Before giving my son the note to take into school, the note allows him to go back to school tomorrow. Not only are these young ladies incompetent, but they are rude. The doctor is excellent, but the window receptionists need an attitude adjustment.

Then had to reschedule appointment. On hold for 35 minutes, got an idiot who insisted I needed to see a doctor first. Finally got them to understand I needed my normal six month hearing aid adjustment. So, they connected me to a voice mail, out of office. Go anywhere else, they are impossible to deal with! Oh, and I see doctor once a year, spends 5 minutes with me, looks in my ears, teaks me I'm ok, charges $25 copay and hundreds to insurance.
