This was the first target store I ever visited when I moved to USA many years ago. I did that impress me a lot less century, but today I was impressed by the light, the cleanliness, the space and the presentation. For the staff, many of them very young, or very old. Working example as the whole area is full of life with many restaurants and shops. Clientele seemed decent no drama. I left this place with good vibes probably because when I visited in the afternoon, the window of the store are sunset facing so it was flooded with light. Probably the best time to come visit here would be before sunset. read more

We purposefully go to this target above others in our area despite the little extra drive. It has a huge selection of household items and groceries which makes it easy to grab everything in one go. It seems to be well staffed and things are usually fully stocked, we've seldom had issues finding anything. Their prices are comparable to any other target and often cheaper than the target in downtown Minneapolis or by the university of Minnesota. We were able to get everything we needed and have a friendly experience with the cashier last evening. We additionally shopped in the liquor store as well which was a fun and helpful stop at the end of our grocery trip. read more

Pros: - They have recently renovated this store and it certainly shows. It has much more of a clean, trendy, open layout and vibe. - They added a liquor store with their latest remodel which is extremely convenient - Their in-store order pickup is easy to use and easy to return to - They have a self checkout on each end of the store so you don't have to hike down to one end to get a fast pass through only to walk all the way back Cons: - Absolutely the worst produce selection I've ever had. I refuse to buy perishable goods from this location. The broccoli is ALWAYS wilted and soggy and the vegetables go bad within a few days. read more

I love the new design, color, illumination, etc. All the time I come here for eggs I have to buy more stuff because this store invites you to keep buying hehehe. Workers here are very nice and helpful, you can find everything right away... they have liquor store, Starbucks, optical, minute clinic and a lot of self checkout. read more

It's Target. It generally has what I want and need. I've become good at not buying stuff I don't actually need, so I can get in and out pretty quickly. While their self-check out process still needs some work (I hate to use Walmart as a good example of anything - but this works better at their stores), it has enhanced exiting the store to be less tedious. For whatever reason, Target has cut down on the number of open registers and their lines look more like the Evil Empire (Walmart) than they should. read more

Today I finally got out of the house with my newborn for a little shopping at this location & I had the worst experience because I felt watched the whole time I was there. I worked retail in the past and I know the techniques employers use to approach people who look like they're stealing. I understand that's there job but I felt awkward knowing that they suspected I was stealing. And the cashier had a moody attitude with me when I checked out. I Love the store because is clean and organized but I felt judge I don't know if it was because of my appearance or my slow shopping or the fact that I like to go through every isle or that my baby's car seat was in the cart idk. This is the strangest target. Even with a lot of activity on a Sunday, it's extremely quiet. Agree with Samuel about the food sales, especially pop. I never know where to turn in and always come in the back way behind the Culver's. But that's okay, it's not crowded by the dumpster at all. I'd be here a lot more often if my beloved Timberlodge hadn't shut down. This is an area that is clearly coming back. Much more civilized than the nearby Walmart. read more

I think when I shop at Target, I am reminded of the tyranny of capitalism. I feel like I should buy cheap quality junk that I don't even need. That aside, this West St. Paul Target Store is pretty clean. Workers seemed somewhat happy and also helpful. I didn't have to wait in line long to check out. I found everything I needed. I appreciate the grocery section with a full selection of fresh produce. Some things were difficult for me to find, but maybe if I shopped there more than once every 6 months I would know where to go for what. read more

I love you, Target. I love you with the intensity of a billion naked suns engaging in a sweltering celestial orgy. That being said, Target is a lot like sex in the sense that even when it's bad, it's good. This particular location isn't dropping any panties but it's still clean, well-stocked, bright and magnetic to pleasant clientele. For an area like WSP that seems to chronically attract the opposite, that's damned near miraculous. Ever since the Rainbow next door decided to ditch us all and leave us with shitty ass Cub, I've been doing a lot more grocery shopping at this location. Apart from lacking a few specialty items (harissa, tahini, sesame oil... etc), they've got a good selection at prices way lower than their competitors. Let's just do a quick breakdown of their store brands, shall we? - Simply Balanced: Organic, delicious and cheap. Eat ALL the things. - Market Pantry: Fina-fucking-ly. A 'generic' that's usually better than its name brand counterparts. - Archer Farms: Again... usually better, although in some cases, curiously more expensive than name brands. However, most importantly, I don't feel like a despondent hobo dumpster diving indoors when I plop one of these into my cart. I mean, I'm a bargain sniffer, but the Everyday Essentials bullshit from Cub just looks like government rations, doesn't it? "Sorry about the plague. Here's your husk-filled can of grey foot corns with an intentionally unattractive label." And who the fuck ever felt good about a Great Value item? HELL NAW. Target also always has really good sales going on peppered throughout their individual departments. It's always a good idea to hit up the clothes a couple weeks before a major season change to snag stuff for up to 80% off. They donate their unsold/mildly damaged merchandise to Goodwill; that's a lot more than that shifty yellow smiley fuckwit manages to do. Anyway, my love for Target aside, this is the best run place in WSP. read more

Target has disappointed me for the last time. I suffered through the renovation this past summer; trying to find items, poorly marked aisles, narrow aisles, and empty shelves. Ok, I figured it would get better once they are fully back up to speed. Needless to say, it has not gotten better and this is the fourth time in a row I have said "never again". I had a list of 5 items today and 4 of the five were not in stock. two of those items have not been in stock for at least the last 5 visits, which equals 5 weeks. I get so frustrated seeing the little sticker that tells me what should be there, but isn't. again. I thought i'd never do it, but I'm trying Walmart located about one block away from this Target to test my frustration levels. read more

This is probably my favorite target store in the TC. It is in fact a super target and it really is far bigger than the average store. It has a nice, large selection of groceries to choose from which appear to be fairly fresh. Towards the back is clothes and household items. There's a fairly usual selection of target products here but it is all done in a good way which makes you want to shop here. I found the customer service to be friendly and personable which really really influences my opinion on a place. read more

I like Target. While the store is very stale, generic, and corporate, the deals barely make up for it. It's nice having the full grocery store, in case I need to grab a few things (creamers are cheap!!). Buyer beware I bought some blank Cd's for 14.95 when I got home I realized I did not need them so I when to return them but I could not find the recipe ok I had some other things to pick up so I thought a in store credit (gift card) Now keep in mind the package was never opened. I was told because I could not find the receipt or the card I purchased the Cd's with I would only get 1.95 for the return... I told the kid behind the counter I paid cash and she said sorry nothing I can do.... Since they remodeled I cannot find anything. They've narrowed the aisles and raised their prices. It feels like they have decreased stocking various products. Staff walk around mindlessly and do not know anything when you ask them the simplest question like, where can I find plastic sandwich bags. One guy took me down 5 aisles before we got there...and from where we started he took the long route. I've been going to Walmart more often, though I would prefer not to. And lines have been getting longer. They used to say that's why they're better than Walmart because they open more check-out lines but not the case lately. Get your act together Target. The store is really clean & they clean their registers between customers. I love the plastic carts. But Target really makes me mad. Because I keep having to go to Walmart. Target charges $16 for my Thera tears eye drops & Walmart charges $12. I could understand paying a little more, but not $4 more. I had to get my vitamins today & I highly doubt Target had Azo ones or if they did, they wouldn't be the same price. I should look next time. What makes me the most mad is that they don't even have 24 packs of pop like Walmart does for $7.50. When you live up 27 stairs, you can't be carrying 2 12 packs. I had to go to Walmart today & that store is disgusting. But Target seriously needs to get with it & get the stuff & prices close enough so I don't have to go to gross Walmart. read more

Save yourself! Don't use this location! I cannot believe someone stole my debit card number and withdraw $100 in Brooklyn Park. Thankfully it was deposit back somehow but the thief managed to order a pair of shorts online and have it sent to my home address. This occurred before Thanksgiving day. They are TERRIBLE at answering the store phone. i was waiting for 2 minutes for them to answer, they directed me to a different department and no one picked up. I was transferred back to the main operator who again, did not pick up. I ended up ending the call. Ridiculous guest service. I really enjoy going to this Target. Yes, they get busy, but the staff I have met are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy going there much better than the other stores in the area. They keep it a lot cleaner and more organized and the food is better quality. Plus, they have a lot of sales. A couple of weeks ago, the employees explained the debit card program they have. I never knew that Target had a Debit card version of the RED card. Best of all, you can still save 5% every visit and you can get free shipping online, without having to sign up for a credit card. It was a no-brainer! Signing up was fast and easy. Recently, I also visited the optical center for an examination of a recommendation. The eye doctor seemed young, but did a great job with my exam. I had been over-prescribed at my last provider. Since she corrected it, I am seeing great and avoiding headaches. Every employee I have encountered so far is nice and helpful! read more

Exchanged a silver Bose Soundlink Mini II speaker for a black one + returned an iPod. Staff couldn't get iPod bar code to scan and had to call in help. A line behind me started piling up and I felt super bad but the staff kept apologizing to me for my wait and I kept apologizing to them for being a pain. Eventually everything got taken care of and they even gave me a gift card because they felt bad it took so long. Again, totally not necessary and they went above and beyond for me! The manager was probably one of the rudest people I've ever met. I simply asked if they would match the price they quoted online (not on cartwheel) and she was very aggressive and extremely rude when telling me no. I then went to a different target and they matched their price online and the manager was much more polite. read more

This is where i do all of my grocery shopping and get the things i need for day to day. They send me mailers for $5 off a $30 grocery bill and they have a great deal on lunch meat: Buy a pound and a half of meat and you get a half pound of cheese for free. I save $10 on most of my trips out here and keep coming back. Very clean and efficient store. read more

You failed me this week. Why did you have to sell out your pharmacy to CVS? Their supply chain evidently is inadequate to the task of servicing your customers. Last week, according to my doctor it was Tuesday or Wednesday, he approved an order for my prescription. On Friday, I heard from the pharmacy, saying it would not be in until Monday. On Monday I was told that the truck didn't have it, check in on Tuesday. Tuesday, I got the same response this time with a grumble on my end of the phone, hoping to inspire action. But on Wednesday, when I stopped by the physical store, it wasn't there and the counterperson promised me that the supplier was to blame and that she would go right to the manufacturer and have it to me today at 4pm. I walked into the store at 5:45pm today and it wasn't there. The pharmacist on duty said he called it in, but it sounded like he waited until today rather than making good on the counter person's promise What if this were something I would die without? I don't want to go back to Walgreens - I want to believe in a store that is anti-smoking, but why would I consider staying with someone, in the age of Amazon Prime, who can't deliver on their promises? read more

It isn't the best Target in terms of service, but that is mainly due to the traffic that runs through this location. It is really a busy location and if you can get past that it is a good Target. It has everything that you need with groceries, Starbucks, and normal Target amenities. read more

I have been doing most of my grocery shopping here since it re-opened as a Super Target in 2005. The selection has always been acceptable, and the prices great. In the beginning, the store was clean and well stocked. Over the years, this store has deteriorated in service. No matter what time of day I go there, about 15% of the shelves are bare. Lately they have been struggling to keep even basic stuff in stock, like broccoli, bananas, butter, etc. On busy Saturdays and Sundays, store employees constantly have aisle blocked with carts trying to stock shelves, making the store difficult to navigate. It wouldn't be so bad if they were actually restocking the out of stock items, but they never are. Also, a while back they reconfigured the store to combine two of the busiest isles - bread and cereal - into one extra-narrow aisle. No matter what time of day, getting anything from this aisle is nothing short of a special-forces mission. It's disappointing to see this location deteriorate so much, but they can't be beat in terms of price and quality. read more
