Oh the lovely Target . How I love to come to your store to pick up travel essentials, essentials for my home , sometimes the groceries depending on the deals , & the large vast of electronics and clothes . This place is awesome and continues to impress me as other stores don't . One of the great things about this store is the fact that it's large and they always have some sort of promotion depending on the month . It can be like buy 3 and get a free $5 gift card or even buy 1 get 1 free for items you won't see anywhere else for that price . One of the flaws is some of the broader items are more expensive than other places but that's where you say to yourself I will buy from somewhere else Overall target is a great place to shop no matter if you are looking for sweets , essentials , or electronics . The store itself is fine. However, it somehow took my wife and I forever to find this place. It feels so tucked away an in the back. For awhile we started to think that it wasn't even there and they just hadn't taken the sign down on the street. Turns out there are 2 different entrances into this center and we unfortunately came in on the other one. They really should either mark it better or just get rid of the street sign we saw when driving by. read more

Wait times in the checkout lanes have been unnecessarily long and when cashiers do make it to the front, there isn't a method to serving the people that have already been waiting in line. Random people just walking up to the checkout area jump right into the newly opened lanes and just make me seethe silently. How can you every go wrong with target?! Minus always coming out with things you didn't need. This target is on the smaller size. The parking lot is a lot more packed now that they remodeled the 24 hour fitness right next to it. I love the fact that they added a Starbucks in this target. I come to target often, but felt the need to update my review because the cashier who helped me yesterday was so good it deserves recognition. I think her name was Emily, a young cashier with blond hair. She was courteous, greeted me promptly with eye contact and bagged my items fast. This was a great difference, as the last time I was in the store the cashier acted like it was my job to bag my items and when he did bag them he was the slowest cashier I had ever experienced. And to make matters worst, I got in his line because the previous cashier I was in line for did not even greet the customer in front of him and was clearly in a bad mood to help customers at the registers. Coming from the south on Fallbrook: turn left on Victory, then turn into the Ralphs parking lot and go straight up until you see Home Depot. Turn into the left lane and follow until it ends. Turn right, go up a few hundred feet. You'll see the parking lot. Coming from the north on Fallbrook: turn left on Vanowen. Go up Vanowen a bit until you see the turn in for the Mall parking lot. Turn left into it. You'll see Chuck E. Cheese. Target is up a ways past Chuck E. Cheese. I'm glad everyone, or mostly everyone, is shopping at the new Supertarget because this one has less people. Yay :) I simply hate shopping. I like to get in, find the deals, and get out. I like Target, this one anyway, because it has all the things I need. It has a large enough inventory to give me enough choices, and a small enough inventory so I'm not aggravated after 20 minutes of trying to find something. We've been living in this area since '92, and whenever we need something, we always go here first. The clothes I've gotten at Target are a good quality for the price. They've lasted for a long time with regular washing. Unless you're buying known brands like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom, Levis, etc, you could probably find cheaper clothes at Walmart. But the quality is cheaper too. I don't think I've ever had to return any clothes. But if you need to return *anything*, they take it back with a receipt, always. I wear t-shirts, sweats, sandals and sneakers. You know, comfy clothes. But I do know women that have gotten more feminine clothing and shoes at Target and were very happy with them. They have a pharmacy, garden section outside, and a small place to have a pretzel or hotdog. And you can always find the most prominent deals on the endcaps. Always look for the red tags, those are the lowest prices. I love the price scanners and use them a lot. Just because something has one price, use the scanners anyway to check the price. You might get pleasantly surprised :) I've asked, and they've told me at this store that they aren't closing it down just because they opened the Supertarget. I hope they don't! I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the Supertarget. But if all you need are a few things and don't want to have to deal with mall-type department store crowds and two stories of unending items, this Target is for you. Definitely has wheelchair access and a ramp from the parking lot. read more

You have to be crazy not to like Target. Anybody can go in to get a beach towel and walk out spending $700 on a bedroom set. The Fallbrook location is great and after their remodel, it is nice and clean and includes a produce section. This single story location is well laid out and makes it easy to find everything creating a good flow for shopping. read more

I came here during Halloween time.. and there was like literally a whirlwind of stuff everywhere. It wasn't that clean and it was late at night. A lot of aisles had random carts and the Halloween section destroyed. Granted the toy section was a bit messy too. I was really coming here for Tsum Tsums by Disney and at least that was decently organized. I looked at the womens and little girls section and they were organized decently as well. Overall there wasn't anything that made this Target special to me. I'm just glad that there was a Target. read more

Out of all the Targets in the land, this one is by far the best. I come here pretty often. It's almost always quiet. I know where things are. The staff does a great job at keeping things tidy. On my last visit I was extremely impressed by the cashier who rung me up. I wish I got her name... I will check receipts and call the store later. Despite it being so busy, she was warm, engaging and so helpful. She took the time to walk me through their new 'cart wheel' ap. She waited while I did this on my phone and helped me set my account up. She insisted that I did this because of the items I was buying that day. Well... The verdict ? $50 off for down loading an ap! Didn't even know Target was doing this whole new discount program! What amazed me the most was her thoughtfulness and patience to help me...regardless of the busy rush. I was ready to pay full price for everything and she pushed me to take the time in line and save some extra cash. Really made my day. Took customer service to a personal level and I was thrilled walking out of the store. Why? Because........It's so rare these days!!! She was a breath of fresh air!!! read more

This is a great store and it has a great selection of items. It's smaller than some other Target locations but they keep the departments stocked and tidy. You won't find merchandise just lying on the floor or unkempt. Bob is is our favorite cashier. He's always helpful and cheery and such a great worker and by far among the best this store offers. Would advise coming to this Target instead of any other for helpful staff and organized selection. read more

Hey Target! Do you really not want me to spend money at your store? This morning at 10 am it was nearly impossible to check out, so I left. There was only one cashier open (along with self serve checkout), who politely told me his line was closed. I pointed out that there were no other lines open and asked if it was required to go through self check out? The clerk in charge of watching the self serve told him she couldn't leave her post. The other three people nearby ignored the situation. When "back up" (?) help was requested, a line (#9) was opened, then we were asked to move again, because the register wasn't functioning. By this time I was in my third check out line (#11), and with all the relocating, two others weaseled in front of me. Then, in the midst of a transaction, it was discovered that there was no cash in the cash register, so we were told to move AGAIN. No... not to a fourth line after placing my large order on the counter.... I left it all. On a positive note, one of the clerks in the self check out told me to have a nice day. Thanks! This store is a joke!! Twice now I've tried to use their drive up pick up service!! Why have it? It's a joke!! Unless you want nothing fresh they won't have the item available!! But I still was willing to try it...placed my order at 745p on a Saturday night and a total of 7-8 items!!! The site implied they were processing it and would notify me when ready for pick!! Two hours later and 15 minutes before they close not told anything!! No email no nothing!!! Call the store and the guy says still processing!!! Like why am I calling!! I said you close in 10 minutes so when do you plan on me getting it?? Should be ready tomorrow!!! Seriously??? I cancelled the order!! And it is now too late to go anywhere else!!! Horrendous horrendous service!!! Not so much as a sorry !! We were stupid and should have told you online it takes over 2 hours to process a request for 7 items!!! But no apology!! Nothing!! It's my go-to Target, even though it's not as stocked with the newest of items, but I'll take that when I need the basics. The huge parking lot helps too. One thing I've noticed here is that they hardly ever have the up and coming trendy must-haves that you'll find in other Targets nearby. Looking for the new designer for Target collaboration (Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurang, Peter Pilotto)? You won't really find it here. Another rotten experience at Target in West Hills. On Saturday I spent $138.00 in this,store but didn't have the $10.00 coupon with ne. I brought back the receipt and asked the manager on Thursday if I could still get the savings card. Well Ashton said no. I explained I was in Chemo on Monday and Tuesday couldn't come back. Then I went to ask an entire group of talking Target employees which included a supervisor. I tried to ask if they have plant food they pointed towards an isle and said they didn't think so!! First very unprofessional, second they could have looked it up especially with a group of giggling employees. With cancer it's very hard for me to walk all the way to the end if thier store. 8/12/16: If I was a billionaire, I'd still shop at Target! Over the years it's become more and more of a one-stop-shop, and the quality of their products has improved immensely. I tend to frequent this one as it is right next to the gym I go to. This location is never too busy when I go and while they only open a limited number of lines, I really don't wait too long. If they happen to be out of what I'm looking for there, there are 2 more locations within close proximity- all with Starbucks! As for the Cartwheel app: eh. I guess it's ok if you remember to use it before you check out, but if not, you really don't save too much. In my experience it breaks down to maybe $3 I think. (That's about what I saved the last time and my total came to $111.) At the end of the day, however, Target prices are reasonable. There will be times items may be cheaper elsewhere but the gas and time I save only going to Target (in my opinion) cancels that out. read more

So disappointed I've been a customer for years and the customer service is terrible now. I wanted earrings and a girl came over with attitude and said sorry to be the bearer of bad news we can't open it for you. I asked for the manager and the girl told me well she will tell you the same thing. I asked her why they don't just remove the case if they can't open It and she said it was not her responsibility. Seriously? I'm not interested in going back and listening to the teens who check me out complain with their peers and not even acknowledge me and the final straw was the homeless pandering in the parking lot and the needle I had to have my child step over in the parking lot. I always feel like this target is really low on inventory most of the time. The customer service is horrible and the lack of cashiers within the past year have declined tremendously. There were 2 cashiers there today with about 20 people in line. Finally, I decided to leave my cart and business and walk out. I'm really sick of having to wait 20 minutes to checkout. REALLY? This Target keeps going downhill. On my last two visits here last week and this week, I found numerous EXPIRED food items. Protein drinks expired in May and the same for other products. This Target also does a poor job of monitoring customers who don't wear masks. There's a bored employee at the entrance who is always glued to her or his phone and few employees are to be found throughout the store. Every time I've visited this location, customers have been left pleading with customers to put on their masks when this should be the job of Target's employees. Yes, Target, train your employees to monitor customers. Train your employees to do their jobs. Train your employees to do inventory and take out expired items. Note: This is an older, small Target so aisles are narrower and one way aisles are not enforced. Neither is social distancing, except at a bare minimal, at the register. read more

There are three Targets near me. This one is the worst. It seems smallish and disorganized. There are never enough cashiers. Never. Which is odd, because there never seems to be any shortage of people in red shirts standing around chatting with each other. I frequently shop at this particular Target and have never had a problem. Today however I was treated very rudely and my experience was less than favorable. Target has these offers that if you buy 3 of this or that you get a free gift card . Well I did and I admit I got the wrong item oops . Well Johnny told me very rudely that I should have read the coupon tag better .
