I am not a big fan of Target, especially of the mega Targets. The parking lot is a hot mess (getting into and out of), the service is "meh" and the employees don't seem happy to see and serve the customers. The selection is ok, but many of the size that I need for my boys are not to be found. The products are overpriced, so the value for the money is lower. Your experience may vary, but I removed 1 star for service, 1 more star for lack of a selection (in this case clothing and sizes that fit) and one more star for the parking and crowd control. read more

This store in Watauga is just so-so for a target. I was a bit disappointed in their stock. I even grabbed the last 4 beef gullets for my pups. I couldn't find a spoon with slats for draining....except for a cheap one in the college section. Very odd that they have limited kitchen utensils. I found a couple things I was looking for. Meh. Then at checkout, I got a young guy who has no volume in his voice. As he was checking things, I thought the price seemed very high. I asked if something rang through multiple times. He swiped the screen and said nothing. So I asked again, he swiped, hit the screen twice, and still said nothing. After a few minute I asked if something rang through multiple times, and without looking up he replied "Yeh". So weird. The store was t the cleanest I've seen, which is fairly unusual for Target. I'm not a Target fan, but an Influencer showed a Christmas item that I wanted and I placed an online order for pick up. I came one morning and stood for close to 10 minutes at the pickup counter with nobody coming out to check on me and no checkers for me to ask For assistance. I walked out without picking up my item. This kind of lack of customer service is why I will never shop at target again. You'd never see this at any of the Walmarts where I live. read more

I usually come here to check out the dollar area. There are plenty of places to park. I didn't notice people not wearing a mask, however if you are that concerned, curbside pickup is always an option. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of toys, knickknacks, books, organization supplies, decor and stationery available. The self check out wait was non-existent which was nice. Let me start by saying, customer service these days just isn't what it used to be. I have been in customer service my whole life and I will never understand why an employee would treat any polite customer the way I was treated. I love this location as a whole, however I will NEVER go to the pharmacy here again. I went to this location to drop off a prescription for my daughter who had just been seen by the dentist. I was in a good mood, running errands and taking care of some things. My husband and I walked up to the pharmacy counter (there was no one in line), and we stood there patiently waiting. We allowed a few minutes to pass and still no one came to assist or acknowledge us. We saw someone behind the desk in the back, but she was on a computer and didn't even acknowledge that we were standing there. We see another associate (Svetla) come from the left and still no acknowledgement. Instead of assisting us, she began (what seemed like) putting some things up in the back but still did not come to assist or let us she would be with us momentarily. Finally, I spoke up and said in a very patient kind voice, "excuse me, is there anyone that can assist us". Svetla comes over with the worst attitude rolling her eyes and stood there. I told her we just needed to drop off our daughters prescription. She held her hand out and snatched the prescription paper out of my hand rolling her eyes again and walked to the back as if she was looking for a prescription. (In total disbelief) I politely said excuse me again and asked for my prescription back, told her that her attitude was horrible and ended up going to the Walmart on Beach to get it filled. I have never experienced such horrible unprovoked rudeness like this before. I was very nice, kind, and patient and I definitely did not deserve being overlooked, or treated that way. I truly hope Svetla doesn't treat anyone else like that because that was horrible. I did speak to a manger before we left who apologized and took my information down and told us our soda was on her. If this is who you have behind the counter at the pharmacy in Target, I'd expect a lot more bad reviews about their lack of customer service and horrible attitudes. How is it that I found better customer service at Walmart? Horrible and a shame. read more

Probably the worst target to ever exist. The staff here is so rude and make you feel like you're constantly doing something wrong. I tried to ask for assistance since my gift card didn't attach to my transaction and the girl at guest service told me I could go to a regular register and blew me off. At self checkout I had the employee breathing down my neck over an air fryer protection plan that I didn't want and have never experienced anything like what I do at this location. Susan is an amazing employee, she's helped me more than once (though I'm sure she probably didn't recognize me haha) and always goes above and beyond to give me info on clearance and deals and finding stuff in the back. Epitome of great service! My trip was made even better when an extra nice (sorry I forgot to catch her name..but she had glasses and great hair) employee was restocking the toy area and when I asked her if she was restocking a certain toy she was able to scan the barcode and said "yes! I'll be right back!" and stopped what she was doing to grab a box for me. Then at self checkout another sweet employee (Morgan? I think? She has red hair) saw me looking at a bro hire about Red Card and explained about the new app they have where you can earn money from receipts and showed me on her phone how to Sign up and how it works. Guest service has always been helpful. Store is clean and merchandise stocked. Target has strived for offering a variety and a little something for everyone and every occasion. Sometimes the prices are higher than others around, but it all depends on what's important to you and how convenient you need it. It's easier to find product in here than other stores. Target loves to take your money when you buy things but Lord help you if you need customer service! I have SEVERAL times called this location to let the phone ring at Customer Service over three minutes to hang up and try a few minutes later. This time it rings Customer Service close to 4 minutes and they pickup and hang up without saying a word! I have to purchase online and pickup in store for personal reasons, that goes smoothly. But I have had questions only they can answer and cannot get through. I call the 800 Customer Service phone number. They say wait time is 10 minutes. After waiting 14 I hang up. If I can purchase my items elsewhere I will. Very discouraged this store repeatedly has this same phone issue time and again. Shame on you, happy to take our money but string us along if we need anything by phone. Very hard for me to show up at the store with waiting, hard to do physically. Not happy Target, this keeps happening with you phone Customer Service. read more

It is totally inexcusable for this location to constantly be completely out of alcohol based cleaning supplies. The employees, older white lady, said something to me in the self checkout less than 6 ft away and did not have a face cover. I bet you she gave me the virus. This is the WORST location. I'm not sure when Jaryn B. came to this SuperTarget, but that's not exactly what I experienced (or have experienced in the past). Yeah, I'll agree that the parking situation stinks and I'm sure that place is busy at times, but that whole area (Denton Hwy.) is busy so.... I'm not sure if you can fault Target for that. I guess if you want a calmer SuperTarget you could go to the one on Davis / Precinct Line. The store didn't look dirty at the time I went, and I've rarely ever had any associate greet me at any Target (besides a cashier) so this place is about par for the course. Yes, the grocery selection is spotty, but it's a department store with a grocery store attached (not the other way around). If you want more selection, go to convenient Albertson's across the street. All in all, this is just a typical SuperTarget in a busy area, so don't expect too much as far as personal service. read more

It is a dizziness of products which can overpowering unless you know the products. I just started reusing this store brand. Last night my boyfriend and I went in to go summer clothes shopping. Him and I both have allot of tattoos and because of this we sometimes get profiled, however until last night I'd never received such a level of disrespect based on how I looked. Our shopping experience was great until we went to check out. One of the ladies that stood at the end of the registers (she was older, short, and had short black hair) decided to move and stand right behind the cashier after we walked past her. So she saw us and decided to closely see how our transaction would go. This isn't the biggest issue however it was very obvious we were being watched. It's our turn in line and the cashier starts to scan our things. The woman pulls him back and very poorly whispers "if they pay with cash double check it". I couldn't believe she would say something like that right in front of us!! She then proceeded to try and sell me some store credit card thing and I had to tell her no more than once about it. You've just insulted me and now you want to upsell me.. seriously?? I decided to pay with my hard earned REAL cash just to see what she would do. The cashier checked it and she had to double check it too and goly gee! It was real! I made sure to wish her a wonderful night! From now on I will shop elsewhere and you guys can keep your crap ass views on tattooed people. read more

When your order is ready (check your email or online in your orders) drive to target, park in one of the designated spots out front, open your app and let them know you're there. Much better store than any Wal-Mart. Safer with less sketchy clientele, less crowded. We are senior citizens so feeling personally safe and secure becomes an issue. Cashiers seem to be nicer as well. We waited less than 3 minutes for the person to be checked out ahead of us whereas if you choose to be checked out elsewhere it's 10 or 15 minutes. This was around 8 30 at night so it might be more crowded during the day. This might be the reason for more cheerful employees Store and parking lot is cleaner as well. Prices are about the same as Walmart and lower on a lot of items than Kroger's. Patty and I haven't been to KR in about a month since she saw how much price differential there is. When we go for a walk at the nearby park and then come here on the Denton Highway we kill two stones with one bird. This happens to be a Super Target so in the grocery section there are more items that I personally buy than at a regular Target. Good job TAR JAY ! read more

The young man who does the carts always has a smile and welcomes every person. Good selection of product in grocery. A little pricey. Every employee I went by asked if I was finding everything I needed. This is a big plus. The only draw back is the number of cashier's. Target like other big stores rely on the customer checking themselves out. Well I don't work for Target so I went through the human line. The cashier was very kind and quick. As someone who absolutely LOVES a Super Target, I am very disappointed in this particular Super Target. Each time the staff, primarily young adults do not seem to really care about providing customer service. They do not great anyone, not even a simple, hello. The inside of the store is dirty and unkept. The lack of product stocked in the Grocery section was very disappointing. I had to make another special trip to Wal-Mart to get the rest of things on my list The parking lot is quiet messy, and the automatic doors do not work. I am going to break the trend and give this Target a solid 4 stars. To the people who don't like it- please come and visit my circa 1985 tiny Target and you will want to live in this one (ha-ha). I (and my husband) always manage to find something here to buy. Also, I had to return a rather pricy item that was a gift w/o a receipt and was amazed when they gave me store credit (which is kind of against their policy- my Target wouldn't have done it for sure!). I was disappointing that their clearance on Christmas was only 70% off (some Targets do this for some reason- I think maybe they are testing it), but there are like 10-20 other Targets in the area to check out instead. The dollar section was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the store. Overall- solid 4 stars from me! read more

I love Target. I love Archer Farms products in a bad, bad way. I also love their pajamas. They make me happy. Most days I get okay service, and it suffices. Today, I have got to give a little love the the gentleman who saw me loaded down with an iron board and he came over and unloaded my cart at the check-out counter. Really, I could have done it myself, but I have decided to let folks do nice stuff because it makes both of us feel good! The woman who checked me out was super kind! I love super-kindness! Is this really s Super Target? There's a small grocery on one end so I guess that makes it super. I dunno, seems smaller to me. It's little older, a little run down. It's not uncommon for shelves to be empty when you are looking for something specific. The staff is okay, I don't really recall experiencing any stand out moments while shopping here. They love to push that red card with the 5% savings (we already have one). But, if you are a lover of Target like our family is... then there's really no way to go wrong with a visit here. A brand new (very large) Target just opened in the Presidio development off of Tarrant and I-35 so I'm hoping that redirects some of the heavy traffic away from this location, because it can get really busy on the weekends. There's a Starbucks inside. Love the popcorn when it's fresh. They have sampler stations on the grocery side during the weekends. read more

I liked this Target because there were a lot of items available that I hadn't seen at the Precinct Line Target, which I usually frequent as I used to live two blocks from there. It also is located in a great spot - near a Marshall's, Ross, and a dozen other prime shops & restaurants. Got some great jewelery from the clearance section that was unexpectedly equal parts cheap$/fabulous. They also had the exact nail polish I was looking for (Emily Maynard's, from The Bachelor, preferred Essie color) and that was nice to know. I'll probably make this my new go-to Target, but mostly because it's convenient. read more

I absolutely love this Target! As far as stress-free shopping goes, this is the place for me! I am not a fan of crowds or waiting in lines (but then, who is?) and I AM a fan of Starbucks so this is near perfect as far as shopping experience goes for me and my family. I have my routine down. I come in the door by the Starbucks and hit that up first. (The kids enjoy that too) This is a good way to start things off right for those of us who HATE grocery shopping and shopping in general. Even on the weekends this Target is not crowded, or at least does not SEEM crowded. The kids and I always browse through the $1.00 section. (seems to be a bit lacking lately) and then begin the real shopping. Their grocery prices are comparable and cheaper than other places for some things. My only complaint is their meat prices. I think they are priced too high for their butcher meats so I generally get those elsewhere. The best part about this Target are the check out lines...they are short or non-existant. Unlike other big discount stores (*Cough Wal-mart) they always seem to have plenty of check out lanes OPEN..what a concept! I went yesterday (Sunday afternoon) and counted 7 lanes open. I had NO line to wait in as there were 2 associates just waiting for people to enter their lines. This is HUGE! The associates have always been great here as well. If the meat prices were more comparable, this store would be 5 stars for me. Oh, and grab some popcorn at the cafe on the way out...it is the best! read more

I went in looking for a 99 cent item that I desperately needed and it showed on line that it was available. When I could not fine it, Luke helped me locate the item, which was in a wrapped pallet in the back to be released on the 9th, today is the 6th. He contacted Karen who ran to the back to search for it and asked if I had a little extra time as she went through the inventory to locate my $.99 item. Luke stayed with me while she searched and assured me it was no big deal. They went above and beyond and never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them at all. I know it was. This Target is incredible. They literally have everything you can think of in stock. The grocery selection is fantastic with so many choices for beverages and meals. Since we moved here, we come here very often to get our home needs. After chatting online, told what I needed was in store, and then calling that store to find that they did not have the inventory is a waste of my time.
