Here's another crappy review. I only continue to shop here because it is by far the closest Target. At 9:20am on a Sunday, all but five carts are still parked in the parking lot cart return. The parking lot is loaded with trash. Just about every shelf I had to shop was empty. Trash cans inside were over flowing. Gross. This target has sadly gone down the toilet. read more

Parking is in the rear. But the parking garage is still open which is sketchy. Store appeared clean but they were not well staffed. Overheard employees talking about something that happened which was bad and that the location was unsafe. Which is why they were looking for employment elsewhere. Manager was in front of self checkout and appeared to be looking for theft. Businesses are just hanging on. read more

This location is pretty bad. Consistently out of stock--and even when they have inventory, it's often in the wrong place. Checkout often takes a long time due to understaffing. Restock carts often left in aisles, making it hard (and sometimes, frankly, dangerous) to get around the store. read more

This Target is a clean store. No cashiers upstairs. Only downstairs. Didn't know I could take the cart upstairs on a cart escalator. No one around to inform. Pretty cool feature though. I arrived at this Target in Shaker Heights after visiting Macy's right next door early on a Sunday morning. Nothing against the Target store. But the parking garage I another story. There is no clear signage as to how to get find parking or where the parking was. I pulled in what I thought was the entrance to parking and ended up in a very creepy loading dock area. I didn't want to investigate any further so I came back out onto the street. Then it realized I had to drive along the side of the building only to pull into a very creepy dark parking garage. No stop signs or arrows showing which way to go. All of the entrances to the stores were facing the dark parking garage. To get to TJ max which is permanently closed I would have had to walk across and through the dark parking garage. Did not feel safe at all. Didn't see any other stores other than Target. Once inside Target I felt safe. But coming out to my car not so much. Very bad design and sad this shopping plaza will not survive because of the unsafe parking garage. read more

I attempted to use the Drive Up service today - this was my second encounter. I waited an extremely long time to receive my purchases the first time... so long in fact, that I went inside to get my goods - with my newborn. I had to wait again at Guest Services because there was nobody available to help me. Again, I had my baby in the car today, and I waited 10 mins. I tried calling Guest Services, allowed it to ring for 4 mins, and nobody answered. I had to leave to make it to an appointment and deferred picking up my purchases until I could return. I was very inconvenienced with what is supposed to be a service of convenience. If the store is short-staffed, they should not offer Drive Up pick-up. Additionally, on one of my last trips to this Target, I had ordered a digital print. When I arrived at the store, the Target rep informed me that they are no longer offering photo services at this location. Why did the Website not reflect this? The Target employee did give me a credit for me being inconvenienced, however. read more

Went early in the morning looking for jeans, overheard a argument by the dressing room, between 2 female associates, how can that be at 8:20 in the morning?? Also I didn't know that wearing house slippers were part of a dress code or uniform, I was shocked!! Maybe I won't go early anymore. read more

"could you please check if 'said item' is in your stock" Response: "I know my stock but if you don't believe me come up to the store and SHOW YOU MYSELF! You come to Target with a certain level of expectation. This one will only meet those expectations about 50% of the time. Sometimes, the staff is helpful and checkout is a breeze. Other times, the merchandise is a mess, things are priced wrong and the staff is just as confused as the store looks. I've had tasty Pizza Hut pizza at the cafe upstairs. But sometimes the area has often been neglected by the cleaning team and I am forced to walk and eat instead. My most recent visit was subpar. A few items from the weekly ad were missing in action. However, the young man who checked me out was pleasant and efficient. You just never know with this Target. read more

I love Target. Like, really love it. This Target however, makes me sad because it is never stocked with what I need. It's so conveniently located for me too. I've gone at different time for different items to see if it is a coincidence but it isn't. From makeup to cheese, they always seem to be out. I enjoy a good stroll around Target after I've tried finding what I need and when I remember I need something else I go looking and it's out, completely out. The parking structure that is attached to this Target is difficult to get in and out of and is usually cold, dark, wet and creepy. I actually call it, Creepy Target. There are only a few stores remaining in this abandoned complex and this sad Target happens to be one of them. I want to mention that I have filled out the survey at the bottom of my receipt multiple times to notify them of my issue with inventory but have not seen an improvement in over a year. This Target has been so helpful since we moved to the area! They have lots of things in stock and their curbside is so so so efficient. The location is a little bit strange if you haven't been there, but you get used to it. They have a fun cart escalator that my son loves, making it easy to go up or downstairs. Tip: park on the top of the garage for access to the whole store or at the ground floor for curbside. Happy shopping! read more

Was at self checkout when 4 caucasian crew members came up to me and my family asking to check receipts before we even payed then they stayed there whole time we payed with cash and they still were looking at us like we stole than the lady kept bothering and following us when they checked the receipts and everything was paid for with cash I don't recommend this target it's very racist read more

I figured I should write a review since I am the reigning dutchess of this Target Store. Even so, I'm not the biggest fan of this particular store. The parking is nice because there is a huge garage with tons of levels (the top level is where I always park unless it is snowing) and you'll never have a problem finding a close space. The store itself is two levels and has a cart escalator. My biggest issue with this store is that the employees are never very friendly or helpful. I recently exchanged some printer ink for a different kind at the guest services counter and couldn't believe how frustrated the worker was with my asking to also purchase two other small items at that counter while making the return. As I left I told HER to have a good day, to which I got no response. This isn't really a unique situation as far as attitudes go. I'm generally a pretty happy-go-lucky person and have an easy time spreading my cheer to people I meet throughout the day. But...not here. With that being said, Target has all of my household needs, like paper towels, toilet paper, oatmeal, and Nutella! I'll continue to visit this Target because it is close to where I live and I tend to need the items previously mentioned. read more

This target is insane! We have been here MANY times after shopping at other places in the area. Used to be amazing and I loved going! Now it is Absolutely terrible! The store is a complete wreck. The shelves are empty. We drove an hour to purchase something our local target were out of and it said online they had. We get there and they didn't have what we needed. The lines for checkout had at least 5 people waiting in each line. We will never come to this target again. read more

I am deeply upset and concerned about my experience at this Target location. I've been shopping here for about 15 years, and never experienced any kind of profiling or problems until yesterday. I went to the electronics section to get a controller. Within a minute of looking for said controller a man (obviously security) started to follow me and give me dirty looks. This man was wearing army pants and an olive colored hoodie. He was about 5'9, had a black beard and exuded a thuggish menacing persona. When I asked this individual if he worked there he started to stutter and seemed very uncomfortable by that question. He gave me an illogical excuse that he was "waiting for someone."Yet the second I walked away he started to talk to a Target worker and called him by name. As a young black male, I don't appreciate feeling as if I was doing something illegal. If Target continues to hire such ignorant people who are clearly used to dealing with a certain clientele of people, I will happily stop shopping there! read more

This is my local Target. The staff (including pharmacy) are always friendly and helpful, and cashiers are smiling. The store is pretty typical though sadly a bit lacking in the toy department. The Steelyard Commons Target is way bigger for toys and also overall, so I'd recommend going there when needed. It's a bit out of the way if you're an eastsider but it's way "better" than settling for the Walmart nearby. Tip: They usually have promos when buying laundry detergent or other house supplies, to buy X products and get X amount on a Target gift card. I try to do these... household items don't go bad and free money is my favorite! As far as parking, the lot is a mess (poorly lit and not well stop signed) but there is always ample parking. read more

Selection is reduced from other stores. Quality staff, and I like the shopping cart elevator. This part is not their fault, but I hate all the traffic lights and too-low speed limits (should be 30mph). A traffic light on every corner seems overkill. read more

The store was absolutely filthy! I'm talking trash all over the entrance and exit. Employees kept walking by it. I went into the clothing section and it was a mess. Stuff all over the floors, scattered around the shelves. I walked over to the Jewelry counter to pick up a few pairs of earings. For such a small selection of jewelry, you guys sure do have it spread out everywhere. I had to keep going back and fourth between the surgical steel and the wall of earings. Kind of annoying. This place is OK. They are always out of stock of like everything. One of the employees at the pharmacy is constantly rude to me whenever I come to pick up my prescriptions so I switched to a new pharmacy. The ladies at the optical department are very nice however their optical department is overpriced so I do not go there any longer. They sell large quantities of products that are better Quality and better priced than at competitive stores like Costco. They're generic brand up and up is very great and it never disappoints except for a few times. It is nicely priced and pretty good quality sometimes even better quality than the namebrand. It is definitely better than Kirkland Costco's brand. I like that this store has a variety in their generic brand unlike some other stores. Whenever I shop here at this location I feel watched by the employees like they think I'm stealing or something. Whenever I check out they pester me at the self check out. The pharmacy staff is a bit rude. The regular store employees are OK they've always been helpful and kind. I'll give target as a store five stars but this location I would give it a three. read more

Their "fresh" produce section needs to be checked more regularly! I've come across moldy cheese, fruits, and vegetables on multiple occasions. Who doesn't love target?! This one in particular is your middle of the road target. It has everything you need (and want, but don't need) in your to-be-expected location. The staff is helpful and friendly and there are four self-check out registers, which I love. This target is a little messy in the clothing aisles, but I also think that's a to-be-expected target quality. The parking garage is also a little maddening, but I don't blame target for that -- it's just the nature of the location. All in all, I love this place and don't know what I'd do without it! read more

I'm not a huge fan of any of the Target stores, but when something appears on a loved one's wish list, you go where you have to go. So off to this "vertical mall" and their amusement-park escalators. I imagine that people really like parking inside, out of the weather in that parking deck, but in the name of Frank Gehry could you have made it any less driver-friendly? I'm surprised anyone ever makes it out of that hampster wheel alive or un-dented. The store is staffed with people who make it clear they would rather stand around than offer assistance; I asked two red-clad Target robots for help finding an item, and both times they just pointed and said, "Over there." Great, thanks. I'll just continue walking around. They get two stars because their marketing and level of merchandise, as well as pricing, are all pretty decent. K-Mart and Sears deserve to go out of business, thanks to their top-level management scheme of squeezing out every drop of profit by axing thousands. Good work, guys. Third world, ho! read more

The inventory is sometimes a little strewn about, but it's a really nice two story Target. The parking lot and building it's attached to is SUPER sketch and I don't recommend loitering outside at night because of the dark spots. read more

This is the dirtiest Target I have ever seen i felt like i was at Walmart it was do bad. The selection is terrible, shelves were trashed or empty. We actually went looking for Walmart which turned out to be clean and well-stocked. So crazy. I actually got help at Walmart and got what I needed and out in 10 min. Bizarro night. read more

I love all Target stores -- they are vastly better than Walmart as a big chain -- and they have lots of fashionable items and bargains. This is the nearest store to me so I visit it a lot. The "two story" design is fun and unusual (it's one of only two such Targets in the US; the other is in Atlanta) and it gives the store a more urban feel. The downside? The parking structure around the store was badly designed...indeed, the whole concept was bungled. The first floor supermarket went out of business in a year, leaving the bottom spook and dark. The parking garage is dangerous structurally (I always park OUTSIDE IT) and it is dark inside, creepy, and in winter, wet and slippery. Nobody wants to enter a store in a dark, creepy parking garage! Having to walk between the moving cars is dangerous! The elevators are poorly located. Many storefronts are empty besides the supermarket (some were never occupied. And did I say (in cold wintery Cleveland) that it is DARK DARK DARK? Even on a summer afternoon? Not a place you'd want to stroll around or linger. I never visit the other stores, just Target and sometimes TJMaxx. I don't have a good feeling about the future of this complex. No digs at the Target store, though, which has been a godsend to our neighborhood since they bulldozed the Marc's across the street. NOTE: there is a Whole Foods on the other side of Warrensville, just a 2 minute walk. read more

Sometimes, I strictly go here out of convenience but I would much rather go to the Som Center Road Target. My big issues with this Target are the pricing that is listed on the items sold. I can't count how many times that their tags on the shelves didn't match the item or there were no tags at all so I had to take a trip around the store to one of the red scanners which sometimes don't read the bar codes. I've also noticed that their restocking takes a bit for some merchandise. Their staff is sometimes not the most friendly or helpful either. I do think it's cool that it's 2 floors - that's probably the only the redeeming quality (if that qualifies as one). The garage is also somewhat of a nightmare. With the volume of traffic that the shopping center has, the garage's tight turns and narrow aisles are enough to drive me batty. read more

I'm new the area and I'm still trying to find a grocery store that has prices comparable from my last location (St. Louis). We had Targets back in STL too but they were pretty nice stores. I bought 20 items on at this store and at least 4 items were rung up with a difference (higher) prices. You could blame it on the computer system, but this is rather systematic. I think if you want to spare yourself the frustration of having to do price checks on multiple different items, then don't shop here. I felt like I was actively being ripped off. Some of the less perishable goods were cheaper here, but I don't like stores that say one price and charge another and hope you're not looking. , so I'll probably be shopping at Zagaras for groceries. In addition, when I asked for an employee for help, she said "i'm busy." Bad floor service. read more

This Target seems really interesting because it is two floors, but it really makes it a huge pain because you virtually have to memorize what is on each floor so that you are not going up and down the whole time you are there. Also, the merchandise, especially in the clothing departments, is very disorganized. The bras are almost always tangles together and not placed on their correct display. The restocking of certain high frequency items, like baby products, is slow. The staff have never been very helpful and the checkout lines are usually unnecessarily long. Target does always have a nice variety of different and unique things to buy, and this is the closest Target to my house, so it gets two stars. I am trying to frequent the Target on Aurora Rd. which is by my place of employment more because it is immaculate and extremely well organized. read more

This is my go-to Target. The workers have always been nice to me and ask if I need help (I must look like I need help). Its your basic Target except its split into two stories. Not a big deal, but you have to be very organized when shopping here or you end up going up and down and up and down and up and down. Especially not convenient if you have a small child riding in your cart and you have to wait for the elevator. The other issue that I have run into is that the staff don't re-distribute the carts. So if the majority of the carts end up on the 1st level, and you park on the second level you have to hunt down a cart. read more

This is a 2 story target! You can put your cart (sans child) on an escalator! That is right! They have a special escalator just for carts! The store is a great example of reclaiming urban space and rather than creating a strip mall that takes up much too much space, they created higher density shopping area with parking garages and layered stores. read more

I love target in general; however, this particular store could use some work. First, it's 2 floors so you have to plan out your visit well or you end up going up and down the escalator (or waiting for elevator when the escalator is broken). Second, I have recently run into multiple items being out of stock. Third, the restrooms are, at best, disgusting, at worst, a war zone. Hold it. Don't go in there. Cowboy hats are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later every asshole gets one. With that in mind, I had to have one and I set out to find me a Target that had some so of course I headed out to the east side where lots of hillbillies live. I wanted the hat, the boots and a set of those horns to mount on the front of your car like in a Burt Reynolds movie. The store is bigger than most but has less stuff in it. They have more floors and less floorspace. They sell high-quality Chinese things and shrinky clothes made in yucky places on the more squalid side of the world. They sell food too but I think it is made here in the United States. I support the troops, so there's that. And I don't just mean I support them with my tax dollars, I mean I support them with my words as well. God Bless everyone is what I say. Target sells good DVDs too and I bought me some yoga DVDs and not just to slo-mo on the girls who strain and wiggle around. I like to do yoga and this is target. I went to the target on the east side, you see, so I had to buy something a bit more high-brow. A buck fifty for some namaste sporties who look like they'd even talk to you in an accent. Awesome. And I don't say that a lot. I did not find a cowboy hat so if you are looking for one don't go here. And I did not find any size fifteen cowboy boots nor the horn thingy for the front of the car.
