I was returning an Amazon product at Staples. they only had 2 counter people 1 for Amazon returns and 1 for everything else. I was in line for about 45 mins. the 2 ladies were perfect, considerate. They had every reason to be bitter it was crazy with all the people. Phones were ringing nonstop and people waiting. Downside not one Manager or Supervisor out there helping out. Companies wonder why the are constantly hiring. I was at the Staples in Mentor, Ohio around 12:30 it's now 1:20 on July 14, 2026. These women need to receive recognition for their kind and happy faces. People in there were very kind too but where was their help. I come here often to do Amazon or Happy Returns or Party City. T he workers here are nice, but they are being given the short end of the stick because the Staples corporate office does not supply them with what they need!!! So today once again, the line for Amazon was about 10 people deep because the iPhone that they used to scan the products is about 100 years old and the Internet that they have in the store is almost nonexistent so of course none of it works well and it takes forever for things to load up! We don't blame the workers for this - we blame Staples Corporate for not managing the store well. So sadly, they will probably lose the store - and have to fire all of the employees all because they did not pony up the money for decent Internet and for a decent iPhone so they could scan things! Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is that I -might- have found what I needed. But it was definitely not due to the help of the stores rude and angry employees. One lady snapping at everybody including customers. Get staff help or close down. Where was the manager? Only relief was the extremely polite curly haired gentleman who finally cashed us out. read more

This location seemed a bit disheveled. There were many pallets of stock just junked up on the floor, blocking much of the merchandise, which made it a bit annoying to shop around. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable for the most part. My hubby and I ended up purchasing a large amount of office furniture, most being reasonably priced with a few surprise sale items that weren't advertised until we got to the check out. Kinda odd, but I do love a sale! Also notable is the fact that there's a UPS store inside! Overall, in the future, I'd probably just order online and pick up at that location for better selection. read more

I wanted to write this a while back, and I should have because this Staples absolutely deserves a great review!! I put in for some last minute card prints that I really needed for my dads online business. When the time for prints to be ready said near end of day I panicked because I needed them within about 2 hours. I called up and got to speak with the Supervisor, Sierra, who was an absolute pleasure of a human!She was super kind, professional and easy to talk to. I explained to her my need for the prints and that I was worried I wouldn't be able to get them in time(which is my own fault). Sierra told me to give her until noon and she would have them done, but they usually take up to 3 days depending on what you need done. I was so so happy that she heard me and did what she could to go above and beyond to make it happen by noon, knowing full well she could have told me that it's the way it is. Seriously, I can't say more on how sweet she was and how wonderful my over all experience was with this store. Highly recommend!! read more

This location - though one of the few I've been to seemed a bit disorganized. Not just in merchandise, but also their staff. I'm not sure who knew more - me or them! I also noticed a very large selection, but not much in the selections I needed. Though the staff seemed friendly enough - it just didn't really help with the lack of items OR the knowledge to know what a consumer wanted. It might be one of the only places to go in there area, but I'll be seeking goods elsewhere from this point forward. read more

This is the second time I have used them for printing services of an uber important nature (well to my mind it is of course!) and they rock! Tonight Whitney not only made a recommendation on product, knew exactly the look I was going for but also asked about the item for printing and the "story" behind it. Kudos to her as I know how hard it is to work retail and in a rush rush business person pace - five stars was solidified then - not to mention another fabulous print job at what I consider a steal of a price $2.55. I am writing a book. The files for this book are on a flash drive. They are not my only copies. I have many other copies. So the story...I left my flash drive in the self serve printer. I didn't realize it was gone until 3 days later. I called and was told it was there. I am told they have it. Great! I was out of town so my daughter went to pick it up. They couldn't find it. I called later on and they had it. This time they were putting it in a work envelope. I get back in town and go to pick it up. I am handed a different flash drive. It's not mine. I have them check the drive before I leave and funny enough, one of my files is on this drive. I took it and left. I got home and checked. Half the files are missing and it's a 32 GB drive. Mine was either 128 or 256 GB. Plus this drive is gray with black. My drive was black with a lighter black. I called and spoke with the assistant manager. She said I would need to speak with the manager. I'm not getting into the entire conversation here as it's long and very unproductive. However, Jeff the manager kept saying it's my fault for forgetting it. I never denied that. The fact that there is an employee there that took my much larger flash drive, transferred some-not all of my files to a 32 GB drive, and replaced it makes me very unhappy and disappointed. Someone at this store is deceptive, a liar, and a thief. The flash drive was unaccounted for for 3 days and then disappeared another day when I called in. Very fishy isn't it?? It is! I never received any resolution from the store manager Jeff and I never will. I realize that. But you should be aware of how this store is ran. On another note, I contacted their corporate office and feel that I received the same run around I got from the store level. I am taking my business elsewhere and I will never shop at any Staples again. Think twice before you do either. I am telling all my friends. I hope a $40 flash drive was worth losing all this business. read more
