The service here is very good because the staff are very nice and friendly. The items are in very good condition at this location. I am very pleased with this Target for having a variety of very good products. The prices at this Target are very reasonable and fair. This Target location is very clean which is very important. The messiest place I've ever been. Pallets of boxes everywhere at 3:30pm, actually pretty dangerous- one I tripped over. The shelves are a disaster- I'm a Target fan, never been in a place like that. Target, where are you? You'll never stay in business. read more

Only been here once, but I don't think I'd go back. I was looking for a muiti-cooker. Found the right section. There were a few. There were no prices on the displays. There were prices on the shelves below but it was unclear which of the seemingly randomly-shelved items belonged to a particular price, and while each price has a code number, none of the items seemed to have a comparable number. (Also, two of the display units were broken, so you couldn't open them up and look inside.) There was no one to help, but after a bit of searching we found a friendly lady who was able to learn the prices with a price gun (which is the ONLY WAY TO FIND THE PRICES APPARENTLY). My plan had been to find the unit I want and then ask target to ship it. Most stores I've been in can do that; but the lady told me to just go to the website for that. Really? This was two days before Christmas and there was almost no one helping customers! It wasn't even that crowded, there just weren't many people on the floor. It is a smaller Target but I think of this store as more of a post or online headquarters. It is a place to have quick and easy returns for things bought online from Target. It's also possible I may be able to buy what I want the same day by going in or arranging same day pick up. Unfortunately, the internet isn't always correct with current in-store stock. I've gone in to pick up items that were out of stock despite being listed otherwise online. I imagine this is growing pains or can be contributed to holiday shopping season. It's not a giant Target where you will go in and get lost in things you want but is worth a visit all the same. read more

So, no offense to this store -- this review pertains to the larger Target conglomerate. I ordered a weed whacker at Target.com and when it arrived, the box had been ripped in two and re-taped with no message, apology, nothing. I'm not sure whether I paid full price for a used weed whacker or whether it was somehow ripped apart in transit. So, of course, I had to return it. Long story short, I wasted about an hour on a holiday weekend -- between talking to a customer service rep and going into the store to return this item and explain, lest they think I destroyed the package. I was not offered any sort of courtesy for my efforts and stress -- NOT EVEN EXPEDITED SERVICE (so that I don't have to wait another week to cut my lawn). By the time I got through to Target customer service, I was told that they absolutely could not expedite -- since it was sold by a partner company -- and I could not cancel the order, so now I have the same waste of time rigamorole to look forward to when I return it (because at this point, it represents stress and frustration that I don't need)although hopefully the box will not have been attacked by dogs this time. In short, Target is a wonderful store when you can go in to a brick and mortar store, otherwise beware when you order that your purchase is not being made from a partner store over whom Target has no quality control or customer service assistance. The customer service here is terrible. I asked where the bedding was and a worker here named Nicole was yelling at me saying how much she was having a bad day. She was yelling very loud so much that her spit was going everywhere. It was disgusting and very unprofessional and if you don't want to work at target then don't. read more

Not the best Target I have been in, the shelves are empty and the clothes are a mess and not a lot of help available on the sales floor. But the British guy that works on the front desk was a dream. He was polite and genuine and helped me order some clothes they didn't have in store. If you could duplicate him, Target would benefit. Plus the painting at the front of the store is worth going to see... but shop elsewhere. read more

Oh target! I've been waiting for you. My experience is usually casual and brief. Today was no different but with one exception: Caleb. You not only were pleasant and offered me my baby bag with a smile you remedied a really difficult situation we were having with my WIC card. I wont say exactly what he did, but handled the transaction seamlessly. I have since phoned the card company and am waiting for a response. I was very excited to hear that they were opening a target here in Burlington! I've been in the store many times and it is always busy. The place is usually messy and the location is very small compared to other Targets. The price is a little high for a chain retail store. But you can purchase groceries, home, clothes, alcohol and lots of other goodies here! read more

Why say two day shipping??? If it's a lie!!! Ordered snow pants in November 16th. Order still says preparing to be shipped! Call customer support and they say yah just give it two more days! This is rediculous! Don't say two day shipping then. read more

I was very disappointed in this new store. It is somewhat disorganized, not really that much merchandise, and a grocery section seems to be out of place within a mostly clothes oriented store. I have been to Targets in California, and they are much better and more appealing. read more

DO NOT buy wine at this store! They consistently charge more than the price listed on the shelf and they also charge a 15-cent bottle deposit on wine bottles. This is a violation of Vermont law since wine is not included in the bottle redemption program. I told this to Customer Service but they said they couldn't change it because the pricing is controlled by Corporate. I eventually got a refund but it was such a hassle that I will not buy wine there again. I hope they get it fixed because I'm so glad to finally have a Target in town and want to give them my business! read more

I love Target, but not this one. I knew it was supposed to be a smaller Target, so I was prepared for that, but the store looks ransacked and completely disorganized. That's one thing that I typically like about Target versus its competitors: Target stores are very orderly and nice, and has everything you need. This one had TONS of empty shelves and items fallen off their shelves/racks or just completely in the wrong place. There were about three shoes in the shoe department (some without its pair). Half the store is still grocery, so the non-grocery portion seems that much smaller. I went the first Saturday after this store opened, so I was giving it the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just because it was so new and they hadn't had a chance to restock yet, but it looks exactly the same now. I was so excited for Target to come to the area, but this has been a severe disappointment so far. Maybe it'll get into the swing of things in a few months, but it's definitely not there yet. read more
