Target is one of my favorite stores in Siouxland. I especially love the dollar section, their clothes, and gifts. (Toys, books, etc.) I rarely purchase from their grocery department because I go to Hy-Vee for that. I also don't use Target much for household items (laundry soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc.) because I have a Dollar General in walking distance from my home. I do like Target's home decor and seasonal wares as well. I typically do all of my 'back to school' shopping there. Today I shopped for a swimsuit. I found bottoms very easily but it took me awhile to find a top. Had nothing to do with Target, but with me being picky and trying to figure out sizes for my 'new body.' (I haven't shopped since my 230lbs weight loss.) The women who assisted me in the dressing rooms were great. Place was clean, organized, busy but was operated smoothly. The swimsuit area you could tell has been very heavily shopped lately but there was an employee working really hard to keep it clean and organized. She greeted me and was very nice. I wasn't able to find the gift now I wanted to. The shelves in the gift bag area were really bare. That was a little frustrating, but I just bought a roll of ribbon I can use more than once. The dollar section was GREAT to me today! The store was really busy for a Monday afternoon and only 2 check-out lanes were open. I seriously waited for over 10 minutes until someone opened an additional lane. Finally. That employee was super nice and very quick. I thought about 4 stars, but the place always satisfies me so 5 stars it gets. This location also has the small cafe AND a Starbucks! read more

An amazing store as always for your shopping needs, clean and organized, and great guest service. Only thing this store needs is a major remodeling inside and out. The appearance of the store is dated. The good news is that the parking lot was resurfaced a while ago and that it now has Drive-Up parking spots for online orders and Shipt for ordering groceries via your smartphone and getting them delivered to your home for your convenience. read more

I have been at this store about 5 times since I have come to Iowa to visit my family. This is one of the largest and I must say cleanest Targets I have ever been to. The grocery department has more variety than the Savemarts in California. The produce is always fresh. They have a very large selection of frozen foods. It's the largest food department i've seen. It is definitely in comparison to the large super markets you fine in Ca. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. This sure as heck is not a Walmart. Paul F. for fake review! The biggest complaint that I have about Target in Sioux City is that they do not staff appropriately during the morning/afternoon hours. Today, I stood in one of the only two open lanes available for check-out, as I counted seven employees standing in front of the check-outs just talking! The wait time for check out was seventeen minutes, which is unacceptable. However, I prefer Target over the other box stores because I generally find everything I need and I do not have to deal with overly large crowds like at Walmart. I just need to remember to avoid Target during certain times of the day. read more

I'm not a huge Target shopper, but did some shopping today in the middle of the Christmas season. The store is clean, could have a better selection in a lot of departments, but I did find some items I couldn't at other stores. I was shocked at how quickly I got through the checkouts. I will be stopping here more often. read more

I've been to many Targets around the country and this is a good and huge one. So huge I lost my husband and daughter for 30 minutes on Black Friday. Incase you're wondering he forgot his phone at home. He had the pleasure of reading some interesting text messages when he got home.
