I used the self/checkout for 1 avocado with a sticker. It doesn't scan. OK so I type in the number on the produce. Yay, it works. I try to use a store credit card. The machine is unable to scan the barcode (this happens all the time with store credit cards) soooo, I enter a dollar in cash. My change due is .41. The machine gives me a quarter and I get another or message that a team never will arrive to get the rest of the change. Well, that didn't happen. Frustrating experience and overpaid for one avocado. Who Yelps a Target? Honestly, who does that? You don't Yelp a Target. You wander in half-awake, buy paper towels, a candle you didn't need, and maybe a seasonal gnome. You don't review it. It's like reviewing oxygen. But then I found this Target--in San Juan Capistrano--sitting there with terrible ratings like it owed people money. So I got curious. I went in. Huge mistake. It's not just that it's small. Small can be charming. Parisian cafés are small. Tokyo apartments are small. This place is just... small yet at the same time sparse. But size aside, the real problem is it doesn't feel like a Target. You could beam me into any other Target in America and I'd know where I was--somewhere between the greeting cards and frozen waffles. But here? No. You could've told me I was in an off-brand CVS or a Soviet-era department store and I'd believe you. The layout is chaos. The shelves are half-stocked like they're waiting for the apocalypse. And the vibe? Confused. Like even the building doesn't know it's a Target. I saw people complaining about the staff, but honestly, I was too busy trying to find the shampoo aisle to form human connections. Target is supposed to be a safe space for people who like throw blankets and adulting. This one? It's a Target in name only. A rogue franchise. A glitch in the red polo matrix. Workers are extremely rude and unconcerned. No one would unlock the fitting room and when someone finally came they were intoxicated.

I don't understand why the employee who was also going to the restroom couldn't let me in restroom. How rude to respond with an attitude when I asked. The sensor to get an associate does not work. Had to wait to another employee just stopped to help me. Target sucks. I wish I would've got said employees name to put it here. This is by far the smallest Target I've ever been to. Great if you are looking for getting in and out quickly . Found most of the things I was looking for, but not a lot of variety in items.For it being so small there was still a Starbucks in there with tables. My misstep was using the restroom. This review is for the CVS PHARMACY ONLY ... I truly just want to warn anyone who suffers with anxiety, nervousness, ptsd, survivors of DV, anyone who has ever survived or lives in a constant state of fear , or experienced injustice discrimination... please beware. Going to this pharmacy was a HUGE mistake for me and has truly caused serious damage in my 10 year recovery after what I experienced with the manager of this pharmacy, Hashem Fathalia and his team at this CVS inside of Target. As an African American woman who grew up in this city - this truly haunts and saddens my soul. Nonetheless, has made it extremely difficult to feel safe in public, once again. My oral surgeon called in a pain killer after my surgery next to the hotel I was staying at during my recovery.. I did not choose this pharmacy but it was within walking distance from the hotel and my husbands work. (Less than half mile) I entered THIS pharmacy 1 hour after being discharged from emergency oral surgery for damage a brutal attack left me a year prior. Hashem immediately started questioning me about my PTSD/ Anti depressant medication and why was I taking it....huh? I was hysterical in excruciating pain, bleeding profusely from my mouth.. Gaz filled mess horror movie... yet managed to mumble.. "You can call my doctor Ive been in therapy 8 years. " ( I was not picking up these meds that day) After explaining my surgery , my medical history (while weeping and in excruciating pain) he finally fills the 12 pill persciption...which ended up giving me such bad stomach cramps I switched to ibuprofen and THAT WAS A GODSEND! Unlucky for me, My refill date for my ptsd meds fell a few days after my surgery - because I was still staying half a mile from this pharmacy and recovering from my extractions and my husband works RIGHT across the street from the pharmacy, it was very convenient for him to pick them up for me when he got off work, or before he went to work in the mornings. Until of course, Hashem Fathalia made that absolutely impossible, painful, and borderline horrific on both my husband, myself, and even my doctor and his office. I have been on the same medication for 8 years, resentfully to be honest. When someone lives and suffers from a mental and emotional disability, that is basically invisible until triggered... I can't explain the depth of pain this has caused me over a decade. I don't have an amputee leg. I don't get to wear a shirt that says cancer. If I did, would I be questioned, and discriminated against? Told I must be selling drugs?!?!? REFUSED MY MEDICATION? If I wore a Tshirt that said I had been violently abused my whole life in ways you could not dream of and it took me years to work up the courage to walk up to a stranger and pay for my own candy bar would you think that child may have a reason for that fear or "absurd shyness"... well that child is now a woman, functioning in every day life. The very best she can, and situations like this, are seriously devastating... because I have worked so hard, to overcome everything I had to grow from. Yet people like Hashen... take one look, You are the rule Hashem seemed to get enjoyment out of making things more difficult and inevitably making things so complicated and much worse. As I trembled in emotional and physical pain, this man laughed in my face. Laughed in my husbands face. Told me he didn't "sell pills". AS IF I DID....I was mortified. He Asked why I was in his pharmacy. That I was clearly suspicious and he needed to look into my history . SO, I begged him to do so!!! Hoping he would finally realize the TRUTH! If he had simply done his due diligence as he should have, he could have easily found that out. My attacks are documented. Reported on. Public information. Not to mention my psych doctor could have happily brief him on whatever he needed to know... but instead I got a phone call from my doctor 5 minutes later saying the manager of this pharmacy had discharged me for ... "harassment" I could not; believe what I was hearing. I was called a drug dealer; a drug user, treated like complete scum of the earth... all because this pharmacist looked at me and made up his mind that he knew everything about me....devastating. I am simply mortified and haunted. My fear of speaking in public has gone from better to worse since this incident. It truly feels like a crime. I'm so saddened. My refill was transferred to another CVS where it was filled the same day and ready within the hour. They apologized profusely as they did not understand this man's tormented treatment - I was just so grateful to be treated and seen as a human being after such a nasty experience from Hashem Fathalia. Great customer service from manager Fransisco! I broke a glass item in the clearance section by mistake and he was over there in literally 10 seconds like he had spidey sense. There was a toddler super close by so I was relieved he was there to get someone to stand guard while he went to get cleaning materials. I apologized and he was super nice about it. He also helped me with finding a sale item I really needed. I am also super excited that they brought back seventh generation products. I am not into the other gross brands. I was shopping for pokémon cards and while looking for the card area I saw a pokémon set in the wrong area because someone must've not wanted to buy the product and when I asked the worker if they sold pokémon cards she told me no they don't . New, clean, bright and efficient but very small. A little bit of everything but not a superstore by any means. More along the the lines of a neighborhood Walmart-but it's a Target so it's nicer than WalMart. Only one check stand is not self service but that seems to work fine. A small Target in comparison to many of the huge locations I'm used to visiting. Downright tiny perhaps to some. As a result they may not have the stock of a specific thing you are looking for...as it happened they didn't have what I was searching for that day...not they didn't have an option I wanted but they lacked the entire category. I wouldn't even rate this place a star, it's just the lowest I can go. The costumer service is horrible no one cares about anything, I was waiting for someone to unlock something from the electronic section for about an hour (just for a headset). During the first 10 minutes after asking someone to help me, they said they couldn't, I asked another person and they said wait there and someone will help me. 30 minutes go bye and I'm looking around the whole store to find one worker, I couldn't find one person to help me. So I finally walk into the back room and ask the first person I see and they helped me right away. AFTER 1 hour I finally had the headset in my hands. I will never be coming to this location ever again and I will always make sure people know about this location. read more

We originally went to go to grab batteries. They didn't have them. Which is fine there is shipping shortages. But then my girlfriend went to the bathroom and NONE of the bathrooms had toilet paper. They must rarely clean those bathrooms, as they are quite disgusting. I told the staff because she was stuck in the restroom and they couldn't care less. Completely dismissive and rude. The team at target has made life so much easier with the option to have the groceries delivered outside! With three children it's not always convenient to go shopping indoors and with a pandemic it's nice to have the option to be able to stay in my vehicle. I come here quite often as it's a peaceful store location & I find everything I need almost all of the time but recently I've been having several unpleasant experiences in regards with a few of the ladies working there... For starters, the short, brown long haired young lady who I believe goes by Sam has been giving me & other shopping customers dirty looks left & right and when she's not doing that, she's distracted on her phone and not paying attention to anyone or anything else. I'm not trying to put down anyone here as I always consider that maybe the worker is having a bad day...I myself have worked retail for over 10 years too so I try to understand their position but it has happened to me several times.. I really don't know why she would choose a retail job while knowing she is an ugly rude person towards others. There's another young lady in which also works alongside Sam I believe that is also constantly distracted on her phone & recording herself as well as in a few other instances, I've caught her AND Sam recording customers then following it with loud giggles. I have not said anything or reported anything until now. What really pushed me to write this review was what I witnessed yesterday. There were at least 3 of your workers, 2 young males & 1 older female that were visibly struggling to attend/help the busy crowd of customers and could've definitely used the hand of an extra 2 people. Well, as I look around to see if there was any other employee coming to help in the rush, I spotted the 2 same girls in which I mentioned earlier recording themselves and singing along to music by the guest service cash registers. I understand how work can be exhausting, boring, and difficult, but constantly doing that especially on a busy rush hour... not good. At all. I was already in a state of vulnerability due to personal reasons but seeing that genuinely upset me. I don't think I'll be continuing to visit as it isn't just those 2 young ladies causing bad experiences for me recently and possibly others, I have seen other employees do similar things but not as often as Sam and the young friend that usually works up front. I do appreciate the group of workers that I usually see early mornings working hard and doing their job properly. Taren was also always extremely helpful & carries a beautiful welcoming aura. Go her! :) But going back to the irresponsible employees...I'm sure there's something you guys can do to prevent any of this from happening in the store again but until then, my statement will stand.. read more
