This target is so run down, there is never any inventory. I'm not sure why but their isles are always missing things. The dollar spot up front is so bare and a mess. On top of it, other targets displays are always on time and ready for holidays where as this target is always so behind and then missing everything. Lastly it's over run with teenagers who are running up and down the isles acting insane. read more

Target is super convenient and has pretty much everything I need in one stop!! groceries, household basics, and little extras I didn't plan on grabbing. The store is usually clean and easy to shop, and checkout is pretty quick. Took off one star because it can get busy and some items are hit-or-miss in stock, but overall it's a solid go-to. read more

trash bin at the front entrance is always full. after 830 pm no one at customer service, stop cutting off employees hours. This is ridiculous. Never could find customer service later in the evening p.m.. This Target is well stocked so it puzzled us on a Sunday afternoon when we couldn't find a full ream of color paper in the office supplies section on a Sunday afternoon (major family shopping day). Everything else was available here but that. After checking the shelves around what we needed, we were forced to choose a random package of colored paper that was laying in another spot, last one looked like. Come on store managers, get it together please. Sunday is the one of busiest shopping day for families and we are prepping for our work and/or school week. The Starbucks in the store is awesome and the staff is great. They have the best stock of nee winter items and merchandise. They also take Starbucks cards for payment, unlike those at Albertsons stores or in Marriott Hotels. Thank you! read more

I attempted to voice my concern to management regarding all the juvenile ebikers that invade this store with no supervision. They still stuff, they run around screaming, I saw a mom got hit in the head with a bag of candy as the boys laughed and took off. She too was with a young daughter. I could go on and on. So I kindly voiced my concern and management could care less and was very short and rude. Management showed no concern for the families that shop there and almost seemed as if they took the side of the juveniles that take over the stores. It was quite a bizarre conversation I had. Been frequenting this Target for years out of pure convenience because it is close to work. After moving nearby and going more often...not so much anymore. Call me a hater but I do not like being asked to "donate" to a "football team" every time I leave. Please send me a message regarding this football team as I do feel it does exist but there is no proof. I feel harassed politely saying No and them yelling at me that they take Venmo. Then I get into Target and see the frustrated customers trying to make returns at customer service with the empty Dollar Spot. Walk a bit further and the teenagers after school are just acting insane and cussing like sailors. I'm done with this Target after trying to do a drive up order. I ordered 3 items. After one hour I received a message to pick up 1 item. Unfortunately there was no eta for the other 2 items. Waited and waited. Ended up picking up the first item and canceled the rest. I dunno about this Target. Poway one is looking better at the point. read more

I generally prefer this location over other ones. I found it by chance when I was lost. You can tell that it's a Target store in a rich area (4S Ranch), because the merchandise selection is better. However, they don't tend to carry some common products which are available at the other locations, and I guess this is because rich people find it elsewhere or online. If you're looking for something that is sold out in other locations, see if it's being carried here. I bet it is, most of the time. They push their products out frequently so don't have gaps in availability, like for size medium clothing. This store is also nice to go to because there are no homeless or other alarming characters like what you'll find outside the Balboa Avenue location. It's sad that this factor needs to be considered when choosing a shopping location. It didn't used to be. read more

This is our local Target. It is larger than most Targets, and it is well stocked. During the pandemic, we began to take advantage of ordering ahead for Drive Up Pickup. Overall, this has worked great. The Android app is easy to use for placing an order, and communication from the store about an order is very good. Store associates deliver orders to your car (I usually have them place it in my trunk). They are masked and maintain social distance. There is one problem with using the app: only the device with the app on it can communicate with the store once the order is placed. You need this to let the store know you are on your way and that you are in a designated Drive Up Pick Up space when you arrive. So ... if my wife places the order on her phone, and I go to pick it up, either I have to take her phone with me or text her to communicate with the store. Overall, this Target is a great place to shop. read more

Unpleasant shopping experience at this target on Dec 14th. Went to buy Apple Airpods at this target location. Took one of the product info hang tabs to show the staff at the electronics counter which one I wanted to buy. After greeting this Asian employee, he had no reply. I then told him I wanted to buy the apple products. The first thing he said was, "you are not supposed to remove the hang tabs from the display" in a rude manner. He also seemed bothered for putting the hang tab back. If it should not be removed. Put out signs let customers know, or make it unremovable. Pathetic Customer service, no respect, bad attitude, and unhelpful. *** Apparently, Google does not like this review, won't even post on google reviews. No wonder the ratings on Google for this location is 4.5, and on yelp is 3.5. Most of things we see on the internet has been manipulated, they will show whatever they want you see. read more

My daughters and often go this target and yesterday was no different. We got a couple of things from there and one of them is a pimple patch. 1) They don't have cute options like the Target in Escondido or even a CVS store 2) We don't know how the box was empty. There should be inventory control for these items as we paid for something that we never got. 3) There aren't that much options for us. The restroom was clean. But there aren't that many employees around to ask questions. You would have to walk around to find one. read more

I like many others seem to be prepping their patios and backyards. We've been stuck at home and the best way to get air is on my patio which has not seen much love. I needed cushions for my oddly sized patio chairs. I didn't want to spend a lot. I found $10 on sale at Target! None near my place, so I ordered for pick up at this location. They had it ready in a 30 minutes or so from when I placed my order online. It was easy to find and they had someone at the front checking for masks. I went straight to customer service, they had the plexi glass barriers. I showed my ID and i got my cushions. No signatures needed. The store looked very nice and clean. I didn't wander around but it is a large Target and everything looked well stocked. The cushions are great for the price point. Not super fluffy but I just need something thin. They have ties to hold it in place. Can't wash them but they are made for outdoors. Seems to be easy to wipe down if needed. Curbside pick up is also available at this location. A very nice Target. Stopped in after breakfast nearby to pick up a number of items. They pretty much had everything I needed for reasonable prices. I got cracking with some California Pistachios, some Sea Salt Pop Secret microwave popcorn, Pepperidge Farm Double Chocolate Chips Cookies, and some Cinnamon Pop Tarts. Love those things. The store was well organized and clean. I also noticed that this location carries more items that other Target stores do not carry, even quite the collection of gourmet coffees. They are certainly catering to the neighborhood. The young lady at the register was sweet and had a good sense of humor. The store has a good size parking lot and has an inside Starbucks for your coffee and refreshment needs. Very nice Target. read more

I usually have a great experience at this location, however the lady who rang me up yesterday was extremely unpleasant and really made the whole thing sour. They had a sale on ladies underwear so I grabbed a bunch. Since they are UNDERWEAR I put them in a produce bag to keep them at least a little cleaner. This woman lifts up the bag, rolls her eyes so far back and says "oh well THIS is gonna be fun!" I understand you may not want to be in this particular situation at the moment, but keep your sarcastic comments to yourself. Busy location - sometimes long lines. Also have been disappointed when the app says they have something but then it is actually not in stock. Also when picking up orders they ask the customer to verify all items - I no longer use it for more than a few items as I don't have time to do the checking. Finally, very immature staff which makes getting help a waste of time. Good news - their target walkie talkies are always on max volume so it sounds like they are making their red card goals. Recently the side parking lot has been converted to a Tesla Super Charging Station which makes this location like a Tesla dealership. I now avoid the entrance on the west side and no longer park there as it was a crazy madhouse. They will need to consider an addition stop sign as there is so much traffic now. I'll be avoiding this Target during peak shopping times. read more

This is such a nice location with lots of parking. We recently went early on a Saturday morning to get a birthday present for a one year old. They open at 8a I think on weekends. The interior is bright, has a Starbucks, self check out, grocery section. There were lots of red carts and red baskets at entry. We were looking for a specific toy brand and headed over to customer service to inquire. The store was empty and not busy at all. The customer service rep was stand offish, offered no hello/smile, and literally said 'go down that aisle and make left'. I asked if she could be a bit more specific but she said no. She just said all toys are 'down that way'. So yeah. Happy holidays to you too Lady. We did manage to get help from a staff member working the electronics section. He tried to find the brand on this handy belt scanner thingy. He wasn't able too but friend showed him the brand via the target website (on friend's cell phone). They still couldn't locate the brand which was strange. I'm not sure if prices here at Target are all that competitive. Maybe they are but I didn't compare toy prices to other stores (or to Amazon). The wrapping paper wasn't cheap and you have to dig to find affordable greeting cards. I don't know - I guess I'm used to buying bulk for cheap at Costco or getting a cheap card for .99c at Trader Joes. Check out was simple as they had a few cashiers open. The cashier rung up our items quickly but failed to ask if we wanted a gift receipt before we realized the transaction had been processed. It took someone to help her to print out a separate receipt (took a few extra minutes so no biggie) so be mindful to ask for a gift receipt before inserting your credit card. Self check out section looked easy and convenient. It was fun checking out this location but not sure if I'd come back unless I was in the area. read more

In a nutshell: Fancy foods and more options than other Target stores. I've always been a Target girl. Maybe it has to do with how clean and uncluttered the stores are (at least when they first open). And because you can buy groceries, there's really no reason to go anywhere else, except maybe Nordie's and some breweries, oh, and the airport... But if you want fancy groceries and I'm not talking caviar, you've have to go to a newer Super Target, in an area with more discretionary income. I found myself at this Target because it was the closest to my in-laws and I needed to pick up cleaning supplies. I wanted to wander around the whole store but I was on a time crunch so confined myself to the cleaning aisle, the grocery section, and checkout. At 12:28 pm on a Sunday, most Target stores would be packed and the closest parking spot would be 1/2 a mile away. But this Target is a refuge in the storm. Parking was a breeze and plentiful. There were 4 check-out lanes open and all of the self-checkout lanes were open! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. It's like no one knows about this secret Target. Or maybe they were all at brunch? Target on Camino Del Sur, I'll be back. And then I'll wander your aisles, stocking my cart high with tasty treats and other goodies that aren't at my local Target. read more

Bought a million dollar home? Struggling to pay that massive mortgage payment? Don't fret, Target build a store right in the middle of North San Diego's duel income mecca. Their store even takes food stamps, wic, and ebt. This Target is new and pretty much empty of customers. There are plenty of clearance items available at this location so this is a good place to shop for kids clothing. Apparently there is still a stigma in Del Sur when buying off the clearance rack. So far, so good. New Target, new floors inside and large parking spaces ! There are quite a bit of handicap spaces as well , along with many areas to put your shopping cart back so you don't just stuff them in a parking lot ! They also have a Starbucks here , pharmacy and optical center. I went to get an eye exam and they took me right away. Shout out to Denise C. In optical for her expertise , kindness and excellent customer service. Also shout out to Dr. Linda Tran for her easy eye exam procedures , knowledge , suggestions and patience as I was deciding between two types of contact lenses. Everything went so smoothly. Target is my favorite place to go to. It has everything that I need. But so, sometimes they are out of things that I kind of need. In the store, they have all of the items that you would have in other stores and it is really easy to find everything. Personally, I really like using the self checkout lanes. Whenever I make a mistake there is always someone there to help and they will gladly do it. The cashiers are also really kind and helpful. read more

Update: I can't recommend this location over Escondido enough. It's so much better. The parking lot is worlds better and so is the store overall.
