I had a very disappointing experience at the Target on Bitters. I placed a curbside order for a green Five Star folder with prongs, but the curbside employee first brought the wrong color, then returned with the correct color but the wrong style. When I tried to explain both times, she interrupted me, walked away, and spoke to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. After going inside, I found the correct folder myself in less than two minutes. At Guest Services, instead of listening to what had happened, the employee assisting me repeatedly insisted the curbside worker couldn't have been responsible, even after I explained that she had personally returned with a different folder. I had to ask for a manager because I felt I wasn't being heard. Even the simple exchange became unnecessarily confusing until the manager stepped in. I understand that mistakes happen, but there is no excuse for rude customer service or dismissing a customer's concerns. I remained polite throughout the entire interaction, yet I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I hope this store provides better customer service training so future customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve. read more

This target location is in a very central location and is perfect for my needs as a great one-stop shop :) ! I was really busy running errands and I was on a time crunch. But I really liked how the Target cafe with the in-store Starbucks had fantastic and friendly baristas who assisted me with my orders for my iced sugar cookie latte and my first snowman shortbread cookie of the season :D ! It also helped that the Target cafe had much more seating compared to the traditional hectic and busy Starbucks so that I could actually have a place to sit and do my work :) ! I didn't get a chance this time to shop throughout the store because I was trying to get all my day errands done in a jiffy and I had a tight schedule. But for sure, when I have more leisure time to truly check out this Target location, I certainly want to be able to enjoy my coffee and snack either before or after shopping throughout the store :D ! Just stopped into this target to buy quick necessities after work. First off they turned the lights off and didn't even announce they were closing. So I'm grabbing last minute shampoo and a guy starts following me telling me they're closed I'm telling him I'm so sorry I thought they closed at 11 like the other one down the road. He doesn't say anything and keeps following me so I'm rushing to go pay. Then the guy that rung me up doesn't say a word. Throws everything in bags after he finished ringing them up. I ignore it but he's too busy talking to the guy Lukas who was following me then just holds out my receipt. I grab it and say thank you I'm sorry have a good night. Proceeds to ignore me and talks to his coworker Luke. I will not be returning. That's very unprofessional and horrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend shopping at this location. read more

This is for the delivery partner SHIPT AWFUL WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER I received a delivery confirmed and dropped off email at 2:47pm. In fact that was a lie the driver didn't deliver until 3:32. My 79 yr old veteran father is in a nursing home I called the receptionist she said nothing came - I tried to use the chat portal that is a damn JOKE. I do thousands of dollars with Amazon - Walmart - Dash. This was my first time with Shipt. It is the LAST time. There is no tracking your order option - no contact from the shopper and the fact they lied about the delivery - no thanks Target you can plan on losing business with this kind of service. This location is tiny, I mean super tiny BUT don't let the outside fool you! It was super clean inside, well stocked, and customer service is excellent! The Starbucks inside had some amazing items for purchase and the clothing sections were very well taken care of. This location is close to my job, so it's easy to get in and get out! read more

This location is more like 3/5 of a Target which has its upsides and downsides. On the upside, you don't have to walk forever and a day to get to the back of the store. On the downside, they don't stock much of what a full size Target does, especially in the grocery department. Other than that, it's a pretty typical Target. Let's just call this one fun-sized. read more

This looks like a newer Target. I needed a couple items. I ran in got what I needed and I love self check out. It makes it easy Vs the check out lines. They even have ULTA items. Or maybe an ULTA store inside. I've seen this before at a remodeled target. Very nice. read more

They're extremely understaffed. They need to figure out a more efficient check out system. Why are the lines so long, cash registers running out of receipt paper, and only one person at guest services? Twenty people in line is ridiculous. Who assisted me with my return? Not really big clothes section. Not even having a plus size section. Don't come here if you're looking for a quick outfit. This store targets the older crowd/ crown who's parents pay forever thing. (Aka, all kids clothes and matching mom clothes is the first thing you see) read more

Easy shopping experience at this target. It's a smaller location kind of like size of a grocery store but it was empty when I was in it at 5 Wednesday. The staff was nice and helpful and I got everything I needed quickly with no one in line. read more

Your employees are dressed like they're homeless! There were 2 young men who assisted with a return and exchange. Both of them had ill-fitting clothes and their hair was unkempt. One of them had on long nails - either press on or fills - which would have been fine. But the nail polish was chipped! To add insult to injury their customer service style gets an F with no eye contact, apologies for their error (hence the need for a return) and general lack of caring that I was a long time customer at this Target. Kept trying to blame me for their accounting error on my receipt - FOR $5! Come on Target. You're not the only game town. read more

Decent Target. Usually not crowded. One downside for me was they do not have another other foods/food court or drinks aside from a Starbucks. As others have mentioned this is not a Super Target so definitely smaller and less items than other locations. read more

Great store, smaller yes, but very nice and convenient. A relief from the mammoth stores every where else. I can always go in and get what I need and get out easily. If you want the overstimulating, overcrowded experience with a food court then North Star Mall is just up the road. read more

So I stopped be this Target with my bff and your children. I went in to get water and all of a sudden the store's lights went out. Pitch black!! Like something out of a movie. My heart started racing and then what seemed like an eternity was only a split second. The light where on! The employees let everyone finish shopping as they stood by all the exits! I had such a great experience with an employee a few weeks ago. It was already after 9pm and I realized the store would be closing soon. The gentleman at the register was older and so patient and kind. He never acted like I was bothering him or that it was close to closing time. He chatted with me about how he'd moved to San Antonio in the 70's and loved working at that Target. I wish I had his name because he really made my night. This is usually the target I come to. And I consider myself forgiving with retail because I've worked retail. I know how it goes. The last 4 times my wife and I have come in here we have attempted to get my cologne each and every time. Each time can't find anyone to unlock the damn cologne. Annoying. Again I get it because people suck and you have to keep it locked up. This time I said something to the jerk working the self checkouts. "Hey just so you know the past few times I've had a really hard time finding someone to unlock the cologne. So I just went ahead and ordered it from amazon this time. " what did I get? Aww I'm sorry? Oh I'm sorry we'll work on that? No. He laughed and said "welp at least you found a solution that works". Sure did. Won't be coming back here. I'll drive further to the other target. read more

This is a pretty average Target store. The location is great when traveling 281. The area is difficult to navigate... did they build the neighborhood into a mountain? they should have just leveled the mountain. ha! read more

This Target is smaller, but if they don't have what you need, they'll help you find it at another store or order it online and ship it to you for free. The employees are always so helpful and friendly! Couldn't ask for better customer service. This is also one of the locations that has a basket of fresh fruit for little ones to have while we shop. read more

I love Target, I really do.. Just not this one.. I've been here quite a few times and can't even think of why I haven't reviewed it before. When I went a few days ago I walked in and it smelled like urine.. no seriously it did and it was disgusting. I tried walking through the women's clothes section because I love their dresses and it was very messy and unorganized. Their were also long lines at the registers because they only had 2 of them open. I will admit, I went back a few days later on my lunch break from work to pick something up and it smelled better and was a little cleaner. However they still had long lines with 2 registers open. One girl even walked up to there to a register and looked at the lines of people but then grabbed some stuff and walked away. I'm not bashing Target by any means because I love shopping there, just not at this particular location. It would be a great location if they took some time to clean up a little bit and add some employees during busy times during the day. read more

This Target is right on! It is the perfect size to walk around, find your items and leave in a timely manner. The best size to find an associate to help me locate a desired color of an item. Yani, a polite and accommodating young lady, scanned the area for the item. Then she checked the stock in the store. Her next step, she called other stores in San Antonio to find the right color. For those who have given this Target a negative review, do your homework! This is NOT a super Target. It is more in line with your neighborhood store. Yes it is smaller with a limited grocery area BUT service is very good. Went in on Monday for a Sunday ad special. There were none on the shelf. I asked for help. The young man went in storeroom after telling me what days new shipments were received & offering to call another Target if nothing was found in storeroom. What more can I ask for??? read more

Ruined my wedding registry. Have the time the stupid thing didn't work then it kept switching what I picked for other things. Like different colored towels or sizes or brands. Accused me of stealing in front of the entire store. I was not stealing anything, I have never stolen anything in my entire life. Apparently you're not allowed to change your mind about buying something and then walk out. I was stopped at the door by two grown men one of which immediately started yelling at me for stealing and I needed to hand over the item. I had no purse on me and I emptied my pockets and he still didn't believe me, I had to walk them to where I put down the item before they'd let me leave and as I left, the man accusing me told me to "be more careful next time", which shows to me that he still didn't fully believe me. I was treated like I was some punk kid which I am not. I am an adult who would like to be treated like such. I understand that they were just doing their job and for some reason thought I was stealing but they should not have accosted me like they did, it honestly made me feel a little unsafe. i hate leaving this review... i love target and this one is right by my house. but sweet jesus calm down on the credit card sales! the employees are so pushy about the credit cards they gang up on you in flocks! i never have this problem at the other targets i shop at. this last time i was there i finally had to tell the lady that i didnt want a credit card especially after the target lapse in security with all the customers credit information getting out! geez!!! i would rate it a 5 if people werent credit card thirsty . read more
