I've been here a few times However, this review is for the Starbucks that's inside. I want to say the young lady who was working around 3:37pm on 8/19, you are a gem. You were so courteous and friendly, and you did a fantastic job all by yourself while still smiling. Excellent service, and I want to say job well done Also, the section with home plants is at this target by the return/pickup counter. The workers at this location are openly profiling Black customers. I visited the store to shop for items to decorate my office, and I was followed by several employees the entire time--some in uniform, others not. Even after I made my purchases and exited the store, I continued to be followed. Target, you need to implement diversity and inclusion training for all employees at this location. Security personnel are unable to identify a potential liability and simply follow Black customers from the moment they enter. I am completely disgusted by this experience! read more

I was shopping on this store on 7 Jul 2025 in the evening. I was followed by several employees that most likely stereotyped me. Most of them that followed me were white. I look Hispanic but am not so I'm sure they saw me and thought that but never less that's not a reason to follow anyone. I am a military veteran as well and have money. Sad that this target stereotypes minorities because they are in a diverse location. Whoever the manger is needs to have training as well as the leadership who teaches these folks to follow people. No wonder people are boycotting the Target stores. They want to Bully and intimidate non white customers. Dont go here if you're a minority they will follow you thinking you steal. I placed a curbside pickup order for a toy that I was going to gift to my son. When we got home I noticed the box looked a little damaged on the corners but I didn't think much of it, I wrapped it up. Come his birthday party the following week, at the time of unwrapping presents, we began to unwrap mine. He was so excited that he wanted to get it set up well as we opened the box and began to take out the parts we noticed it was already obviously USED and missing parts. We were so disappointed. Targets employees need to do their job better. I rarely do curbside for this reason. They don't care what they give you. We returned the toy and purchased it elsewhere. read more

Not really what TARGET used to be. Found what I was looking for, but not by intuition or logic. Many displays and shelves were in disarray, and items on the floor. Not complete chaos, but much akin to Walmart on a particularly busy night. Bad customer service. This manager at Target, Alyssa, refused to do an even exchange for the same two shirts because "the computer" wouldn't let her. It was an $8 difference that she wanted Me to pay! She was so unyielding and then told me to have "A good day" in a very snide and rude way. Here's her pic. It's a profile shot because she tried to run when she saw that I wanted her picture. Will not be shopping there for some time if ever again. I can understand "policy" even if I don't agree with it, but it was intentionally rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, especially for a manager, to yell out to me to, "Have a nice day!", with a nasty little smirk on her face, as I was walking away! I'm a mom so target is life! But this target is my absolute favorite! It seems like every time I go in there is new clearance on top of clearance! I've gone to other targets and absolutely hate when the dollar-five dollar section is empty or low but this one always has a ton in the dollar-five dollar section! It's never ever busy and there never is long lines which I love. One of the days I went in the toddler clothes section was beautiful! There was no clothes or things in the ground, all the clearance was color coded, and the clothes all folded and stocked! So whoever is in charge of the clothing, you are doing an AMAZING job! read more

rude rude rude. we came on christmas eve as this was the only store open on bandera road and my grandson needed tylenol. we were greeted with were closing in 30 minutes! as we came inside the store another employee abruptly told us just so you know we close at 10!! i interrupted him and advised that we were aware of the closing times! its understandable they want to get off and get home. to be rude and abrupt about closing is not nice ans certainly not the way to treat customers. they really need to treat customers better at least halfway decent. read more

Rita at the target on bandera and 1604 was a life saver ! She asked if we needed anything cause we looked lost. I told her I was looking for the Beyond Meat. She checked for me to see if she still had any in the back. She did so she asked me to give her 30 minutes. I shopped for a bit and made my way back to meats and she was walking to the displays with it. She stopped asked what I would like and handed it to me straight from the box. I can say enough how much she helped me and was so accommodating and sweet. Thank you for excellent customer service throughout the store! read more

This Target location is wonderful. It is spacious, usually well-stocked, and although sometimes there are not enough check out lanes open - the staff is helpful. There are also groceries in this Target, so that could be helpful for those that enjoy one stop shopping. The cherry on top? Starbucks has a location in this Target! FYI: you may use your Starbucks app, but you will not get any rewards if you use it at this particular location. read more

Geeze this place is huge! It's like a warehouse, not even exaggerating. I had no clue this location was even back in this shopping center. The shelves are well stocked and there is a ton of furniture that the other Target's just don't have. The selection is wider too. The only hot mess of a section: shoes. I've been 2x times and it looks like a tornado went through. I actually became overwhelmed and had to stop looking. I was literally digging to find sizes. I haven't checked out the grocery side, they are usually overpriced anyway ... the Cartwheel coupons are garbage (5% off milk? That's 20 cents... pa-lease). Major thumbs down - 5 lanes open at 3pm on a weekday, with 6 customers deep at each one... what is with this? Every Target needs more cashiers! When looking for home goods this is my new go-to location ... the one in Alamo Ranch is severely lacking in comparison. read more

The place is very clean, there is a Starbucks there and the people are all really helpful. One of my favorite things to do is hit the backs of all of the aisles for the clearance shelves. My love for Target is ridiculous. I go in for one thing and leave with 50 items and $100 less in my bank account (down with Wal-Mart!!) This Target is wonderful. Meh, I've experienced better sums it right up! Came in here and went right to electronics knowing what I wanted to buy. Only problem? Customers were the only people in electronics -- there were employees grabbing stuff and scanning -- presumably online orders for Cyber Monday, but not a single employee in the department. After paging, one finally showed up and at this point there was a 4:1 customer to employee ratio. He walked the first couple because inventory was off; he walked the second couple because they had a question about TVs but had waited for nearly 30 minutes; the item I wanted was in a back storage room -- because if you're not going to stay in your department, why put stuff out so it's easier to get to? How dare you be proactive! That's just for acne. Nonetheless, I finally got what I wanted and he walked the fourth customer while he was taking forever in the back trying to find what I was getting. So to recap they walked almost $2000 in revenue due to poor staffing. And retailers wonder how they get to where Sears is today? Keep it up and you'll find out shortly. read more

This Target is AMAZING! The staff here are lovely. It is always much cleaner and emptier than Wal-Mart and HEB, which are typically kinda Ghetto and full of rude customers who don't know how to be courteous to other people. Food is a tiny bit more expensive in some areas but it is worth the price to avoid other stores. The staff are extremely helpful when you have questions and lanes are never too full, unlike the other stores I mentioned. Wal-Mart is a joke when it comes to opening registers. Nice and clean store. Why target seem to be a bit unpopular compared to HEB plus? There are more employees working at HEB and Target lacks any in most departments! I needed 3 mirrors found the one I needed but each location only had 1 and they didn't have online. I went to 2 different locations and mirrors at both location were $29.98. Came to this location and exact same mirror I bought at 2 other location for $29.98 was $41.98 here. I had both receipts for other mirrors I purchased. I loved this Target location! I would drive out of my way an extra few minutes to this Target because it was so much nicer than the Walmart that I had closer to my house. It is very clean, well stocked, and the associates are helpful. I could have very easily gone to the Walmart which was much closer to me but it was dirty and always a mess....so I didn't mind driving in the opposite direction for a extra couple of minutes just to enjoy my shopping experience. Not to mention that this Target is located in a shopping area that is filled with many other good stores in a close proximity so I could really enjoy my shopping experience. This is also a Super Target so you can do your grocery shopping if you need to, although there is an HEB right across the street, but if you only need to pick up a few items and you are already there its a great way to kill two birds with one stone. It is right off of the 1604 so you have easy access to the highway to get around easily if you don't live near it. read more

I will start by saying I usually love shopping at Target, but it seems their customer service is no longer a priority. They never have enough cashiers open, employees are rarely friendly...especially managers. The reason I would shop here instead of other places is because I like the store, but for their higher prices, I would expect a better experience...and I rarely get that. They have 1 or 2 nice cashiers & I try to go to those. Again, their managers walk around looking irritated with their jobs & irritated with their customers (which is the ONLY reason they have jobs...they need customer!) I have been going to this particular Target for years...and sadly, watched the customer service deteriorate. I find myself driving farther from my home whenever I have the time so I don't have to use this store...which is a sad & fixable problem...BETTER TRAINING read more
