Andy is the first employee I've encountered at target with poor customer service. He was a cashier tonight(thursday 3/26). I received mean looks as soon as I got in line, while there was still an hour and a half left before closing. There was no "Hi" or a "Have a good day." The entire check out was silent. I try to avoid this store as much as possible. It's unfortunate it's the closest Target to me, I usually go out of my way to do my shopping. This place is always busy and never has enough cashiers. Not to mention the aisles always look like a bomb exploded recently. The Starbucks inside is no exception, but will do in a pinch. This location is close to a high school, so every morning the place is crawling with high schoolers getting coffee. Definitely don't stop if you're running short on time. read more

This target is poorly stocked, consistently poorly stocked. When I've asked for a specific product, I usually get the same answer "we don't carry that anymore." Your best bet is go to the target at Coit and Campbell. read more

My Red Card is maxed out! Need I say more!? They are more than worthy of what selections are carried and I haven't had any problems. Honestly, I have my bill set up now so that I can get back on track and be able to spend in a more descent manner! Customer service works with you if needed and I probably would have received a better deal if I would have contacted them earlier about my financial stresses. The cashiers are welcoming, asking about my day; even the people in the customer service department are kind with my returns. I had a truly wonderful experience at this store the other day after I neglected (silly me!) to grab money I had requested at self check out. Didn't realize my error until I got home - I had also not collected my receipt- I went back not expecting to have much luck but it was worth a try- they checked the video at the register and saw that the next person took my 30 dollars- then they reimbursed me! This review is specifically for the Pharmacy department. I have had fine experiences with the other departments. Target's pharmacy accepts Medicaid and Star Health and is convenient for us which is why we chose it. However, every time we need a prescription, something goes wrong. They lose my insurance info, they have said they had medications in stock when I called that they were actually out of, they said my son's Medicaid was no longer good (which wasn't true - another pharmacy, Renner Pharmacy, actually looked it up by his medicaid number and called Target to tell them how to do it). It seems as though the people who work there are not consistently trained. Nor does it seem like anyone there has decent problem solving skills. We are switching all our prescriptions to another pharmacy which may be less convenient but is better at their job and customer service. read more

Target seems to have a problem staffing their front end, and it's not just this location. I don't think I have ever seen more than 3 registers open here or the location on 190 in Garland. This location in particular always has a good selection of markdown and clearance items. Store seem pretty well stocked and there were lots of associates out stocking shelves. While shopping for towels in the housewares department I came across a towel that has been smeared with something brown...I'm wasn't going to delve any further into just what that brown stuff was, but it was dry so it had been there a while. Being situated in a mostly residential area traffic in and around this location is much easier to deal with than others. read more

Hands down the worst target. At any point during the day there is only 1 register open. Lines are crazy long ALWAYS and after multiple "surveys" that ask for opinions nothing is ever done about it!!! HATE This target!! read more

Everyone complains about the long lines at Walmart but this Target is the worst about long lines. Just walked out. 6:30PM very busy and 3 out of 30 lanes open with at least 10 people in each. This is how it is everyone I've come here! read more

I have always been a Target lover, but I am so disappointed with this location. I always do all my shopping at Target and have never had an issue, but the manager at this particular location would not price match my niece's Christmas gift from Walmart.com which is one of the sites they'll price match. We just moved from Mesquite to Richardson and we really expected this store to blow ours away. This store is not very clean at all. At the end of our shopping trip after spending $160.00 plus in this store we both needed to use the restroom facilities. The bathroom was repulsing. I was so glad none of our kids were with us because I would have encouraged our boys to relieve themselves in the parking lot before using the restroom there. I have seen truck stop & biker bar bathrooms that were more acceptable than this. I went online to submit a complaint and to my surprise there is no where on the website for complaints. read more

We have been shopping at this Target for as long as we have lived in Richardson for our groceries and have always had good experiences. The past three times we've been the cashiers have been absolutely horrible. Each one displays such poor attitudes and don't even pretend to be friendly. We've always split the grocery bill when we come for years and suddenly no one knows how to do or or is willing to. We will be shopping at another further location from now on. read more

This location isn't as bad as some Targets, like the one off Haskel and 75, but it's much crummier than the Plano or Coit Road locations. Basically, go here if you have to, but there are better Targets. This one is poorly staffed and poorly stocked. read more

Target is probably my favorite place to shop because it's a one stop shop for everything. This one is super convenient because it's super close to my house. It's a clean store and they usually have what I need in stock...but they really need to have more registers open. Every time I go there, they have about 4 open. Sometimes this is at peak shopping hours and lines are absolutely ridiculous! This afternoon, at 5:30, they had the self checkout lanes open and 3 registers. I had a full cart and a toddler with me, so self check out was not an option. read more

It's right on my way home and rarely too busy to the point that it's frustrating to visit.

I love Target!!! This is my neighborhood target so I can wander around in here for hours!!! The bad thing is is that you have to go at good hours. It's located next to my old high school and lets just say you dont wanna be there around 3-4 PM Monday-Friday. The kids are running around and stealing stuff and its a disaster. Everything is pretty normal for target. Nothing too special but this is the Target you will probably find me creeping through weekly. read more

This is the best store ever! We usually come her about 3 times a week for our groceries or sometimes to just "explore" the employees are always nice and the store is always clean and never messy or dirty. We do recommend people to go here cause there's always great prices and you don't know what you might find that you love. read more

Although Target has products priced higher than at other stores, it has everything you need and they tend to have awesome sales each time I go. Employees are helpful and everything is pretty organized but I hate how sometimes they only have 2 registers open out of the 20 registers they have which makes the line longer. But I'm glad that they have self check out now which makes it convenient. I have also been to this Target several times when it was Black Friday and they are really organized and particular about how they want customers to go in their store which makes less people rushing to beat everyone or getting the best deals first. read more

Poor quality produce on the floor in low quantities and no one scheduled @ 3:30 PM to help or look in the backroom for better product. Called the front desk from my phone and no one came. Waited 10 minutes and called back, no answer. Should have gone with first instinct and gone to Kroger. This store is a ghost town. read more

I used to be a big target fan but recently it's just not the same. The Richardson Square location is dirty, under staffed and unfriendly. I also think it's misleading when you post a discount and then have to have an app to get the discount. I won't be visiting this location any time soon. So sad since I could walk here. read more

Like every Target I have been to, this place is super understaffed. However, the workers at the check outs are very patient and friendly despite what looks like really hectic work duties. The wait to check out can be pretty long. The clearance sections here usually aren't filled with that great of stuff. read more

Target's Deli doesn't exist!! They have meat, cheese, sampler trays, etc. in the Deli but NO BODY WORKS BEHIND THE COUNTER! Today was my 3rd trip in 3 weeks. Each time I've gone to the deli there has been no one there to help me. Visit 1: It must have been close to 8pm, there was a woman behind the counter but she was so busy talking with her friend that she didn't bother to even make eye contact with me, much less have the professionalism to tell me that they were closed! So RUDE. Visit 2 at 6:45pm: There was no one behind the counter. I called out 4 times, walked around the area hoping to get someone's attention, I rapped on the glass cover of the deli meat area....no one ever came to help so, after 4 minutes, I walked away. Visit 3 at 4:30pm: Just as on Visit 2, I walked around, I called out, I rapped on the glass deli case...no one ever came to help. I asked the very nice produce man if he could help. Within 2 minutes RICARDO came to assist me with a handsome smile on his face and an apology for not being helped. It turns out that I'm not the first customer to complain about the lack of deli workers because Ricardo said that the deli employee on the schedule apparently didn't show up! WHAT? Target, get it together. Fire these lazy, undependable people and hire someone who truly wants the job. Don't perpetuate the employment of slovenly 'workers' -- they don't deserve another chance. Thank goodness you have great people like Ricardo and the produce man! read more

This has got to be the worst pharmacy ever, the only reason we continue to go back is out of convenience, though it becomes less and less convenient time after time when we call to confirm something is ready, get there, it's not, they've tried to continually give my wife birth control even though she was obviously pregnant several times, her blood pressure medication changed yet they kept trying to fill both the old and the new, we just had to call to get the prescribed directions for her blood pressure medication because they put take as needed for back pain, it makes me wonder if they do all this are they competent enough to get the right medication in the right bottles, it reminds me of It's a Wonderful Life and Mr. Gower trying to that kid poison.. read more

This store is exactly 0.8 miles from my house; now I am willing to drive to the Target in Allen on McDermott, which we did last night and it is an additional 12 miles and in the opposite direction. That being said, except for the fact that they actually had the items we needed (and we had a full basket), this is the WORST Customer Service oriented Target ever. Unfortunately, after waiting in the ONLY (1) register line to be checked out for 15 minutes, we jumped ship, because clearly if there was a manager on site, they were not doing their job. 2 other employees stood there talking to the ONLY person working (other than the guy working at the electronics station, who did an excellent job at selling my wife a new Fitbit watch), and looked up at all the customers waiting (multiple times) and did not do or say anything, at least acknowledge people, common courtesy. As a manager, ask your employees to pause their break (if they are on one), and let them continue it later or make it worth their while if you're in a jam. Or if you're a manager, lead by example, get on a register yourself, you are not above it. As for the person running the show at Target Corp., or whoever is in charge reading this: SELF CHECK OUT LANES!!! It is cheaper for you. And easier on those that don't want to deal with BS (i.e. slow employees who take a full 15 seconds to scan a single jar of salsa and put it in the bag). The concept being you only need one person to oversee all the self check out lanes, any problem may easily corrected, and the customer may continue checking out their items. read more

I used to love this Target but after today I don't think I will shop here as much. My toddler and older child love going there and enjoy getting a free cookie. Today, however, there was a mean spirited woman behind the counter and she wouldn't give my kids a cookie. We had been in there a week earlier and the bakery person had no problem with giving them a cookie. There are many grocery stores around that are much cheaper than this one. We go there because it used to be nicer than the average grocery. It's been slowly getting worse and worse. The lines are always long. There's not enough people checking you out. They also don't stock a lot of the juices and other things that we used to buy there and we wined up going somewhere else for them. At least the customer service used to be really good, now I will consider Fiesta or Tom Thumb which are just as close tp go to from where we live. I was sorry Target, but we will be shopping there as much anymore!! read more

I went to buy my wife a green tea and lemon loaf and was told by an employee that the card machine was down and I could download the app to pay. I'm pretty patient so I did but accidentally picked the wrong store when I paid. I told the employee what I did and she said to try calling the store in which I paid. I did and the manager said tell them to just let me have what I paid for. Listening to the conversation she told the manager that they where a standalone store and not part of corp which made sense because I could not find the store on the app to change my self. The employee then told me she would give it to me for free but to remember to bring my phone to the register to pay. I had been in the store 30 min trying to buy something that should have only taken my 5 min also if she had told me to bring my phone in the first place that would not been a further waste of my time. Like I said I'm a pretty patient person and have never wrote a bad review, however I am very dissatisfied with my experience here. Had a 2 o'clock appointment for family pictures today. We showed up 4 min late thinking we missed it but after an hour later we realized we were more then on time. The mother with 4 kids who lacked discipline showed up late and caused a major delay for everyone. The best part about it is she complained the whole time that she had to wait. So finally it's our turn and luckily our kids weren't going insane just yet. So now I get to the reason for one star. The girl who took our pictures never apologize for the lateness and she didn't even seem thrilled to be there. We just stood there and she took our pictures. We were better off standing outside the store and asking a nearby stranger if they could take our picture and all it would cost us is a simple thank you. I highly recommend not going to this target off Plano road next to Lowes. Save your money and go somewhere special because that's why we do these things to remember these days. After this experience all I'm going to remember is how horrible it was. read more
