Yikes. Why in the world does this Target have so many 1 star reviews? Really wonder what happened to warrant that. It's the closest one to where I work and it's the intended one for Target runs. It's a larger one too, with a different layout, similar to the one I've been to in Anaheim where it's mostly clothing in the middle and everything else in the periphery. Since it's so large, make sure to use your app with the store location set so you can figure out what aisle to be in. Plenty of parking, but I can see the plaza getting quite busy. I noticed immediately that this larger location has more plants and flower bouquets available when you enter so that's nice if you need a quick gift. Most of the Xmas clearance items have been cleared out by the second week of January, unfortunately. Prices are standard with any Target. We got what we needed and left afterwards. I had a horrible experience with this Target location due to their complete lack of customer service. I tried calling multiple times and no one ever answered the phone. Not once. When a company as large as Target can't manage something as basic as answering customer calls, it's incredibly frustrating, especially when you're trying to get quick information before coming in. I had never used the drive up service until today. Ordered a few items I needed in advance via my cell phone, waited three hours, arrived to the store and parked in a numbered parking stall. I notified the store that I was parked in front of the store and with four minutes, a store employee brought my merchandise out to me How easy was that process was my first thought. I will DEFINITELY be using this service more often as a means of not entering the store and purchasing items I do not need this saving me money. read more

Decent target, appreciate the wide selection and Ulta items. The parking lot tends to get extremely packed. Parking is usually tight here, very packed with long lines especially around the holidays. Drive-up is best during non busy times, I have waited from 5 minutes to an hour on busy days (which really just takes way from the convenience). I try to visit in the morning before 11 AM when doing curbside, otherwise I will pickup my order inside. I also like to order from mobile because in store prices tend to be more expensive sadly. Also, I stopped shopping here weeks ago, very disappointed with the target so I have been participating in the boycott. read more

The line moved at a glacial pace. The whole point of me going to Target was to save time, not waste it standing around like I've been punished for not swiping plastic. It's a complete slap in the face to anyone who still uses cash -- which, news flash, a LOT of people still do. Seniors, budget-conscious families, people without access to banks, or customers like me who simply choose to use it. This store clearly doesn't care. I expect better from Target. I didn't come here looking for luxury or red carpet service. I just wanted a basic, functional shopping experience that didn't leave me feeling ignored and disrespected. But between the lack of proper checkout options, the understaffing, and the clear push to herd everyone into automated card-only systems, it's obvious this store doesn't prioritize customer convenience anymore -- only efficiency for themselves, at our expense. The most insulting part? I passed up a competitor to shop here. I made the conscious choice to support Target, thinking I'd get a better experience. That was a mistake I won't make again. Just want to share that I accidentally left my cellphone on the shopping cart outside after loading my stuff onto my car and realized it until I was a couple miles away so I returned back and employee Damian was collecting the shopping carts outside and when I asked him if he found a cellphone he said yes and gave it to me. No shopping carts available. Loitering and panhandling outside doors. I got followed by a strange man on a different visit, had to report him to employee who was on her break. Employees restocking the floors have no regard for customers. I watched an employee leave an isle and almost hit two people with her restock rack. I've personally experienced this as well on several other occasions. I started doing drive up pick up because of this but my last few orders were missing/incorrect items. In the check out lines I watched customers guess which cashiers were open because only one of them had their light on. It wasn't until someone asked one of the 2 other cashiers if they were open, did they turn their lights on. Employees always look miserable but I chalk it up to the company in general. Probably the messiest, most unorganized, hectic Target location I've been to. Granted, I did come in before Christmas weekend, but still. I also went to other locations and this does not compare. 1. Parking - pretty whatever. You're not going to park right in front of the doors, which I didn't care about. But the further you park, the sketchier it became. I parked next to a bunch of teenagers who didn't seem to have anything to do but smoke outside their car. 2. Their dressing rooms were closed for whatever reason - having me purchase all the clothes I wanted to try on then return the ones I didn't want. I even went to another Target the same day and they were open. Why? They had 3 staff members there to tell me they're closed, so it's not lack of staff. Prevention of theft? idk 3. I get the hustle and bustle of the holidays brings customers who get stuff and decide not to purchase them, placing them wherever. But this place seemed like it was EVERYWHERE. Just constant messes everywhere. 4. The kids clothes section are a mess. I honestly did not know what I was looking at for a moment. Was I still in the infant section? Toddler? Boys vs girls?? All jumbled up and not shopper-friendly. 5. The overall smell of the place just smelled like a long, lingering fart following me. Super unpleasant. I hope they get their stuff together and maybe put a little more effort/attention to the minor stuff that contribute to a shopper's experience. read more

This target is by far the dirty filthy McNastyiest. From the restrooms to throughout the entire store. I visited this Target on a Thursday around 6pm, there was only 2 lines open and they were backed up. The self check out line was very long and only one person was attempting to help. I'm not sure what has happened to this store but if I could give it less than one star I would. I'm not sure if it may be a staffing or management issue. You cannot find any associates to help you in the store either. For the City of Pico Rivera this is very disappointing and people will drive out of our city to shop elsewhere to another target that sells the same products in a clean store with customer service and a better shopping environment where you want to spend more money . When this target opened it was perfect. Somehow over a few years it's turned into a mess. Hopefully things will improve, until there go somewhere else it's not worth the headache. read more

This is a false advertisement! I been coming here for a while and everything went great. However, the last couple times I come here to get diaper that's then I felt the deals they had is ripped off. It says if I spend $100 or more I get $20 gift cards on baby supplies such as diaper, baby health etc. apparently I have to scan the barcode to see if is eligible. Picked up a few things from my local Target. Found a nice doormat in my favorite color for only $12.99. Looks durable and not cheaply made. The store itself is clean and well organized, but not well stocked. There are quite a few empty shelves on the floor. School supplies, clothing and the grocery area is the only area well stocked. I gave this store 4 stars because of the cleanliness and their cashier Ana who was very nice and helpful. It's very refreshing to be treated as a valued customer at Target. Went to target today to do a return, was in line behind two older Brasilian tourists who only wanted to buy a can of beer. The girl working the customer service line asked them for their ID and they brought out their Brazilian passports. The target employee then told them it has to be a US passport! and asked if they had a drivers license! The guy of course says it's a Brazilian drivers license and brings it out to show her. The employee then calls the manager because both forms of ID were brasilian! I never saw such idiotic actions by employees in my life! The manager then says they will accept it just this once--give me a break! And she proceeded to ask them to input their phone number which the gentleman replied it's a brasilian phone number! The couple were both clearly old enough to buy alcohol in this country but these employees were absolute idiots! They were still trying to input their phone number after I had completed my return! Absolutely ridiculous! Target needs to hire people who can make a command decision and think outside of the box! If a brasilian passport is good enough to pass through US customs then it should be sufficient to buy a $3 can of beet! Absolutely ridiculous! These target employees made me embarrassed to be American! Get your act together target! Last time I checked, one does not need to provide a phone number to buy alcohol!!!! On top of all that there was a horrible smell penetrating the inside of the store --it smelled like feces from a possible broken plumbing /pipes. I only saw one employee looking in the refrigerated dog food section thinking that was the source but was not! The smell was all over the store and a hazardous health issue---in my opinion the store should have been closed! A lot of perishable expired, be careful. And the dates on the meat not exactly accurate! I ate sirloin some days before expiration & took me four days to get that sht out my body. My body was going nuts. Im 32, and ive definitely learned! Good thing i kno the power of grapes, know the most poweful sources, kno probiotics, know raw honey, & already eat clean. Better me, than you, for real!!! But today, Ernesto went above and beyond to accommodate my order. He verified medicine was in my order and he checked the bags and didn't see it. He went back in to verify what happened. I have been to Pico Rivera Target twice in the past week and both times the associates who tend to the shopping carts are not happy. I cannot help it if I do not want a cart with a bum wheel. I have been coming here for years!! Today is the day I stop being a customer to target. I'd rather go to Walmart and spend hours in the long line than come here again. The management and cashiers are disrespectful, even when wrong, and have no idea what customer service is. During checkout the wrong price came up yet we were told they could only honor us 2 of the 10 items we were taking. The items were not misplaced, nor were we asking for a discount. All we were asking for was the right thing to be done. As you can see in the picture attached, the correct price was $2.14 yet they refused to honor the price and charged us $4.29 for 5/10 axes. Yes, we purchased ANARCHY. The manager kept asking us to meet him halfway. But why should we meet him halfway when we are not in the wrong. They are the ones doing false advertisement. The only reason we took the 10 items were we because we needed them to take to help the homeless. The way the cashier and the manager spoke to us was no way to speak to a customer, mainly because they were WRONG. They insisted it was due to the remodel and the items were misplaced.
